I love this fitted shirt! Not blousy and not tight. The heavier weight and a little wool provide warmth without overheating. I'm 6 feet tall, 195# and the medium fits perfect! The snap buttons make it easy to get on and off. I wear this untucked and love the look.

My new Favorite The Katahdin Performance shirt is my new favorite. Quality you would expect, a perfect fit, and a look that kills. This is the shirt for cool fall days all day. My only problem is I live in Nevada and LL Bean does not have any stores outside of Salt Lake City.

As I have previously said, the Katahdin flannel shirts are hands down the best flannel shirt I've ever owned -- and I've owned many! If you're into fluffy and snuggy, that's fine -- but if you want a shirt that's good for any environment and looks outstanding, this is the one to own.

Comfortable loose fit but not overly baggy. The burnt orange colors exude Autumn.

I purchased a couple of these shirts a few weeks ago and have received many compliments, most asked where I purchased them. Most importantly, I like the fit, appearance, and thus far anyway, the wear of the shirts. They feel well-constructed, I appreciate the snap closure over buttons, the sleeves are loose enough to roll but not so loose that, when rolled, they are loose; the fit is "slightly fitted" as described, and I like the feel of the material, it's not as soft as a traditional flannel, but is soft enough.

Great item. Was about ti buy for twice the price on LLB but saw it here. I was mega-chuffed to find it.

We love these shirts and have 5 of them. My partner has dementia and it's hard for Him to button anything. They stay looking like new after many washing. No wrinkles. Quality is great. Thank you LLB.

This was one of my husband's favorite shirts. Last night when we were making dinner he backed up too close to the burner of our gas stove. Wow! A big piece of the back of the shirt completely melted and fell off. It did not flame up and start a fire. The shirt is destroyed, but my husband is fine (I'm a little shaken), and there was no fire. Just a shirt with part of the back melted away. Truly astonishing!

like the color, size good, makes a nice jacket in cooler weather.

This shirt takes the chill off while looking great. This very durable fabric is quiet and will outlast at least three pairs of blue jeans! I still wear ll bean clothing I bought many years ago and it still looks good.

This is my third performance flannel shirt from Bean's. Love them.

This style is suitable for winter and spring. The western style with snap buttons works well in this geography. The smidgin of wool in the cloth makes up for the bulk of traditional cotton flannel.

This shirt is well made and the quality of the fabric great. It's probably a little too heavy in warm weather, but perfect most of the time. I anticipate that it will break in over time like a favorite pair of jeans.

I love the shirt - very comfortable and the medium tall sizing is great!!!! This is my second shirt from this line and I love them both.

Very pleased with this LL Bean flannel shirt. The fabric is very comfortable and offers a unique color pattern. This shirt is ideal for cool spring and fall temperatures. I like the snap button closures, which are also unique. Washes up nicely in cold water. Fits well.

My husband, who is 84, really like the snaps. I bought Deep Wine/Storm Teal for him mostly because it was on sale. I was hesitant about the color but as it turns out, I really like it. The colors are more muted/softer than the picture shows. Much nicer in person.

Ever searching for the perfect outdoors shirt, I think I may have found it with these. Unlike some, I purchased this shirt to actually work and hunt outside, getting it dirty, sweaty, and occasionally bloody. I've found this to be an ideal companion with other sophisticated layers to complete the system. Over a light poly shirt, it's great in crisp fall weather when you're exerting yourself, swap to a merino wool base layer, and you're good down into the 20's. The shirt itself isn't the cuddly soft flannel of other LL Bean shirts; it's flannel in color only. The fabric is still comfortable against your skin, though. The shirt does dry quickly, it's breathable, and it's surprisingly warm for it's thickness. I appreciate the details like the two snap cuffs, elbow reinforcements, and snap placket. It's easy to take on, stays fastened, and it's easy to take off at the end of the day. I haven't washed it a ton yet, but have shown no special care those times I have. It goes in with the rest of the laundry and gets machine dried like everything else. No shrinkage or damage to date. I also like the color choices; they're different and more attractive than the usual shades of plaid we're offered these days. The fit is on par with other Kathadin "slightly fitted" shirts. I normally wear a large in everything and that's the size I ordered. I wasn't looking for something too streamlined - I need to be able to move, bend, stretch, etc. - and this is ideal. Overall, a great shirt and I ordered a second one immediately after wearing the first.
