I decided to switch from synthetics to wool for my hiking shirts. Advantages: More comfortable. Temperature regulating, even in rain (as I found out today). Doesn't smell. Disadvantages: Seems to take longer to dry, but since it insulates even when wet, not a big deal. Glad I made the switch. I also like the look of the smart wool shirts.

I use this as a summer work shirt and as a hiking / backpacking shirt. It breathes and absorbs and wicks the sweat very well. It's also a very nice casual tee. In fact, this shirt wicks and dries and stays odor free so well that you might forget to change out of it at the end of the day!

I have been on a years long quest to find a short sleeve shirt that fulfills my desire that it be light, airy, extremely comfortable, fit well and be easy to care for. This shirt checks all my boxes. I have eight of them. Today it was in in the 90's, and this shirt got soaked but dried fast. FYI

This is my go to shirt. I absolutely love the feel and how they fit around my shoulders. I am an athletic body type (though small like a fun size candy bar), so it is hard for me to find shirts that fit well on me. These fit great. The longevity is the part that is a bummer about Smartwool, but the comfort is all day.

Awesome shirt got the green one in a Medium. If you want a looser fit size up, I'm in between medium & Large and typically wear large but the M was a good fit. I wore the shirt cross country skiing and it was awesome, and I wear it when I'm out hiking. It's perfect for those adventures so I bought a couple more. Recommend for outdoor adventures

Great fit. Lightweight, quick drying and odor resistant. Bought it for sweaty work outs, but with its cut, color, and comfort it's unexpectedly became an everyday wear. Looking forward to wearing it in summer months for hiking

Excellent shirts for every use. Soft, warm, regulated. Travel, ski, hike, wear. Very nice. Wish the collar was a bit more snug.

Use frequently.

I wear this shirt to the gym and it is perfect for that. It is lightweight, it fits well and it doesn't get soaked in sweat like a cotton t-shirt does. The only downside is that it takes a little more care to wash it. I don't put my Merino stuff in the dryer, so it takes a few hours to dry completely. #sweepstakes

Husband very happy with Tshirt purchased for him. The fit was just right in XL. He is #230 and 5'11".

Underneath most shirts and ski mid layers

The fit and weight of this tee is tremendous. It is my go to all the time whether in Michigan winter or Tucson spring. It drapes well and seems to be very durable. Would like to purchase in OD (mil spec) green if available.

This I use for a base in the spring up here in the Rocky's

5'10 - 215lb, broad shoulders. Ordered a size up and it fits amazing as it is a slim fit shirt.

Excellent shirt/quality/fit through shoulders- but NEEDS 3 more inches on bottom to raise my arms.

I use it as a light/minimal base layer under button down shirts and micro fleece, and as a travel t-shirt.
