I find that running shoes tend to run small, so for years now I've been sizing up to a 7.5 from my regular size 7 when buying trail runners. However, these Topos are perfectly true to size. My regular size 7 feels just right, still allowing some wiggle room in the toes. More generally, these shoes feel super comfortable. I was a recent Altra convert, but their trail runners have too much room on the toe box; they feel like clown shoes. These Topos are the perfect blend of a roomy, but not too roomy, toe box and tailored fit through the mid-foot and heel. They feel so much more secure on my feed than the Altras do, which I'm sure will be better for my feet.

I love Topo athletic shoes! This style is my favorite, my normal size is a 7.5, and as I have aged, I seem to desire a wide width. However, with this style, I went up a half a size, to a size 8 and it works perfect! Highly recommend

Very impressive fit, almost like standing & walking in sand. These sink your heel nicely, then the arch fits perfectly on up to the wide toe area. Rent great feeling cushion, too, but not mushy. I need the wide width, tho, to get more room in the middle & a bit more on the toes. They're true to size - I'm a size 7, but a 7.5 in athletic shoes and this 7.5 was perfect in length.

I bought these shoes because an independent podiatry website recommended it for folks that need a wide toe box. These are great for that reason as well as being overall very comfortable and supportive without a locked-in feeling.

Bought these after research showed that Topos are designed intentionally with a wide toe box. Yay! They did not disappoint- got a wider toe box without the rest of my foot swimming in a wide overall footprint. Thank you, Topo designers!

I love these...they were comfortable from day one and I get a lot of compliments on the color.

These are the most comfortable shoes! I wear them for walking the dog, shopping, run to the mailbox, just everything. Although they are considered trail shoes, they are incredibly comfortable for walking. The support in the arches and all over is amazing. My wide feet with bunions and hammertoes never wear out in these shoes. You won’t want to take these off at the end of the day, they are that comfortable. There is a removeable insole; Topo supplies a very supportive one. I buy a new pair of these every so often and “demote” current ones to yard work. They have a nice, wide toe box, great arch, very comfortable lugs on bottom and also come in wide. They are heaven! I was an Altra wearer, but Topo won me over.

This is my second pair of Topos. I use them for long walks and short hikes. I need good arch support or I have pain in my 5th metarsil, and these work great. I have a low volume foot and some shoes I can't tighten enough; Topos I can tighten as much as I need. (I was told by shoe department at REI that Topos was bought out and they aren't making more of these shoes right now. So, buy them if you can find them!)
