Oboz. had a Labor Day sale and I wanted to try the waterproof mid Katabatics having recently gotten my first Oboz, the Katabatic shoe. The latter work fine, but, oh my, the waterproof mid boots are terrific and have been from the moment I took them out of the box and put them on. I wear a 12 but have a fairly narrow foot. (Thank you Oboz for making a womens 12 in nearly all of your models. They dont all fit me as well as the Katabatics. These mid waterproof boots are perfect for me (although apparently too narrow for others). They fit even better than the non-waterproof shoes. I always find the waterproof versions to be a bit smaller. The arch support is perfect and the insoles are extremely comfortable with just the right amount of give without being squishy. They feel sturdy but have a slimmer, more feminine look than some other boots of this genre. Outer sole is grippy but flexible. I can walk normally and dont feel as if I have boards on my fee. I can wear mid weight wool socks and without my foot feeling cramped. They are just more comfortable than the Katabatic shoe. Ive not tried them in wet conditions but water rolls off. Got the gray color and it is darker than it appears on the web. but pretty. Didnt need these boots but took advantage of the great sale and am so glad I did. Looking forward to wearing them a lot this fall and winter!

Love the laces and especially the hooks! The color is lighter than I expected, so I hope they dont get discolored. The fit is so comfortable with amazing support.

First time I bought a pair of boots and absolutely love them. Right out of the box they were super comfortable. These are now my favorite.

This pair of hiking boots is worth the money. I hike in all seasons and all conditions, muddy, snowy, etc. This boot keeps my feet warm and dry no matter the temperature (with a great pair of socks of course).

Recently purchased for hiking in wet sloppy conditions and so far so good. I'm not sure how long the waterproofing will hold. There is a tongue gusset flap which is rubbing on my ankle. Very uncomfortable on one shoe, which lowered my rating

I love these shoes! The low and mid! I work on my feet outside daily for 8+ hours and they are the only shoes that keep my feet from having bouts of plantar fasciitis!

I was amazed at how light the boots are, and yet so supportive. Ive been breaking them in before taking them on a trip - although they probably dont require that - they feel great.

They are great! I had a hiking trip and bought them just in time but didn't have time to break them in at all, but I didn't need to. I wore them three days in a row, each day the mileage ranged from 5-9 miles and they were so comfy straight out of the box. I wore them on two sandy hot desert hikes, and one cold, wet mountain hike and they had great traction on both.

Super pleased with these boots. They grip well, good room in the toes, and comfortable on my 12 hour, 11 mile hike. Light, waterproof, and size was true to fit.

I love these boots! This is my 3rd pair. Comfortable right out of the box with great support. I can hike miles in them.

These softer Oboz have been a joy to walk in. I haven't had to test their waterproof quality yet but I'm sure it will be good.

Plenty of toe room and the ankle height is just right. The laces are easily adjusted and stay put. I do wish there were more color choices. They're either too bright/loud or too drab.

These shoes are great. Everything you expect in a quality hiking shoe. Lightweight with great arch support. My wife loves them

I had the Sawtooth which i loved but wanted something lighter, discovered these and OMG fell in love. So comfy, no break in time. Was on a trip in Sedona, got them at a hiking store and was out on the trails immediately after leaving the shop. Highly recommend!

I needed a good waterproof supportive hiker that was not too heavy. These are tremendous boots. Comfort from the start and very supportive. I did have to size up 1/2 to get correct fit. Only negative is colors are "meh", but who cares when it comes to comfort!

War them 3 times and the last time was through the airport. I had to take them off 3 times and still ended up with huge red marks on my feet. Needless to say they will be returned
