I've been wearing Smartwool for years now. I'm in residential construction and this base layer has such a wide temperature range for comfort that it has become my favorite shirt. Sometimes a new build with layers required, sometimes working in a finished home in just this top. This keeps me warm, breathes well and never stinks. Machine washes and drips dry super fast. Buy them! I've got 6.

My husband is a rancher and wears nothing but smartwool for baselayer in the winter! Its the best out there!

Great as a layer. Warm and comfortable. Also, doesn't get stinky when I am out bikepacking for a couple days at a time.

I'm 68" tall and slim, and find that the size small fits me pretty well. It's fitted, and arm and shirt length are long enough to not get pulled up when on the bicycle. I use this mostly while mountain biking in the PNW and makes an excellent base layer.

I purchased this base layer for my boyfriend, and he absolutely loves the color and feel of the fabric. It has become his favorite hiking staple, and he can wear it around town afterwards because odor from sweat is minimized. He is asking now for the ochre color!

I bought this base layer for my boyfriend, who LOVES the color. He usually wears a large and this size large fits nicely. He read recently that natural fibers are healthier for our bodies, so he is happy to have a base layer that he feels good about wearing. He loves the silky feel and weight, and is mow wearing it with everything, not just as a base layer for hiking and biking. I have several Smartwool tops myself, and nothing beats the breathability, durability and comfort of merino wool. My boyfriend will be ordering the ochre color as well.

Smart wool is the only shorts that keep me warm while working outdoors. They are durable and so soft!
