Love this sweater. The navy is a gorgeous color. Wish they had a brown one, I'd order it in a second. Only negative is LL Beans sizes are kind of a joke. I'm a large in most brands, but had to return the large I ordered cause you'd have to be obese for it to fit well. (Same with Large shirts I'd ordered.)

This sweater is very warm and very soft and anything but scratchy. Besides being comfortable, I get more compliments on this than on anything else I wear.

My husband has had this sweater for years. Its always been his go to! We both now have more Raft Wool Sweaters from Bean and enjoy them depending on the temp we decide if were going to wear the Big Guns of Bean. Meaning Rag Wool. We make it fun

So glad I ordered two colors. I tried one on for fit and haven't taken it off to remove the tags. I may go all Minnie Pearl for the next few days. I have other tighter weave wool sweaters that do not keep me as comfortable. I sit in a house that stays 63 degrees and I love the temperature control this provides. Looks nice too. I always appreciate when 2xl fits because there is always a HUGE jump in size to a 3x if it exists. I have a long torso so the tall really works and the sleeves are not sized for an ape. I can wear some 35" sleeves but generally prefer 34'' in dress shirts.

It was my first time ordering online from LLBean but it was amazing. I didn't find better item anywhere. They are warm, comfortable, for anytime work, home. The price is not bad with the free shipping, the timeframe was good. I recommend it to my friends.

Ordered this in Natural and well represented in catalog and website images for color when sweater arrived. Fit as expected (Size Small - for reference I'm 5'7 & 145 'minus'#). Quality materials and construction. Versatile to use with jeans or casual slacks. I do not like to shop - ask my wife - and so appreciate the classic styling I can use several years.

When the weather turns cold, this is one of the first things I put on in the morning. It fits well, looks good, and, above all, keeps me warm.

My daughter gave this to me when I succeeded in losing 65 pounds. It goes with anything short of a tuxedo. Jeans, khaki pants (they're called Chinos these days) worsted wool slacks. Anything. Durable, comfortable. I love it.

I had a similar sweater and alas, it shrunk badly after careful washing and sweater blocking air drying. Beans handled the return promptly and I replaced it with this beautiful sweater. The weave and color is really nice and it fits true to size. One think I love about L. L. Bean Sweaters is the softness; I usually wear a long sleeve tee shirt or cotton Henley under wool sweaters because they itch. Not so with these; a short sleeve tee is perfect. Could not be happier with this sweater. Even better if it doesn't shrink. I guess I wonder...sheep are covered with wool and never shrink in the rain...point to ponder.

Warm and comfortable are what my husband says about this sweater. Sp much so that he has 3 of them! (different colors of course) I see him in one of them all the time.

Ordered this sweater for my son for Christmas. He loved it and it fits perfectly. He wore it to Christmas dinner and received multiple compliments. I don't normally buy items that need to be dry cleaned, but it is such a good looking sweater, it is worth it.

I gave this to my son who is 25. He loved it, and looks great in it.

My son goes to college in Illinois but growing up in Arizona, he only owned a couple of sweaters! This is warm and comfortable and can go with everything.

This is a well made sweater. Being wool, it will last for years. My only wish is that it was lined to prevent itching, eliminating the need to wear a Tee underneath.
