Great quarter zip. Even though they are meant as base layers, I like these as light sweaters on all but the warmest weather.

Great Quality Product

My dear husband of 58 years loves each of his Smartwool sweater. As the one who launders them, I cannot believe how resilient they are after repeated washings. They retain their color, shape, and warmth. Afterall, how can you find any other toasty sweater that competes? Each Smartwool item is well-worth the expense b/c the LAST!

I love this, and 100 percent will buy more in other colors when I can afford to. Helps me regulate my temp. Helpful when I tend toward too cold when sleeping, or my temp switches too much. Great layer or to wear as outer shirt. Looks great

Smartwool is my son and husband's go-to shirt. As the one doing the laundry, I am so pleased that laundering each one ALWAYS comes out looking precisely as if it came out of packaging. Smart is not strong enough term to the fabric's remarkable wear-ability. Additionally, the design is always in good taste for any occasion.

I own several of these and recently added a couple more. They are well made and attractive.

Great for year-around running in the PacNW

I use this as an under layer when bike commuting (about an hour commute), depending on the weather I'll use this or the heavier thermal version and they work great!

My husband has been wearing Smartwool's All-Season Merino Base Layers for years. I just ordered this item because of its warmth, fit, and its seasonal versatility. The comfort and the feel can not be matched.

I live by the Pacific Ocean and it gets cold at 7:30. This is the only shirt I grab.

This is a fantastic base layer! I use these shirts on long distance motorcycle rides. They regulate temperature and are very comfortable! I usually size up because I am not wild about "clingy" shirts. These would also be ideal for hiking and skiing!

Great lightweight merino base layer that can be used as a top layer on chilly days. Super soft comfortable. Only thing I semi-dislike is I wish the collar could be folded down.

This is the perfect layer for warmer temps. The merino wool is very comfortable, and wicks sweat. I love it!

So now that I'm in my 50's, I find that I get a bit colder than when I was younger, and this baselayer is the perfect piece of clothing. While I started wearing these all-season baselayers for backpacking for all the obvious reasons (wide temp rang, sun protection, minimal odor after multi-day wear), the wide temperature range make these base layers over a t-shirt perfect for everyday wear. I think I have one in every color now and wear them whenever the temp drops below 70.

This is my go-to base layer all year long - kayaking, x-country skiing, elk hunting or just hanging out. It's light weight makes it a perfect inner insulating layer.

Perfect year round weight. Very comfortable. I have gray and black ones. Would recommend as they breathe. The zip is a nice feature.

I mostly use it as an everyday piece of clothing with a vest. During snow season it was a great base layer for Nordic skiing.

Lighter than the thermal base layer 1/4 zip. I purchased the all season and the thermal version of this and can recommend both. They seem to be high quality and are getting compliments every time I wear it. Keeps me warm in Seattle.
