This sweater is well made, quite warm, and the henley look is attractive. There is some pilling during the first wearings, but it is easily removed. Because the top buttons are sew onto a loop of the sweater and thus can pull that area, I add an anchor button to the underside and loop the thread through the button so that it cannot pull the sweater fabric itself.

Says it's soft and warm! His last one finally wore out after 2 decades. What's not to love?

I really love this sweater (the Men's L.L.Bean Classic Ragg Wool Sweater, Henley); I have purchased 10 of these (seriously; 2 or more of each of my favorite colors). The wool provides much warmth in cold weather; the collar is comfortable, even when the buttons are connected; the sweater does not seem too bulky, when worn under a winter parka or jacket.

My husband wanted a warm sweater and this is perfect. The fit and style are just what we expected from LL Bean.

I love this sweater. It's just the rag wool sweater I was looking for. I got the dark grey color. I love everything about it. First I ordered the XL size , but it was too large. I wear XL size in many brands because I don't like my clothes to fit tight. ( I'm not 20 anymore. ) The large is perfect fit. Now, I want other rag wool sweaters from LL Bean. This is a 20+ year sweater for me. I just bought a new 'old friend'.

The sweater fits well and is very warn. Looks good with jeans or business casual. Oatmeal color goes with everything.
