I just bought a new pair of these shorts, I've had multiple pairs in the past. I keep my phone in the front pocket a quarter of the phone hangs out, I know that eventually I will lose the phone. The older shorts had much deeper pockets. The back pockets aren't much better.

Front pockets are two shallow at the back of the pocket. I had my wife sew the back of the pockets up about 1.5 to 2" so I could put my iPhone in the pocket without falling out.

Front pockets are only 3" deep at the back of the pocket. Makes them only moderately useful. I had my wife sew up the back bottom of the pockets about 2" to make the pockets useful for holding my iPhone.

Arrived early this month and, on the third wearing, the waist button fell apart. Shorts now unusable.
