They are very loose. They fall off my feet while walking. I always wear size 9 but I can't wear these. Unfortunately, I can't return or exchange them.

Just like everyone said. Cute but the band is waaaay too big. Ordered both wide and regular and the issue was the same. Toe post also seems to be in the wrong place. Bummer.

Seems like toe area is too large, a bit sloppy to wear and not as comfortable as other vionics I own.

I had to return these shoes because the part that goes over the top of your foot was too large but the shoe size was correct. Because the top part of the shoe was to large it wouldn't stay on my foot.

I love Vionic shoes and had high hopes for this sandal. The strap across the top of my foot, bought my wide, usual size, was too tight and I couldn't keep the shoe on when I tried to walk. This is the only pair of Vionics I have ever returned.

Love the look, however, they are very stiff so they're not very comfortable.

I returned them immediately because they were very uncomfortable and couldn't keep them on my feet when I walked. Buy they were so pretty!

The minute I saw these shoes, I knew I had to have them. Much of Vionic's stuff is not really my taste (they look too "old lady"), but I MUST have arch support. I could not wait for these cute sandals to arrive. But alas, like ALL Vionic shoes that have a strap over the instep (and I've tried them all), I can't keep them on! They begin to slip backward as soon as I take a step and eventually, I just walk right out of them. I do have a crazy high arch, but I have non-Vionic shoes that are this style that stay on just fine. I love these sandals so much, and I hope to see MORE modern, attractive shoes in "normal" colors and styles, but I'm afraid these will have to go back.

Unfortunately I cannot wear these Alvana sandals because the leather toe strap is painfully hard and inflexible. A shoe repair specialist removed the tough outer layer of the toe strap, and I have tried soaking the strap in olive oil and mineral oil to soften the leather, but it's still too tough for me to wear. All my other Vionic sandals are comfortable and wearable from the start, but this model is unwearable. I would like a refund.

Poor fitting and VERY uncomfortable. Toe post hurts and shoes slip off of your feet.

This shoe is hard to keep on my feet.I am so disappointed! I wish I could return them, but it has been longer tha than 30 days. I agree with everyone's review about the shoe.

I agree with other reviews. The band across the foot is too large, and they won't stay on my feet. I own about 20 pairs of Vionic shoes, and I hate that I have to return them. They are so cute! I hope Vionic will see all of this feedback and redesign this sandal!
