Great fit. Good for hiking. Kinda itchy.

Product ran small, so I needed to send it back.

Perfectly designed and made with flat seams and attention to detail including loop for hanging on hook. I usually wear Med or Large if I want it loose. This shirt in Large is too slim. I will order an XL next time. Also logo on sleeve makes it a too casual to wear as a dress black T shirt with a sport jacket. I'd suggest making a black optic without the logo.

Great purchasereally high quality with excellent attention to detail. It exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd note is the fit. I usually wear a medium and sized up to a large based on reviews, but it's still a bit snug in the torso and underarms. I'll go with an XL next time.

Great shirt. Great quality construction and a great woven pattern. Fits perfectly and is very comfortable.

I've only worn it a handful of times but it wears a lot better than any other shirt I have. I overheat fairly easily but this shirt is breathable while allowing me to maintain heat. I put it on while still damp from the wash and it quickly dried out and started feeling warm despite the cold water. It initially felt a little bit itchy but after a few hours of wear only felt soft.

Habe several of these. Work great as a tee and SS base.

I originally bought the tee shirt several years ago. I primarily use the shirt when vacationing since I can wear these tee shirts several days in a row without washing them. When I do wash these shirts there are on a gentle cycle or hand washed. Plus, they pack lite, dry quickly and pack small. On my recent trip, I notice several holes on one tee shirt despite taking good care of the shirt when washing and drying. Thankfully Smartwool offers a 2-year warranty. So an "exchange" was made. The shirt is used in warm and cool weather. Not hot weather. The color blends in well with everything else. I wish the shirts were more durable. They don't itch. The big downside is their expense.

I bought this tee as a gift to my 80 year old father who suffers from the cold and needed something slim but warm that breathed well that he could layer over or just wear by itself. In a nutshell - he loves it! The fit is good, it keeps him warm, or cool if the weather gets too hot and it's super comfortable soft wise. No itchiness just pure comfort.

The T shirt is too short. The fabric is wonderful. This is one of two that I bought as an experiment. I won't buy any more.

I have worn several different types of hiking tee shirts over many years of hiking and will say that these tees are the best ever! I went on several long hikes during the recent heat wave and of course I sweated a lot. However, these tees breathed very well and wicked away the moisture. As a matter of fact, by the time I got home, this very sweaty tee had already dried. I washed it on a very gentle cycle and was very happy that when it dried (I hung-dried it); it was not at all misshapen or pilled up, unlike some high-tech polyester tees or a competitor's tee I have had in the past. I was so happy with the performance of these Smartwool tees that I bought 3 more. Well done!

Didn't have the hang loop inside the collar like was shown in the picture on the website. All my other Smart Wool shirts have the loop. I returned the shirt.

Great everyday shirt and great for Summer, Spring, and fall.

I usually wear large, but the large was too big. I'm around 170 pounds and 5' 10". Great summer, Spring and winter shirt for everyday wear or outdoor activities.

Soft and warm. For the most part it fits good but I wish the sleeves laid down on the arms better. I'm 5'11" 180lbs 44" chest wearing a large and it's slightly loose on me.

Undergarment for skiing and shoulder season fly fishing. Superb warmth and comfort for blustery days. You could get by by wearing it as a t shirt for casual wear.

I have many of these in different colors. Perfect first layer in cool weather.
