I really like these shorts. They look dressier than the style would indicate. I wear them for golfing and just for hanging outside. Now I have three pairs and that's very unusual for me.

These shorts are comfortable to wear all day. My son loves them.

These are very comfortable, especially in hot weather. Easy to adjust waist. Well made also.

I purchased my first set of two 7" multisport short last fall. I'm actually wearing them now. I don't like fabric over my knee, so opted for the shorts 7"s' vs. 9"s: better for walking with less fabric on me in this hot enviroment. Make note of the sizing chart: I usually order a large of everything, which would be fine but baggy with these, but ordered a medium and they fit great. Athletic bum and legs: they are still appropriately loose-fitting, not tight. They are the right amount of stretchy, pockets are well designed--both the interior material and orientation to hand entry. They definitley can feel a little more dressed up and "dressy" over gym shorts. Sharp. Snap hip pocket for my wallet (a little small for a big wallet, but fine) and the zipper picket is great for keys. Draw string works great, never feel like I have to pull them up. Use them for casual daily wear and great for walking. They could be used for swimming too, though I don't. MOST OF ALL these breathe and don't feel hot like everything else here in Hawaii, where you wear shorts all year long, all the time. Better than competitive price. Best of all, I know L.L. Bean will stand by their products if there's any issue. Always have. Ordering two more pairs right now.

Love them. I prefer, in some cases, men's shorts to females. I like to carry keys and such to avoid purse at times and these wonderfully allow that. They launder on warm and medium temp for drying. Two front side pockets are phenomenally deep and there is an extra one on right side with a zipper which is perfect for keys or credit card or anything else to tuck away safely.phone also would fit. They do not wrinkle. Elastic waist with strings allows adjustment for fit. Will order another pair different color.

Great shorts, comfortable for hiking, paddling or running. I like the fit and the pockets, including the zipper pocket especially.

My husband is handicap and does a lot of sitting. These shorts are very comfortable, hence my purchase of 5 pairs.

This is about the 10th pair of Multisport shorts that I have purchased. Several years ago, I bought above five pair, all large. In the past six months I have managed to lose weight and the large shorts are now way too large. So I have been restocking with medium sized shorts that fit perfectly. On my body the 7" inseam is perfect. The back pocket has a snap which secures my wallet. Elastic waist band holds up to years of washing. I wear them to exercise, ride my bike, run to the store.
