They're alright, but they wear out too quickly and are too expensive

I purchased these leggings in Fall 2022 for cold weather activities. I used them 3 times and stored them in a sealed container until Fall 2023. I hand washed the leggings after each use with Nikwax wool wash. Upon unpacking the leggings in 2023, I noticed 2 tears in the crotch area. This seems to be a common problem with Smartwool 150g products. I had a pair of 150g boxers (left them hanging on a tree on accident) that developed holes in the crotch after ~4 uses. I also had an older pair of 150g leggings that developed holes in the crotch after ~4 uses. Shame on me for continuing to by the same product. I've included pics of the holes in both pairs of leggings.
