Love this tote. Room for everything, compartments large enough and I like I can switch from crossbody to handles. It is the best tote I have ever had.

I bought my Avenue tote for a trip to Ireland. The airline had strict measurements for carry on and this bag fit those requirements. It holds an incredible amount of travel needs like a book, snacks and the ever present ziploc bag of toiletries. Then I kept adding more things and was still able to put my Bagallini purse in on top. No more scrambling to keep everything together.

I purchased this for work and travel. It has worked beautifully for both!

Best work bag I have ever had. It has room for everything from my laptop, books, wallet, phone, iPad, to makeup and then some. Inside pockets to hold smaller items and one inside zipped pocket, perfect to put even more stuff. Once all the stuff is in the back it does not look bulky! There are three convenient outside pockets that store a water bottle, umbrella, keys, and a nifty little attached wallet for my work ID. The fabric is perfectly stain resistant and absolutely water proof in the worst rain. Trust me, I’ve tried it out involuntarily. On the other side it has two zippers that open a pocket to slide over your suitcase handle, easy to travel in an airport, but can also function as an extra pocket to put a scarf or light cardigan. The bag stands upright even if it is only lightly packed. Oh, the best thing is that it is pink inside, so you can see all your items. Absolutely love it.

I've now owned this bag for almost 2 years. For a long time, I used it as my handbag & briefcase combined. Now that I've retired, I don't use this daily (I downsized to the Anywhere Hobo tote, which I also recommend), but use it as an extra bag when I need a tote. I find the pockets great -- both inside (real pen holders + 2 extra slip pockets, + a large inner zippered pocket & the laptop section. I don't usually carry a laptop or tablet, so I use the laptop section for papers and/or other items, as a nice separator. I find the outer pockets adequate -- I really like the security of the upper front zipped pocket for my phone, and I can put an 8-10 oz water bottle in one of the side front pockets, handcream in the other, and Kleenex (& more) in the central front one. Found it so useful (& ELEGANT in charcoal) that bought 2 more so that I'd always have one even when bags eventually need replacement. Please keep making this . If anything, I'd suggest a slightly longer drop handle; the shoulder strap is a little unwieldy on this one. But that would be icing on the cake. I can carry it just fine as is. I looked at many bags online & in person before selecting this, and so glad for my choice!

Love the bag itself... but would like a less dramatic color for the inside. I got the tan outside, with a fuchsia pink inside.

Nice size--not too big, but more than sufficient for work (papers, files, laptop.) Plenty of pockets. Stylish. Loving it!

Spacious, functional and stylish!

I've had this bag for over 4 years and, overall, it's the best handbag I've ever owned. I live in New York and it's perfect for schlepping stuff to work or wherever else I need to go. It's served me equally well on business trips and vacations in Europe. I love all the little touches like the ID card holder and key attachment (both of which I use every day). I also love that the material is so lightweight, stain resistant and easy to clean (I've actually thrown it in the washing machine a few times). Like other reviewers, I found the laptop sleeve to be poorly designed, so I used a seam ripper to remove the velcro closure and I just use that as a pocket for my wallet and sunglasses. (If I had my way there would be two slip pockets instead). I also find the trolley sleeve to be a tad too wide at the bottom. Other than that, I can't complain, and it's held up really well over the years. One of the shoulder straps started to come undone a couple of years ago so I got that fixed, and recently the top zipper for the trolley sleeve broke. Depending on the cost to fix the zipper, I might just get a new bag. Given all the use I've gotten out of this bag for the price, that's fine by me.

This is not a super spacious bag, but it's perfect for my daily work supplies and doubles as my purse. The number if interior & exterior pockets is great- one exception- only a skinny, narrow water bottle fits the outside pockets so my umbrella is there instead. Easily fits, computer, iPad, notebook, book, magazine, wallet , keys and that's just in the main zipped pocket. It's also got a very comfortable shoulder strap. The handles could have one extra inch of drop to make it perfectly comfortable with the small handles on the shoulder. A water bottle spill was easily wiped up and I air dryed the bag.

The size is perfect to use as my 'one personal item' to bring on the plane. Lots of nice pockets and storage areas, and will fit the size requirement for under-seat storage for a train excursion we have planned on our vacation. I ordered the tote in the blue Pacific and love the color so much that I bought a Baggallini crossbody in the same color! Great quality tote!

Wow! I love this bag! It’s not frumpy but looks professional. I purchased it in black and it’s the perfect personal item bag for an airplane. Since switching jobs, I no longer have the opportunity to sit in first class and quickly realized on my last flight in coach that the aisle seats no longer offer much storage space below. Due to a back injury, the overhead bin is too awkward for me especially when traveling alone. So, I went on a search for some type of carry-on bag to sit at my feet...a bag that I can cram a few snacks into along with reading material, earphones, a small purse, etc. Honestly, I have 3 Baggallini crossbody purses that have traveled around the world with me for 10 years. I know that each bag is thoughtfully designed, organized and wears like steel. This bag is ALSO amazing! Like other reviewers, the padded computer section is a waste of space for me and I thought about ripping it out BUT it’s a great place for files, magazines or items you don’t want to crush like a sandwich from home for those long travel days. ;-) Highly recommend!

This is a perfect companion for my carry-on. It's also perfect as a handbag, that can carry my 8 1/2 x 11 folders, etc. Would easily accommodate my small crossoover bag, also. It's exactly as described and arrived on time! great for the price. The zippered pouch on the bag slides over your luggage handle or doubles as an additional roomy pocket. The bag itself weighs very little. Love it in the mushroom color. Bright, soft golen interior makes it easy to find your stuff!!

Perfect size to serve as purse or tote. Good fabric and color. Just the right number of pockets and options.

This is a great travel bag. Particularly like the sleeve that fits over my roller suitcase. It's also easy to clean (soft cloth with soap & water). The longer strap is great too! It's a little more grownup than the other floral patterned bags I've used for years!

This bag is a great bag for traveling. Large enough to carry all my electronics ie iPad iPhone and reader. Also headphones and other necessities I might need on a plane. Small enough to be my "personal bag" with my roll-a-board bag. This replaces the similar baggallini that travelled for many years. (Still using now as my Stadium bag )

My perfect bag! I use this as my "personal item" on plane and the exterior dual zippers open for use as a trolley sleeve. "Oversized" laptop section is perfect for tablet plus book/magazine/journal/a few file folders. The rest of the main compartment holds my warm scarf (aka travel blanket); liquids; a snack; electronics bag for earbuds, cords & chargers; jewelry, and small purse with wallet, reading glasses, phone. The narrow exterior pockets are good for my extra glasses, Chomps beef stick snacks, a narrow "cola"-style water bottle, umbrella. The luggage tag holder I use to for tea bags (- at last! tea bags don't get pulverized in my bag!) I have the gray bag and the fuchsia interior color makes me smile every time. I have also used this bag as an overnight bag and can carry it all day. If it was any bigger it would be too heavy. Any smaller and it couldn't do the job. I'm ordering my second!

Great bag for trips...holds all my carry on stuff, tablet, book, purse. This is my second one of these type bags...first one still usable just looking a little worn after over 15 years. This is a great brand.

The Avenue Tote is a great quality tote. The reason I’m returning item is the luggage sleeve is too wide for my 6” wide luggage handle. The bag slips off my suitcase.

I need a reasonable sized tote for two upcoming overseas trip and this is the best one I’ve found. I test packed it yesterday with a water bottle, plane snacks, makeup bag, my small purse, medications, extra leggings, shirt and underwear in case I need a quick change, my iPad and phone, a wide scarf in case I’m cold on the plane. Wow! With all that stuff it’s heavy but perfect for the flight. It becomes a much lighter day bag when I remove half the stuff — easy to carry all day with crossbody and handle options, plenty of room for sweater, camera, and a souvenir or two more can’t resist. I don’t need the padded sleeve but it’s a good organizational divider. Thanks, Baggalini. Thanks, Zappos.
