Bought these for my son for a 9-day hiking trip and didn't hear a single complaint about his feet! I also bought the Moab Low A/C Waterproof shoes to try which I honestly liked the look of better, but we decided to go with these because they were more flexible and had more give to them. I think that is a big part of why he didn't have any trouble. Highly recommend!

We have been ordering this exact pair of shoes for the past two years for my son. We just increase in size as he outgrows them. He is super picky about shoes but these are great for everyday and also perfect for hiking adventures. He is also really tough on shoes and these wear well. We loved them so much that we even started ordering them for our daughter, and they have quickly become her favorites also. They don't rub or chafe, they are easy on, and hard to wear out.

My six year old grandson picked these from five other pair, including Merrill’s , Vans, etc because of comfort. I liked them because they seem rugged and are breathable. He just totally used up a pair of Keens Kootenay which he wore every day for a year and a half. Those gave out first in the lining and inside sole. These trail chasers are are breathable and won’t mind wet days. I only had a few days visit to try sizes and brands and Zappos speedy delivery, return, and second delivery for correct size all went smoothly within a few days. Love the customer service. Really liked these shoes for an active little boy.

Unless my son's foot has grown a full size in a month, this shoe fits a little small. But it's as sturdy and comfortable for him as always. This is a good style for a kid with a narrow foot.
