Bought 1 for me and 1 for my sister. We both had a Baggallini travel purse we purchased 20 years ago and we used the heck out of them. It was time for an upgrade. The RFID protection with added compartments made purchasing this one a no brainer. Loving how much it can hold and now a place to put change is a plus.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
This is a decent smaller bag for everyday commuting or travel. I find the strap less comfortable than my previous Baggalini bag (a bit larger, with a slightly wider strap), but chose this one as a replacement because it's compact and keeps my stuff better organize. The ID window is also GREAT for my train pass-- makes the daily commute much smoother.

Unfortunately, this one is not as functional as my old one in the sense that the pockets are a bit skimpier. My small wallet that I was always able to fit in the smallest inside pocket will not fit anymore because the pocket now has a strange, small, oval shape. In fact I am not sure what one would place in it?? It was perfect as a rectangle, and I can't imagine what possessed the designer to change it. Otherwise it is the same terrific high quality bag.

I prefer the old style of this bag but it looks like the strap will hold up better so that's good. This bag is more rigid so will hold less. I like the double zipper on the old version.

This purse will be good for travel. I have the older style from about 10-15 years ago with the flap that covers the main zipper and was really hoping to find the same purse as mine is finally beginning to fall apart. Since this purse doesn't have quite as much room I will definitely use it just for travel. I do love that it has the added security feature so your credit card information can't be taken. Looking forward to my first use in just a few days!

This particular version of the older design does not seem to have the ease of access as the older one. Right now I prefer the older version. Will give it a try. I bought the black pattern one and material is stiffer than the one I currently have. Not sure if I will keep it.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I bought this to replace my old baggalini Wallet Bag (no longer made) which is my go-to purse for travel. The profile of the 2 bags is almost exactly the same except this is vertical rather than horizontal. PROS: The benefit of this style is that it is a better fit for my sunglasses, my phone, my passport. Lots of zipper pockets mean lots of smart organizational options. Although it's not mentioned in the Zappos description, the interior compartment has RFID protection. CONS: Other reviewers have pointed out the "seatbelt like" shoulder strap so I won't go into that. The bag hangs in kind of a heavy, floppy way, but that may be a function of its horizontal design. This bag is very stiff because of the RFID liner and it's noisy when the zipper pulls clunk against it. I miss the soft crinkle fabric that the wallet bag was made of. It seems also that the liner adds some weight. My biggest objection it that the zipper opening is a bit small; I would prefer that it opened out a bit more. In addition, it is not a double zip opening; this is somewhat inconvenient. All of these "cons" are not deal breakers--I decided to keep the bag and will test drive in on a 3 week trip in the UK in September.

Some feather-brained, air-head, know-nothing (probably a man) took the perfect strap made of same material as the purse (it lasted and it STAYED on the shoulder) and replaced that with a strap that looked like a STIFF SATIN ribbon with sharp edges! I love the purse--it has more storage than you would ever think possible! BUT the strap is like the old satin ribbon but it has a sharp edge and I cut my neck when I used it cross body! The stain strap stays on your shoulder for about one minute and then slips off! This is horrible! I LOVED my old bag but lost it and desperately wanted to replace it. After e-mail this company that I LOST my old purse--I got 3 emails in a row asking for a picture to identify the purse???? I LOST IT--how could I take a picture of it? I found it on E-bags and bought it there but this strap is horrible! It ruins the use of the bag! THE ONLY REASON I didn't give GREAT for all three is the stupidity of the strap material!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
This bag is ALMOST perfect for my needs. I love the size and the fact that it has tons of pockets to keep odds and ends organized and not a jumbled up mess. The bag is very slim, so you aren't going to be able to stuff in things like sunglasses, a makeup bag, or hairbrush, but it does hold a lot of small items and keeps them organized and easy to access. I also love how secure everything is. If you drop the bag, nothing is going to come flying out and the interior isn't going to turn into a complete mess. Here is what I carry, to give you an idea. In the back zipper pocket I usually keep a notepad and it is a great place to quickly stuff receipts. The back slip pocket fits my iPhone 6 Plus in a Unicorn Beetle case with room to spare. Within the main compartment there is a zipppered pocket where I keep 2 full checkbooks. I put my punch cards and less often used loyalty cards, etc. in the card slots. Chapstick and a pen go in the elastic loops and in the small slip pocket I keep a little Haiku RFID card holder that stores all of my family's health insurance and health savings cards. That leaves the rest of the main compartment open for any makeup, a pill case, or other things I may not carry every single day, but want to throw in on occasion. In the top zippered pocket on the flap I carry lens cleaning wipes for my glasses, a couple of bandaids, hair ties, and bobby pins. In the bottom zippered pocket on the flap I keep a pocket knife or multi tool. There is a tall zippered pocket under the flap and I keep my cash stored vertically in there. I use the ID pocket for my driver's license and in the small oval zippered pocket below that I keep all of my most commonly used cards in a second Haiku RFID card holder, where they are super quick and easy to access. Now, on to my gripes. The key clip in the main compartment is tiny and awkward to use, so I find it impossible to get my car keys on and off quickly. Rather than fumbling with it, I leave it unused and clip my keys on the purse strap with a carabiner. Not a huge issue. By far, my biggest problem with the purse is the strap, which is incredibly frustrating because I love everything else about the bag. The strap material itself doesn't bother me, but the placement of the attachment points drives me crazy. They are placed very close together on the back of the purse, so the strap is constantly pulling and slipping off of my shoulder or riding up my neck when I am carrying cross body. It is worse than any other purse I have ever had at riding up my neck or falling off my shoulder and can get really annoying and uncomfortable after a while. If the straps were attached on the sides of the purse below where the main compartment zips, it would really help the bag wear better. I love the size and set-up of the bag otherwise, so I will continue to tolerate the annoying strap or see if my sister, who is an awesome seamstress, can help me out and do some surgery to reattach the strap elsewhere.

I really like the size and style of this, but I constantly have to readjust the strap, as it rides up and cuts into my neck. Very uncomfortable and likely going to give away due to this.

I bought this bag to replace the last Journey Crossbody I had, which I've used a LOT and it's getting pretty worn out. This one is slightly different, and actually has too many pockets; the material doesn't really give, it's still pretty stiff.

I bought this a few months ago and missed the deadline to return it. It isn't faulty, it just isn't the right size for me. I thought the internal pouch would hold more, but it is very slim. My wallet and glasses barely fit. With those in place, there isn't room for my keys on the hook. There a several little pockets, but it turns out little pockets are not useful for me. The light colored interior is good, the strap is adjustable. The back zipper pocket is very slim - probably ok for a passport but that's about it. If that pocket is full, then the snap close pocket on top of it can't really hold anything. If you need it to just hold a card or two and glasses and chapstick, it could work nicely.

I thought this would be my perfect small bagg. It is the right size - as long as you don't stuff it. The credit card slots should be wider. Most importantly, the zipper should be much longer, long enough to actually get at the credit card slots or anything that's at the bottom of the bagg.

I did not make a good purchase. I wanted to replace a similar sized baggalini bag. As my strap hooks ripped. The new product was well made but the material including the strap is not smooth. Strap is like what is used to strap cargo in a truck. The strap doesn't extend for comfortable cross body. I am disappointed in my poor choice - the bag isn't what I need but I can't blame the company - it was described accurately. They stopped making the bag I had - sadly. I didn't return because I drug my feet - I'll use it until I decide to find another more suited to me.

Most of my bags are now Baggallini. So when my mother-in-law told me about a possible theft from her old style purse I showed her my bag. This cross body bag is much lighter and more secure. Her verdict is still pending on how useful it's going to be.

I bought this bag to replace another small Baggallini bag that I loved. The previous bag was a light nylon material, easily washable, had less outside zippered pockets, had places for 10 cards inside, was smaller than this bag, but held more. Although I am keeping this bag, I am not as satisfied with it as with the previous bag that I can no longer find. I feel that this bag has too many pockets which make it a bit bulkier.

I really loved the old version of this purse and wore it out. The new one is nice but not as functional for me and didn't open as easily as the old one. I returned it because the everyday bag I ordered worked better for me. I was very close to keeping this one also. It is still a good bag just a bit small now.

This bag is very cute and I think much more functional than its predecessor, the Baggallini Bon Voyage bag. But I do not like how the strap attaches now (permanently attached buckle vs. removable clasp) and I do not like the new fabric for the strap - the old straps were the same fabric as the bag, this is more like seatbelt fabric and was not comfortable to wear.

The size is ok; kind of thick. I have several Baggallini bags that I like very much, but this one has some crinkly lining between inside and outside that makes noises every time you put your hand inside. Feels creepy, I really DON'T like it. I waited too long to open it, so it's too late to return it, I guess, so will go to the Goodwill REALLY disappointed in shoddy materials used here, as I've liked my other Baggallini bags, as I said, quite a bit.

This is the 3rd time I've bought one of these Journey because it had been the best purse I've ever had. I have always loved the external Driver's license slot and I had enough room for all that I needed. However; I am not happy with this newest version . There's only one zipper to open the main compartment and the old version had 2 zippers that opened all the way to the bottom of the bag. Which along with the extra material, allowed for the a wider opening for better viewing and access of the lower area. In this version I can barely fit my hand in to get a credit card from the top CC Compartment, much less the ones further in. Anything that is near the bottom I just have enough room for my hand, and i can't see anything. I can't tell if I'm getting a Card from the right slot or getting it put back because my hand is in the way. That is very frustrating! I actually have pulled out the old version of the Journey that I had with the broken strap and am working on fixing it. Please bring back the old version with the wider opening and the flap that goes across the opening.
