I am so glad I purchased this bag. Originally my plan was to pack in a small rolling bag and use this for things I wanted to keep close while flying to LA California to meet up with my children and my granddaughter for a weekend at Disneyland. I was flying a non-stop on United. When I found out that I could only have ONE bag ONLY and it had to fit UNDER THE SEAT I nearly cried. How was I going to be a fun grandma with such limited room for packing. Where is Hermione Granger when you need her?... OH YEA,,,, She works for BAGGOLINI now.... I had already pared down my clothes to 15 pounds (including the weight of the suitcase) Opting for WOOLX shirts and a spare pair of jeans with a thin down puffy coat....I was going from cold winter Ohio to sunny California and needed a range of body coverage. I pulled out my new 'baggalini' overnight and unzipped the expansion zipper. By using compression sacks, zip lock baggies and travel cubes was able to fit...a bago backpack, snacks, toiletries, an extra coat and rain shell, umbrella, 2 blankets for the ground to watch the parade at Disney, a towel for after Pirates, First Aid Kit, 2 shirts, jeans, swim suit, PJs, undies, socks, sweater, gloves, hat, scarf/blanket. autograph book and pen, glow sticks (for the granddaughter), lanyards with ticket pouches for the family, sunglasses, collapsable drinking bottle with a light, phone, wallet, battery backups x2, charging cables, and my Kindle Fire. The only thing I sacrificed was an extra pair of shoes...but I think I can live in my Voinics (light weight and well supported). Guess I won't be buying any souvenirs, but at least I will have the memories of having my whole family together for a couple days. I haven't seen my granddaughter in over a year and half. So BAH HUMBUG United I'm going to get this party started despite your un-friendly skies. LOVE YOU BAGGALINI !!! Hugs and kisses to the designer of this GREAT carry on.

Great quality bag, build to last. My wife loves it!

I went from a traditional laptop bag, with 2 zipped sides and an open middle pocket (and lots of side pockets) to this bag and fit everything plus extra room. It has a few less side pockets but still had a place for the small stuff. I carry a iPad and a surface go, plenty of charging cords (3, which I put in a pouch.) Along with 3 wallets, some paperwork, and misc personal items (in another little pouch) and still have plenty of extra room in the middle compartment. Could probably put at least 2 days worth of clothing if I wanted. So far so good, we'll see after a month or so of using it how it does in real life.

Great bag to take on a trip enough room for a laptop as well as other items you might need for an overnight stay.

Perfect for my large tablet/iPad and everything else I would carry in my regular purse. Love all the packets and the well placed zip compartments, plus being able to slip it over the handle of my rolling bag.

Love everything about this bag-size, pockets, luggage handle sleeve and style. Took on international flight and it worked well. Durability will be tested over time. It made the 2 week trip!

Perfect size for carry one to carry all my items plus clothes in case my luggage gets lost.

Just used this great case while traveling . My only problem was walking in the airports the bag became very heavy to carry, otherwise for a younger stronger person you can fit all you need for several days.

I love this bag. It's big enough to hold everything and even has an expandable gusset for more room! It also fits very sturdily onto my suitcase. I just used it for a long weekend away and it was great!

My new bag has gone on its first weekend trip, and I felt like Mary Poppins as I was pulling everything out of it. It held a medium packing cube stuffed with clothing, a small packing cube of toiletries, chargers, reading material, slippers, a curling iron, and other things I can't think of right now. The fact that I could unzip the bottom and make it bigger was perfect - that's a very cool feature. In a few weeks it will be going with me to Israel for two weeks, and I'm excited that it can slip onto my carry-on bag. We pack light, so I need to use every trick in the book to be able to carry on as much as possible. The blue color is gorgeous too. I tried using the long removable strap, but it was just too long and I wasn't comfortable with it. Fortunately, the handles are long enough to be able to go on my shoulder, so the long strap will be stored with our luggage and years from now I will find it and wonder what it was for. Other reviewers have said the short straps are too long to be carried because the bag drags on the floor. I am 5'6" and I don't find that an issue at all. Overall, I'm VERY glad I bought this bag. It was worth every penny.

Very pleased

I travel for work with two laptops, plenty of snacks, a knitting project, and a random assortment of other things - and this bag held it all! While still being able to fit under the airplane seat next to my not-exactly-tiny purse. The main compartment is one big, open space with a laptop sleeve on one side and a small zipper pocket on the other side, but that works just fine for me. The outer pockets provide more than enough organization for my smaller items.

This is bag is great! It is professional looking, light weight, and has so many pockets.

Although a bit bigger than expected, it's great! Pretty and functional, there are many useful pockets and it'll be a good carryon bag for traveling. I occasionally travel for work on quick trips and lugging extra bags for a change of clothes and laptop is tiresome. This one bag should be good for all of that. The straps are shoulder length and the extra strap can be used for crossbody holding. Perfect!

Perfect bag for international travel

This appears to be solidly constructed, as well as thoughtfully designed. It is destined to be a gift, so the ultimate assessment will come from the recipient. I own two Baggallini bags ( the Hanover) and have been completely pleased with their performance.

I recently purchased this bag in Salt Lake City after searching for one that was large but not too large that it wouldn't fit under plane seats. I think I found the perfect one! It has several carrying options, fits over rolling luggage handles, has many pockets for "stuff" and expands if you need it. There's a padded computer/iPad sleeve with additional pockets inside. I've only used it twice so far and it seems durable. I got the grey color and love it. The handle drop could be a smidge shorter without affecting the ability to carry it on your shoulder. I'm 5' 9" tall and it just barely touched the floor when I carried it down off my shoulder, not a big issue for me but shorter folks might find it annoying.
