The online reviews on the website were totally accurate. These jeans definitely run large. Have exchanged for a smaller size but don't know yet if they'll work.

I purchased a slim fit pair of jeans with a flexible waist. The size I purchased was a 33x29. The 29 lenght is too long. The jeans are also overpriced at $89.00.

I personally don't like the stretchy feel of these jeans.

Legs are not slim fitting, they are wide. Button hole stitching came slightly unraveled. Quality not as good as jeans in the past. Ordered because tall large size is hard to find.

Well-- I like the beanflex part, the stretch in the fabric is nice. Unfortunately this second pair of jeans is not "slim" as the first pair. I thought of returning them but will keep them and make do. I am sure that there are variabilities in the sizing. Probably can not be remedied.

My husband has been wearing these jeans for a long time. They fit him well. The last modification has made them slightly baggier but the biggest problem is the large, low back pockets. These jeans are low rise so the pockets no longer are on the rear but now ride partway down the back thighs. He only kept one pair since he needed new jeans and has limited choices that fit his need for a very short rise.

I bought a few pair of these a few years ago, and I loved the fit. The length was perfect, and so was the fit. I'd describe that fit as "barely slim" in that the jeans was sort snug against my thighs and calves but just barely. There was plenty of room in the knees. I just received a new pair, and I swear that you could fit another one of me in these jeans. While the waist is about perfect and the length is okay, the seat, thighs, and calves are absurdly baggy. It feels like I'm wearing someone else's pants. I cannot even begin to imagine what a more relaxed fit would be like.

I purchased 2 pairs of these BeanFlex jeans and both tore at the same seam in the seat area after 2 years. They were comfortable and fit well before they failed. One start for each year they lasted.

Dad pants if you're into that kind of thing. They stretch out and don't fit well after the purchase. Not a big fan.

Not slim fit. Material feels cheap. Nothing like the original slim fit denim.

Material is comfy but the cut is not slim fit in the thighs. Feels/looks baggy. Washing didn't help. Disappointed.

These jeans were marked slim however I believe they are a traditional cut because they are not nearly as slim as the previous ones I've purchased.

I think for the first time we are very disappointed with the LL Bean product. We bought the very same pair of jeans that we bought for years, size, number and everything. When we got them home and put them on, they were way too long, 2 inches. We had to hem them up and pay to have them hemmed. They still didn't look right, look baggy so I measured them with the other pair we have here and they are much wider in the leg and length and everywhere. If we would've had hem them up we would've brought them back. I even washed them in hot water and dry them in the hottest heat to see if they would shrink and they did not. So now we don't have a pair of jeans to wear but a pair of work jeans, which we do not like since we spent 80 some dollars for them. It was our mistake. I guess we should've tried them on, but we never do otherwise, we just send for the same thing we always sent for and they have fit in the past.

I have several pairs of the beanflex slim pants. The fit has changed significantly in the last year. This used to be a true slim fit, the pair I recently bought fits more like a standard fit. Far to baggy in the seat and legs. Slim fit does not need to be a skinny jean and hug your thigh but it should reduce the amount of material in the back so it doesn't look like you have an extra pair of pants on you. It appears that the measurement for slim has changed or the factory QC has gone down. Very disappointed!

The chemical smell was overwhelming. Wash, re-washed and washed. Even used baking soda in the rinse. What a waste of time and money. Wish I had seen the comments of a previous purchaser before I bought the jeans.

Jeans are not made well. The Bean Flex material on all of these I have ever owned does something odd in the laundry, and they all look like worn out elastic across the crotch. I wouldn't recommend Bean's quality has went downhill, and these are a good showcase of that.

Who is the genious who put the inseam size on your website BEFORE/ABOVE the waist size on your website? A 34x30 is Waist size first, inseam second.

I can't get rid of the chemical smell in these jeans. It's only after I'm wearing them for a bit that my body heat seems to activate these chemicals. I've soaked them in white vinegar (suggested by the internet), but still no luck. I no longer have the return slip. Oh well.

I ordered these jeans online. They ended up being way too loose and baggy. They were supposed to be slim fit. I was going to send them back but I misplaced the repaperwork from the shipping package.
