Very light and perfect for Florida weather , like the pockets also.

These are my 4th and 5th pair of these shorts. Excellent quality and comfortable. Love that they include belt. The only quibble is the side pockets are not very deep. Side pockets allow items to fall out, like phone, wallet, and keys.

Great shorts! My son got them in black and they are light, soft, fit true to size and look great. For reference, my son is 6'2" size 32, 34 inseam, and both 8 and 10 inch lengths looked great on him.

The men's silver ridge utility cargo shorts fit my husband perfectly. They are light weight and excellent for hot, summer weather. There are plenty of pockets to carry keys, a cell phone, wallet, etc.

Just bought these shorts and they are perfect. I have tried many other brands and Columbia fits exactly right. Not too big in the butt, the right length for average sized men, and with the comfort waist they are so comfortable. The material is light enough for very hot weather and they shed water as well. Will keep buying Columbia shorts.

I have always loved Silver Ridge shorts and converted pants . The new Silver Ridge shorts are great especially since they now come in 8 inch length which I personally prefer. Plenty of pockets for all my essentials. Well done Columbia
