This is a pretty good shoe, but I feel like it definitely fits a bit narrower/tighter across the ball of the foot than my favorite road shoe, the Ultrafly. For me (with my big toe arthritis), that makes it less comfortable, but maybe the tighter fit in a trail shoe is preferable for some people with narrow feet. Overall, it's a good trail shoe, with a decent amount of traction, and the heel portion of the upper does have a similar locked-in feel to my Ultrafly shoes. I do just wish that the area across the ball of the foot/base of the big toe was a bit more forgiving.

Got the Cyclones to add to my rotation; I have about 8 pairs of shoes and only use the Cyclones for runs under 10 miles, about twice a week. I have put 105 miles on them so far and the sole is falling apart. The wear and tear I'm seeing on the soles is on par with something I'd see after 250+ miles, minimum, on other shoes. Besides that, the shoe is perfect. Lightweight, fast and responsive yet cushy, with a roomy toe box, typical of Topos. Please fix the sole.

I am a long time user of the Topo Ultraflys, but had to switch as I was awaiting the next model to come out. The cyclones were the closest model I could find and feel much lighter than the ultrafly. #sweepstakes

I had a foot reconstruction in 2019. The only shoes I can comfortably wear AND that allow me to walk properly are the shoes from Topo. I highly recommend these shoes for the comfort, especially in the toe due to the foot shape. Customer service is great! The representatives are very knowledgeable and helpful!

I love the toe box! I have been a devout topo buyer for some time, but this model is just so comfortable. Compared to the Phantom and Ultrafly, it is slightly more rigid, and does come maybe to inch narrower than the two previously mentioned models, but with break in, the Pebax cradles the foot. The energy return of the Pebax makes distances up to half marathon seem effortless. Again, a much lighter shoe! #sweepstakes

I am a huge fan of Pebax and similar midsoles. I have had numerous running injuries over the past 45+ years, so I need a good amount of cushioning, but I am also a former high school and college distance runner, so I am accustomed to shoes that are light and nimble. I initially really liked Adidas Boost, but when Nike came out with ZoomX, I forgot all about Boost. I had been doing my distance and recovery runs in the Nike Invincible and my tempo and speedwork runs in the Zoom Streakfly, but both of those were too far to the extreme, so I became a fan (and multiple times consumer) of the New Balance Rebel series. However, by v3 of the Rebel, I found it to also be too much shoe. I had read several times that people who loved the Rebel would love the Cyclone 2, so I gave it a shot, and I'm in love. The Cyclone 2 has enough cushion and support that I can do long runs and overall high mileage (for a 60 year old) in them without soreness or undo fear of injury. But the Cyclone 2 is also so light and nimble that I can not only do fast training in them, I plan to race 5K - half marathons in them. Truly a do it all shoe!

The sole is mainly Styrofoam. Not what I expected. It looks like it will not hold up as long as the specter.

I used to run almost exclusively in Saucony, but there was too much inconsistency with the width of the toe box across the different styles and versions. I've found the Atmos to be comfortable, roomy, and plush for long mileage days on pavement. #sweepstakes

I bought these shoes for my wife. She absolutely loves them. This is the first time we went to a more cushioned shoe for her. She could feel the additional cushion immediately after putting them on her feet. She loves these shoes!

I have been a Topo wearer for a decade and have never been disappointed. I've tried other shoes, but always return. I typically do not like a lot of cushion but am finding the need for more comfort as I move up to the marathon distance. The Atmos have not disappointed. They provide the same fit and comfort that I have come to expect from Topo, and the increased cushion has definitely improved my comfort on the long runs! #sweepstakes

I have been a Topo fan for many years. I've tried other wide toe-box + low drop shoes, but always end up coming back to Topo. I typically do not like much in the way of cushion but decided to try the Atmos for my longer distance running. So far I am not disappointed. The fit is predictably great and the cushion feels supportive.

I love the roomy toe box - elderly with bunions, hammer toes, and arthritis. I especially like the foot stability it provides. I have balance issues and these shoes realize stabilize my feet and help my balance. The only minor issue is that I wish they came with 100% cotton shoe laces. The laces they come with keep coming untied.

A bunch of my coworkers bought this brand because we're standing for long hours. Some even have foot issues. I took the leap because my basically new "H" weren't cutting it anymore. Well, these had a great fit especially the wide toe box for my wife flat feet, comfortable feel even when on my feet for 10hrs & they are not heavy. I'm so glad I bought 2 pairs when I did. I wear 1 color for 1 week & wear the other color the next week.

The Atmos is the only shoe I can wear that accommodates my bunions & custom orthotics with the wide toe box plus providing the lower drop for my scoliosis and the max cushioning to relieve the pain from my leaky leg veins. It's like walking on a cloud!

I've been wearing Topos on trail and needed something for road that would be comfy after 10+ miles. After striking out with the Specter (toe box too narrow for me) I went with the Atmos at the recommendation of Topo customer support. I couldn't be happier and even picked up a couple more pairs as I do 25-40 road mpw depending where I'm at in training. Lots of room in the toe box and my feet feel good on long runs! I see these are "going away soon" and I hope that means a V2 is in the works.

The Atmos are super comfy. A couple of years ago I bought the phantoms and thought I would buy a new pair of those. After seeing that the Atmos had slightly better reviews I took a chance and bought them instead. I'm so glad I did!
