I love these base layers! Sizing is just what you'd expect and the fit is so nice. As a bigger guy, it's difficult to find larger size base layers that extend proportions in the appropriate areas instead of making the garment all around larger. Customer service also came in clutch!

I purchased the MEN'S CLASSIC ALL-SEASON MERINO BASE LAYER LONG SLEEVE in the Natural (ivory) color because its perfect for warm spring mornings and cool summer mornings when out for a run. Plus being wool, (88% Merino Wool, 12% Nylon) it naturally wicks moisture and stays odor free. Smart Wool did us all a favor by making a light color that reflects the hot sun. This long sleeve light weight base layer is a nice complement to the Shortsleeve one (also in Natural color)

This is my go to on any day that is going to be in the 60s or lower. I like that I can roll up the sleeves if needed, but I'm protected from the sun. This has worked as a great base layer in active times in the winter too, with just a puffy over it. I even bought a beige one to have on summer days to stay out of the sun. As with my other Smartwool, the longevity is not as long as others, but the quality is great.

great merino wool layer, whether your preferred trail is Pacific Crest, Appalachian, or just the Living Room to Kitchen. i own 2 of these, as well as 2 quarter zips and 2 short sleeve tees. i do think the little bit of nylon (12%) detracts from the merino wool advantages, but only a few points, and the added durability makes up for it. i look forward to testing this in all kinds of weather in the near future. a great layer for the PNW climate... supposed to hit 95* this weekend, but it rained at 50* last week. go figure! for size reference, i'm 6'3", 190 lbs, and the Large fits very well. it's not skin-tight, nor is it boxy -- just a good slim fit, without being too clingy or constricting. i'd appreciate another inch or two in the length, but it's surprisingly good as-is... especially the sleeves! they're usually too short for me on most shirts, but they're almost "too long" on this one. all in all, a good piece of cloth, especially if you can find it on a decent sale. great for everyday wear, versatile enough to cover a wide range of uses. #sweepstakes

I wear it as a base layer from early fall through late spring. Great product! It wicks sweat away, dries quick, and doesn't itch or absorb odors.

Purchased this for my husband for the colder months in Arizona. The fit is perfect and it is a nice, light weight to wear under a hoodie or other jacket. He mainly wanted it for early morning golfing weather.

Very comfortable and warm and the best base layer I've used. Wool does the best job wicking sweat and keeping me warm.

I read the reviews and others stated that the sleeves would "hole out". I have only wore it a couple of times and there is a small hole in the sleeve. I don't know how it got there.
