While the slacks were of slim/straight cut, they were still too baggy for my husband. Good quality and was sorry they didn't fit to his liking.

Way too big for slim fit. Not wanting skinny jeans, just too much material used.

I've been buying the "slim fit" versions of these jeans since they were released a few years back. Initially, these jeans were indeed slim fit, almost too much so, but over the years, every time I buy a couple new pairs, they get bigger. Bought a few pairs last year and they were much bigger and baggier than the old versions. Didn't mind so much since the original versions were a tad too slim, basically skinny. Bought a couple more just last week and these are even bigger than the ones I bought last year; bigger in the waist, thigh, and ankle opening. These might be slim fit relative to the rest of LL Bean's fits, but they would be considered a regular or even relaxed fit in nearly every other brand of jeans. While the original versions I bought years ago were a little too skinny, I'm worried now that LL Bean is over correcting with these updated fits and making them too large. LL Bean is one of the only companies that sells jeans in a 29" inseam for us shorter guys, so I'd really like to keep buying from them, but I also like my jeans on the slimmer rather than baggier side. The vintage dark dye also smells really bad on these new ones, which wasn't an issue on the older versions.

Not so slim in the thigh, otherwise true to size. Disappointed.

I purchase 2 pairs of these pants in the same order. One pair was clearly slim fit however the second pair was noticeable not slim fit cut although the SKU and size shown on the tag in the pants said they were. I'm going to return them and pick a different color in hopes they will be properly sized. Other than the size problem I like the pants.

I purchased these jeans because they were described as slim fit. I would not consider them slim, as they are a much looser fit than other LLB trim fit jeans. The material does have much flex, which makes them seem even looser. Whether you like that stretch is a personal choice. Because of the built in stretch I would recommend purchasing a waist size one inch less than for non stretch pants. The jeans are not warm for colder weather. I keep the jeans and wear them primarily as summer jeans. I have noticed a few places on the upper thighs where the material may have caught on something and there are ends of stretch fabric sticking out a quarter inch or more. My personal preference is jeans which are 99% or 100% cotton. If one likes the stretch then these jeans should be considered.

I ordered a pair with a 32" waist and a 30" inseam, the same size as a pair of LL Bean sunscreen cargo pants. The inseam on these pants was an inch and a half longer that the cargo pants. Right now these pants are at a clothing alteration place getting cuffs.

Not a great fit, material quality is fair, and leg length measures approximately 1.5 inches too long.

Too much flex. Feels like these pants are constantly falling down.

They're longer than expected. I've worn a 31x32 for years. I even have a pair of the flannel lined slim fit LL Bean jeans that are the same size. These jeans sit higher on the waist and go lower to the ground. I am going to reorder a 31x30

Very loose fitting and more of a straight leg. The flex is great but again not a slim cut jean.

I like the color, which I couldn't get in regular (non-stretch LL Bean) jeans. I am tall and thin so I don't need stretch material in my pants. The jeans are comfortable but not more comfortable than regular jeans. We will see how they hold up after many washings.

The color does not match the color in the pic on the website. I thought the product was just okay - nothing great but not bad either.

Not tight fitting at all. Still kind of loose fitting.

The jeans good quality but not as good as previous jeans from LLBean.

this is what they'd be. Nice material, but not slim fit. These are just regular fit jeans.

Only negative about this purchase was not enough variety in colors. Otherwise Jean is very good.

The jeans are very good as far as quality goes. They are not very "slim fit" through the legs compared to other brands with the same description. I'm not looking for skin tight skinny jeans but they are looser than I was expecting.

These jeans fit per size. They are quite comfortable. But I'm looking for a Jean without the "washed and worn " look, and these have that effect in the dye style. Really there's nothing wrong with them other than my personal preference on the look.

bought these because the 'extra ease' in standard fit made them baggy, these fit nicely in the seat and thighs, but are too tight in the calves and leg openings. didn't want skinny jeans.

The quality and material of these jeans are fine but they fit significantly larger than a same sized pair that I bought from LL Bean about two years ago. I was expecting them to be much slimmer than they are and instead they fit almost a bit baggy on me.

These are "slim straight" but they fit looser than my other pair that are "standard fit". I think somebody goofed when they labeled these. Other than that, they are great: very comfortable, and the double belt loops at the back are an excellent feature.

I bought these jeans because they fit great ,the legs were thin and l have thin legs.I have been wearing your jeans for 50 years and the fabric is excellent.Now when you finally made a pair that looks good on me the material is terrible it looks DIRTY ,strange cheap like fabric.I am back wearing my traditional bean jeans.

The pair I received was MUCH larger than I would have expected for the size and Slim Fit cut in two ways. I'm on the border between a 35" and 36" waist, depending on how uncomfortable I want to be and the give in the fabric. These felt more like a 37" or even 38" in the waist. With them on and fastened I could pull them out a good 2 inches from my belly without stretching the fabric. Second, these were incredibly baggy in the hips and thighs. I could grab hands full of fabric at the thigh and bunch it up. These were not flattering at all. I also didn't care for the fabric but that is my preference. I got to 71 years old wearing Levis 501 and 505 jeans and like plain old canvas fabric. These felt slinky and were way too stretchy for me.
