Soft fabric and light enough for three-season wear. The sleeves are long enough for my 6' 6" frame, which is not always the case with LL Bean's tall size shirts. My hope is that it will not shrink, but I will likely line dry just to be safe.

You can't beat hollow-core polyester for warmth to weight, moisture management, and fabric strength. This is by far the best hollow-core flannel shirt I've owned. I've had a few different variations of Royal Robbins hollow-core flannel, and this has their quality beat by a long shot. The weave is tight enough to add wind resistance, and it's thick enough that it has a good work shirt feel. The double elbow layer is a nice feature and two breast pockets with snaps add some storage. It's a perfect hiking shirt for cold weather.

Extremely well made shirts! My husband likes only snap front flannel shirts and these are the absolute best ever.

You can feel the quality in the clothing. Met my expectations.

Great shirt because the the snaps is better than buttons, especially when you have issues with trying to button up your shirt because you have medical issues and can not do buttons.

I bought it for a trip to the Shetland and the Orkney Islands, and by the end of the trip, it was my favorite shirt. Warm, doesn't wrinkle, dries quickly, durable.

I vacillated buying this shirt because of some of the reviews. Some folks complained that is wasn't soft and was scratchy. I also worried about the fit. I'm glad i purchased this shirt, the fit is perfect, and it is soft, definitely NOT scratchy, and I like the idea of a technical fabric. It is not soft like a traditional flannel, but will be a nice addition to my other flannels. Excited to start wearing it. The snaps are an excellent change. Love the blue and charcoal plaid.

Soft & warm, was able to stay comfortable without a jacket on a cool day.

I bought this for my nephew. I had gotten him one before the pandemic and he loved it. What he loved the most was the snaps. Now they are back and I bought two of them for Christmas. He will be very pleased. It is the only shirt my husband would wear.

The flannel is made of really nice quality materials that I imagine will hold up very well over time

This is a great looking and sturdy shirt. I bought it for a work shirt and it feels like it can do the job.

Feels like it will last, great comfort and looks. The traditional fit was a bit too baggy.

The shirt is comfortable and I do like the snaps instead of buttons (hope they last). But the rating is actually from the people who have commented on my wearing it. Don't think I've ever gotten as many positive comments on a shirt before.

First class product. Typical of LL Bean. I picked this shirt because of looks great AND snaps In place of buttons. I am 80 and snaps are much easier than buttons.

I LOVE this shirt. Love the simple logo. I always buy Tall and the sleeve length and body length are perfect. The snap buttons are really practical. Feels comfortable but tough. Has warmth, but is not suffocating. If they'd make one of similar design but weathered red/grey I'd buy another! Great purchase! Happy with a perfect fit and feel!

The feel of this newer type of flannel and the offset snapped pockets along with the front closure snaps is exactly the type of shirt for my husband. His hands are a bit arthritic so he's able to manage these snaps easily. The look is stylish enough for a Millenial which my son is and who commented how much he liked the shirt. So I bought him one and it looks great.

I have three of these shirts and they have become my go-to shirt. They stay dry, are tough, and fit exactly how I want. They never stink, and I can go multiple days without washing. I work in the construction Industry, and spend a lot of time outdoors, and they work wonderfully. Please note, this is a work shirt. The fabric is rough (and tough), the fit is more relaxed, and it has snaps, not buttons. This is what I need, but if you are looking for a more fitted/comfortable shirt, their cotton shirts would work better.

I bought this for my significant other for Christmas. It looks wonderful on him and fits perfectly.

This one is for me! I buy one each year for my guy at Christmas. Dressier than any other flannel. They are so comfortable and they wash up well. They hold their shape nicely. So I got this one for me to go over my turtleneck. It's good to be nice to yourself!

This shirt has become a favorite shirt! Worn very often as he is cold frequently due to health issues. It is beautiful, fits perfectly and is very comfortable.

My 83 year old husband is wearing this shirt right now. It looks good on him. I asked him how he likes it and what he likes about it. His answer, I like the snaps instead of buttons. He loves flannel shirts. I usually buy Chamois shirts but this seems to be his new favorite.

These are the best shirts, I have 3!! The poly/wool blend is excellent and durable. These look great dressy or casual. Highly recommend.
