I bought these to replace my Salomon CrossHike and they've held up thus far. The only one thing I will critique is the grippyness of the soles, I find that the Crosshike does excel in that department. Otherwise, they are comfy, light and no blisters caused.

I purchased these shoes in the spring, and it's now too late to return them. Unfortunately, I've never found them comfortable. They seem to exert extra pressure on my legs, which makes me feel tired. Additionally, during a recent hike, the laces on these shoes got tangled, causing me to fall and hit my face quite hard. I was concerned about the possibility of a concussion due to the fall, and it was an extremely painful experience. In my opinion, these shoes are not worth the investment, and I regret not being able to get a refund.

I bought this style over a month ago and love the light weight and total comfort of this shoe. It also gives a lot of support. Im walking part of the Camino Santiago next year and these will be the shoes I wear

I have purchased the Sense Ride 3, 4, and 5. I love Sense Ride!!! The new colour on the Sense Ride 5 with the pink is perfect. One important feature of the Sense Ride 3 and 4 is that the toe box fit perfectly. I did not have to break in the shoe at all. No marks or aches left on my feet. The Sense Ride 5 is not quite as roomy. It feels tight and hurts a bit. My right foot is slightly wider. This is less of an issue as I break them in. I would have to try on a pair in person if I consider the next Sense Ride shoe. The length of the shoe is true to fit.

Soloman is a go to shoe for me; but not this one. Runs about a half size smaller than other Soloman styles. The material of the toe box was wrinkled; possibly warn before or bad quality. Sent them back.

Previous to this shoe I have gone through two Sense Ride 4 shoes and I have to say that I like the 4 better than the 5. The only reason I bought the 5 is because no one has my shoe size in the 4 anymore. The 5 seems more stiff in the uppers and the laces are shorter. When I wear my winter running socks I have to really force my foot into the shoe and I didn't have to do that in the 4. But overall, the 5 is holding up well to the trail abuse I put my shoes through and the tread is staying strong (my favorite feature about Salomon trail shoes). This is a pretty good trail shoe, I just liked the more relaxed fit from the Sense Ride 4 as opposed to the tightness of the Sense Ride 5.

The shoes perform very well on both dirt and paved sections of my hikes/runs -- good cushion and support, easy break in, and I like the lacing system a lot. The shoe also feels more durable than some other trail shoes I've worn. My only issue is that it's 1/4 to 1/2 size too big, which I didn't fully realize till I'd worn them twice. I mail ordered my normal size, so didn't have the chance to try the next size down in a store....

Been a big fan of the sense ride line for every day shoes and this version still delivers. The sense ride 5 fits better and still performs well on most trails. These shoes are my just slip on and go without putting much thought into it.

Just when I thought the sense 4 was my favorite go-to trail shoe, the sense 5 has upped their game in comfort without sacrificing weight. It is the perfect shoe to take out on well maintained trails as well as muddy, slick, steep slopes without losing grip. Definitely a solid choice for any race as well!

These are my favorite shoes ever! The arch is in the correct place for my foot, and the toe box is just right. The ankle is a little loose for me, but I am in heaven.

If you have been a fan of the Sense Rides up until now, then you are in for a treat. Much improvement around the material selection for the upper. If you have not been a fan of the Sense Ride up until now, then these probably wont change your mind. The underfoot feel is quite firm. The lockdown is very good and the shoe rides nicely. If you want more cushion or are coming from a softer shoe, these may not be the best choice.

The updated version of this shoe is a great improvement above the recent years. The change to the upper has made significant improvements for fit without compromising function. Still a great go everywhere should with a wide toe box!

Amazing all rounder - want to run to the trails from your front door? This is the shoe for it. Very comfortable over rocky terrain and even performs well on snow/slush/ mud. Fits true to size and gives you a nice pep in your step.

The Sense Ride 5 delivers the same effortless comfort that I find in the Sense Ride 4, but with noticeably more security through the heel and midfoot. As soon as I put the Sense Ride 5 on, I felt the same familiar comfort in the toe box that I found in the Sense Ride 4. Taking them to the trails and throwing everything their way (chunky ice, snow, flowy singletrack, technical sections, a bit of mud, etc.), I found noticeably more confidence in the added security through the heel and midfoot. For such a light feeling shoe, the support throughout the entire run is immaculate! The added support seems to bring more responsiveness to the shoe, too, which is rare in such a comfortable model. This shoe does it all and is my top pick for athletes looking for one shoe that performs just as well as a shoe that might be specialized for one type of trail running. The Sense Ride 5 is the most versatile trail running shoe on the market.

The back tab on the shoe was very uncomfortable on my ankle. The overall quality of the shoe seems inferior to my last pair, which I purchased at least 10 years ago.

I've had Sense Rides since version 2 and have worked my way through at least six pairs of version 4; I also run in UltraGlides for terrain where I want more cushioning. Sense Ride 5 is now more like a hybrid between previous Sense Rides and current UltraGlides, which I don't really mind..... however... I've never had to have a 'breaking-in' period with Sense Rides, but this version gave me blisters on my arches and toes the first couple of times I used them and they still aren't fully broken-in after 60 km.....bring back the old ones please

This is my 4rth pair of Salomon's. 3 of the sense rides. This pair is wider and do not fit the same. The shoe appears 1/2 to 1 size larger than my others. Disappointed in these. Not sure of the return policy.

Fit fine, but hard to get into with an orthotic. Sole was too stiff & rocked back on heels too much. Have always loved Salomon, but lately not so much.
