As a person with a narrow heal and aside ball of foot, I have not found footwear that fits me as well as Salomon. This must be my 20th pair. I find the fit and comfort to be outstanding. The soles offer excellent grip in the eet and have great longevity. I also own Salomon Hiking and Winter boots and have nothing but praise for them!

I have used this shoe daily for a month and it has been really comfortable and supportive for my sensitive feet. Build quality is very good.

Used for a month now. Extremely comfortable, feel good on road which is mainly where I run. Haven't properly ran trail yet. Goretex so obviously waterproof. Go half a size bigger. I am normally a 10 and went for a 10.5 based on other people's reviews. Spot on. Not sure why but it seems most trainer manufacturers are running small nowadays. I would definitely recommend these trainers

I've been wearing Sense rides since they were introduced. I play a ton of disc golf and can't wait to try out the Gore version this upcoming wet season. The tread lasts a long time with great grip and the comfort level is beyond ! Thanks for the Rides

This shoe exceeded my expectations. I wasn't happy with the previous shoe I purchased and the customer service with this company was the most exceptional I have ever experienced.

The replacement service was second to none, the new ones were a little tighter than the last ones but hoping they stretch a little.

Good shoes, cleaner nicer look around town than the previous model, and toe-box narrower. Heel rubbed a bit, let's see when they break in.

First off, I've worn Salomon footwear for work as a police officer for ten years now. I have very bad knees and the light weight and comfort provided by Salomon's help me incredibly. Their customer service, quality and warranty are top notch. I recently did a warrant claim. The process was easy and straightforward. They are incredibly fair and supportive. Through that process I purchased a pair of the new Sense Ride 5 shoes. I wear them for exercise and running. Right out of the box they fit great and we're comfortable. I had had them for a few weeks now, and they are great. I've used them for short runs (1.5 miles) up to 5 miles at a time. They offer great support and are very light weight and comfortable. I am very pleased and if you're looking for a great cross trainer type of athletic shoe get these! You won't be disappointed.

This is a great shoe, function, look, and everything. I bought a SENSE RIDE 5 GORE-TEX and AERO BLAZE 2 at the same time both 8.5 UK size. I found that the SENSE RIDE 5 GORE-TEX is not true to the size, while my feet are totally free and comfortable in the AERO BLAZE 2, the mid section of the SENSE RIDE 5 GORE-TEX is tight no matter how loose you leave the laces. So you might order a 0.5 size bigger than your usual size.

Extremely comfortable and stable for mixed terrain. Comfortable for short medium road runs too. Fits smaller than other models by a half size. Only gripe is that sand and debris can collect between the goretex and the mesh at the toe box.

Love the shoe, great tread, cushion and waterproofing in my pair. I always wear 13 in Salomon's but these run very narrow and short. Took out the insoles and still too small.

Like another reviewer commented, the Sense Ride fits smaller than previous versions. I own pairs of both the Sense Ride 3 and 4 in a 9.5, and found my toes touch the end of the Sense Ride 5. I'll have to order a half size size larger I imagine.

As another reviewer commented, the sizing appears to have changed. I own 2 pairs of Sense Ride 3's, and 1 pair of Sense Ride 4's, all in a 9.5 US. That same size in Sense Ride 5 puts my toes to the end. I'll need to size up to a 10 it seems.

I bought the original sense ride years ago in a 9.5 (the ones that said "vibe" on the sole) and wore them to nothing. Salomon had me hooked on their lacing system as I had started wearing their shoes every day. Last year I got myself a pair of the 4's to replace my failing originals. 9.5 was way too big so I dropped down to a 9. Again, I wore the 4's smooth on the bottom and loved them! When I saw the 5's were coming out, I knew I had to get them, especially with gore-tex now to keep my feet dry on rainy days. I quickly ordered a pair in size 9 (same as the 4's). When I first tried them on it felt like they were an 8! So tight and narrow. It seemed like the only thing that had in common with the originals was the massive tongue that worked fine with shorts but stuck out awkwardly with pants. Much different than the tongue on the 4's that laid down flat and worked great with pants. The sole also felt very different but promising. I have never tried on Hokas but that's what I thought that they would feel like as well. I reordered the 5's in a 9.5 hoping that this pair would save my faith in the sense ride line. Luckily, they did. They have now become my daily for the summer (I still won't wear them with pants). Overall I like the styling and sole. The only downfall was the pain to return and reorder in a larger size than my previous version.

Unfortunately these run small bought my size and unfortunately dont have an option to get ones that fit. Would need a size 15 in these.

I had been looking at these online for a while. Wanted to like them, but they were very tight and too small.

I've owned 3 pairs of Salomons, two trail runners, and one day hiker. They always fit perfect, but I didn't know ahead that the heel height of this model would be elevated above the toe so much. To me, they feel awkward, and I walk cautiously.

Love the shoes but insoles are so flat. Good that they're removable that I replaced them with inside arches like those fron asics.

This is a very good shoe. But they were only waterproof for the first two months.

This shoes although they look great, were to narrow for my feet. It hurt on the sides and I wish they were wider. It has pretty much what I was looking for but failed with the size they decided to produce.

I was hoping for a better fit. I really liked my old pair of Salmon. But these are really uncomfortable for me. I only wore them twice for a bit and it just hurt the middle of my foot. I looked at the return policy and not sure if I can even return them now. Sad because I spent full price on these and they are one of the worse pair of shoes I got fit wise.
