I have had numerous pairs of Sense Ride over the last several years and they don't disappoint. I wear them on trails, the street, and even while hiking in the Rockies.

Bought these shoes close to a hike, was worried they wouldn't be ready in time but these shoes are legit great! From fit, durability and my feet felt great during and after the hike.

The Sense Ride models have been daily trainers for mid-long trail runs! The 5 continues to fill that role for me: great traction, snug fit and breathable. They feel a slight bit stiffer than the previous model, but I'm wondering if that will change the more miles I put down in them. Overall, I'm happy with the feel.

They are wide enough for my foot. I love the quick laces. The footbed isnt the cushion I hoped. But swapped the insole.

I absolutely love this trail shoe. I have walked, jogged and ran in this shoe for over a year and it is still still in great shape. I used this shoe for Ragnar training and wore it all through Ragnar with zero issues. No blisters or sores at any time. I bought a second pair recently because they were on sale but it wasn't needed. I highly recommended this shoe.

The quick lace pocket is actually useable. You do have to make sure you have it pulled out when you tighten. Footbed isn't the softest.

I needed something more cushioned for long trail runs as my XA pros werent offering me enough comfort. Those I will keep for hiking. The sense ride is unbelievable out the box and I only have one complaint so fartop of the ankle hurts only on my right foot, no matter how loose the laces are. The tongue maybe needs more padding or the corners of the shoe where your ankle meets the fabric.

Since I bought these shoes I have been putting a lot of miles on it that I can easily say that is one of the most comfortable shoes I ever owned

The lacing system is a cool idea, however, I need to lace my shoes differently because of a giant big toe issue. So I had to cut the lace at the point it is fused to re-lace the shoes, then tie it back together. But a knot will not pass through the rubber keeper. Just a small inconvenience, but something to consider for the next model would be to make the laces so they can be rerouted.

I now have two Sense Ride 5 pairs, and one Salomon Sense Ride pair from 3 years ago. I love this shoe.

I've been buying Sense rides for several years, and I agree with other long-time users that these are no longer comfortable. The front is cramped and no adjusting the laces helps because it's too narrow in front. I found myself taking them off even when sitting. Wish I could return.

While the shoe excels in design and fit, the lack of breathability due to the extra material holding the tongue is a significant drawback.

I've run several versions of this shoe with great success, until the Sense 5. I am running the same size, but the toe box is small rubs blisters on my big toes when I run them. They are now in the donate pile because my toes are still recovering from the last run. I'm greatly disappointed as this shoe works well for the terrain in western Colorado.

I have worn Salomons for years. I usually purchase the speed cross, but went to yhis style as they appear to be a little bit lighter. I love the shoe, however, the strings need some adjusting. They almost have so much memory that they pull to one side. Overall great shoe!

Needed a new pair of Salomon Sense Rides for distance walking and hiking. These are the best! These shoes hold my foot steady and are super comfortable. The quick lace (no tie) is great. Just pull and secure.

I am a Salomon speedcross lover through and through. Last year I decided to try a different trail shoe, and went with Hokas-I was not impressed with the feeling, and found my way back to Salomons. I found this shoe and decided to try it since I hadnt worn anything but the speed cross. These are amazing-lightweight, comfortable, supportive. Ive worn them multiple times a week on rucks, trail runs, and hikes and they reminded me why I loved Salomons in the first place. I dont see myself veering away from them again in the future.

Well, I haven't really worn these too much as it is STILL snowing this spring! However, when we did get a stretch of dry days these seem to perform best on dirt roads. I used them a couple of times on single track trails and they were ok. Just didn't seem to have the bite needed for my liking. They are definitely cushioned well for a longer haul and seemed stable enough. I would like to see these in a women's wide.

The sense ride 4 was my favourite shoe!! When I couldn't find anymore, I decided to the de 5. Very comfortable but different fit. The toe box is a lot smaller than the 4 version and i find that there is a little less padding underneath the toes. Maybe going half a size up would give a better fit. Regardless, it's still an excellent shoe.

Good durability. I have been almost dailying two pairs of these across 9 months and have seen almost zero wear and tear on the outsole or anywhere else. The tongue pouch never worked, and the tongue pull tab broke off just a week ago. The outsole discolours really quickly. Very comfy sole, comparable to boost.

This is my 4rth pair of Salomons. 3 of the sense rides. This pair is wider and do not fit the same. The shoe appears 1/2 to 1 size larger than my others. Disappointed in these. Not sure of the return policy.

I got them in a size 5 because I have other pairs of salmon that fit me well in that size, but this model in particular fits a bit small so I recommend you get a size up from what you usually get. Other than that everything was amazing
