This shirt is not the baggy chamois shirt of old. More slim fitting. I went a size small even though I wear a medium in most other stores. Would recommend a size down from your normal size.

These are the best shirts - so practical in cooler weather. Trim fit just eliminates some of the extra cloth while still maintaining the loose fit and feel. I own 4 of these

Warm and stylish, this shirt is both comfortable, cozy even, and good looking. Really a great buy.

I use it as a jacket on cool evenings. fabric is just the right weight and hand. Fit is just right.

Sleeves are too long. Weight of fabric seems slightly less than regular chamois cloth shirt, but this shirt has a better taper to the sides for people who are not overweight. However, I don't see enough difference to justify the premium price over regular chamois cloth shirt.

I own every color because it is a perfect shirt. So glad to have a shirt that isn't baggy and therefore is warmer. its amazingly soft and looks fantastic. Thanks LL Bean!

Sorry I don't know the weight and height for the person I purchased this for. Gave this as a Xmas gift for a tall thin young man that has a problem with shirts as they are much too wide and baggy. When I told him it was a large tall and slim fit, he tried it on right away. Perfect fit. Still had room on the sides. He was pleased to have a warm outdoor shirt that fit. More colors please!

We were watching Castle Rock and my boyfriend of hand said he liked the shirt Tim Robbins was wearing. I googled black flannel shirt and this one came up, LL Bean was a brand I was aware of but I would never think to buy from. I made the decision to go ahead and buy the black one. He LOVES it. I'll try and buy another, especially so if it goes on sale

If you got my unusual dimensions (6'4" 180" 42 chest 32 waist), you should select a base like this and take it to a seamstress for a nice fit. I had to take off a couple inches on each side, but now it's my favorite shirt. It's fire.

Very soft after 1st wash and heavier than most flannel shirts. Well made and comfortable. Perfect for those cold winter months.

I absolutely love the LL Bean chamois material. It's warm, thick, and incredibly soft. I originally purchased a small in the traditional fit, and eventually had to give it away even though I loved the feel of the material since I was swimming in it (too boxy and long). I was psyched to see that there was a slim fit version, which fits me wonderfully. I would love to see some more colors in the slim fit.

My husband has many of these, different colors , its his favorite shirts, soft, warm and comfy... I just wish they have some nice warm & bright colors, right now its all dark or Blahh colors. Bring back the nice warm yellow, a lighter blue, litgher greens, burn orange, soft browns, etc, etc, it seems right now is all very dark colors or just boring grey or beige. A little pricey, but usually a great quality long lasting shirt, just once in a while, you have one... that will start to shred on the cuffs, or elbows get worn out, pretty quick, it has happened to us, and I contacted LL Bean & they took care of it, by replacing it under their warranty, now that is standing behind your brand, great customer service, this is why I keep buying them, for my husband & my adult sons, over & over again.

My husband absolutely LOVES these shirts. I wish they came in more colors like turquoise, olive green and a light shade of green. These colors look great on him. They are the only shirts he wears. He has one in every color. Has worn them for years. He wears them year round. They wear very well. I will continue to purchase them for him.

These shirts are excellent. They are well made and fit very well; I wear them to work regularly.

I first started wearing your chamois shirts back in the 70s, but this signature chamois is a little more distinguished with the contrasting brown buttons on the gray-- which works well with my gray hair, and the angled pocket flaps give it a bit of a flair... A cool shirt!...(I could have gone with a tall, but this works fine)

I love this shirt and this is my second one. I still have the first. The cloth is so soft and comfortable even before washing. It has long tails you can tuck in or wear it as a light jacket untucked with another light shirt underneath. It is very durable and will last for years. I will be coming back for more.

This is the third time I've purchaded the chamois short; each time one has gotten too worn, I've replaced it. I use the shirt instead of a bathrobe for around the house wear with nightclothes in winter and love it's easy practicality. It's warm and comfortable and easy to throw on in the morning. These shirts are durable and each has lasted me years. I keep until the sleeves get tattered, and wear daily during cold weather. I will say that I'm a female and pretty average-sized, and the medium is none too large, fine for me, but it is a men's item.

This is the warmest softest shirt I have ever owned. Very comfortable to wear on these cold winter days. Would definitely buy again. If you're looking for a warm shirt this is the one to buy!

I am a woman enjoying my Signature Chamois shirt. I have a women's shirt, but it's too thin and almost cropped. I love this authentic Chamois. It is so high quality and comforting. I was hoping to find an ivory colored shirt but the oatmeal is nice and versatile too. These shirts are much better for looks, care, and durability than any sweater. There is no comparison!

I purchased this for my daughter (14) for Christmas and she loves it. She asks for more every time she wears hers.
