The sizing on Dansko is crazy. I have desperately tried every size available to me in the XP 2.0 because I have to have a shoe I can use my custom orthotic insole in and my podiatrist suggested I give a clog type shoe a try because of the 3 problems I have in my feet. Despite the swelling, I can't get them to fit in the width. I went down 2 sizes from the size recommended and they were still too wide and I was walking out of them. I usually wear a medium width in other shoes.

Unfortunately this shoe did not work out for me, I ordered a 39, which is the equivalent to a 8.5-9 and they were huge, I work 12+ hours a day on my feet and I was so let down that these didn’t work out! They were uncomfortable as well. I am going to go to an actual store to try on the shoes and hopefully I won’t run into the same thing.

I bought this shoe based on a recommendation from my foot doctor that I give the brand a try. Seems like it would be great if I could get a size that fits. The recommended size based on other shoes that fit great was a 39 but that sounded big so I also ordered a 38. Both were huge and I knew instantly they were not going to work. I was walking out of them—as in the whole foot was that loose not just the heel. I returned them and tried a 37 but that was too short and caused pain in a joint in my foot (which I have problems with but just had a steroid shot in a week ago and wasn’t hurting at all) almost instantly. I have to be able to use my custom orthodic insole so the professional style isn’t an option sadly and unfortunately this style doesn’t come in a narrow so I can’t try that. I wish there were more size options.

I've worn Dansko Professional all my life...same size (38 medium width) no matter the color or material. Wanted to try the XP 2.0 for the softer insole, rubber/non-slip sole, and lighter shoe. Loved them but sadly have to return them because they are much too wide- even with an insert it's still not enough to bridge the gap. So while the length and arch support area felt true to size and they are lighter and comfortable, the width is much wider than I expected and much to loose to walk comfortably/safely in. Too bad they don't make the XP 2.0 in a narrow.

I LOVE the new 2.0 Professionals. I am a teacher and I am on my feet all day. The lighter soles are excellent. I have been looking for NAVY PRO'S 2.0 and thought I was in luck. However, Dansko got the navy color wrong. : ( It's too dark and when they are on your feet they look black. It doesn't help that the sole is colored black as well. I hope Dansko tweaks the navy color this season. I'll be the first to buy them! Navy is challenging color to find!

This was my first order of the XP 2.0. I like the extra cushioning, but the shoe did feel much tighter and smaller than the dansko professionals. I ordered the filigree floral patent, which in the online photo has a distinct floral pattern. For me it was barely visible except for in a bright light if you are really looking for it. Otherwise it mainly looked like a shiny black dansko. I was thinking the shoe would break in and fit right. But after 3 hours of wearing it to an appointment that involved only driving and sitting in a chair - I noticed there was a small gouge in the patent. I had not noticed but the shoe had 2 small spots where the patent leather had a small wrinkle, and one of the wrinkles is what gouged on something. I expect dings after months of wear, not the first day. So I am grateful for Zappos wonderful customer service reps and their customer friendly policies. I was able to return the shoe, thank goodness, because it's too much money to spend for a shoe that shoes wear immediately. Likely it was just due to a defect of the patent having a wrinkle, but I have had other patent shoes with wrinkled overlay and they still look perfect after 6 months of frequent wear.

I saw a lot of comments about the sizing, so I was very weary from the start. I wear a sold 10 in US women’s sizing, and lean closer to wide. I also wear custom orthotics so I felt that the 40W was the right size for me. When I tried them on with my orthotics they fit like a glove. However as I walked around my living room I noticed my heels came completely out of the shoe with each step. Unfortunately, even after I removed my orthotics the heel was just too wide. I wish the back of the clog had been built just a bit higher. I had to return them.

I purchased the size that was recommended to me but unfortunately these were too small. The cushioning inside is really nice. They are also a bit higher than I expected, so I'm not sure if I will try these in a bigger size or not.

As a true dedicated Dansko wearer of 30 plus years I wanted to love the XP. The thought of a lighter squishier clog sounded ideal. However each shoe felt different, the left was fine but the right sloped outwards. Seems like a manufacturing problem. XPs got returned for the professional which I love.

These are supposed to be "better " thank the original Dansko XP. MY Danso XP's feel better than these do. The 2.0 creased right down the middle=, and the insole didn't feel nearly as comfy as my original XP's.

Huge!! I have the 36 in the professional series so I ordered a 36 in the 2.0. They are 2 sizes too big! Super cute, but I had to return them and they do not make them any smaller.. very disappointed because they are very comfortable but entirely too big!

I have been wearing Dansko Professionals for years. I decided to try the XP2.0, and have found the fit very different. First, the sole of the shoe is lighter, and offers a different gait than the Profeesional. Second, as with all of the Dansko these days, the size is not true. I purchased 2 pair, and they fit differently across the arch and in the heel. THEN, there is the toe box. The toe box is much more narrow than traditional Professional, and I found it very uncomfortable. These will be going back. Have had good luck with Sanita in the past, and I think I will give them a try

The right insole squeaked. The tooled style is rough on the inside.

I work in healthcare. I wore these shoes one day and could hardly walk by the end of the day. They are very hard and the heel is twice as wide as it should be even though I ordered narrow width. I wore the thickest socks I had and still could not keep the shoe on. I love the look but cannot work in these shoes. They are going back.

The size was fine but although it was a wide width, it felt very snug around the arch area. It would have been great if the width was wider. My feet are 4 ins across. If I had gotten a larger size it would have been too long because the size I got (37) had about 1/2 inch space in the back.

These are nice and light compared to the Pro XP, but the wide is not wide enough. Less wide than the Pro XPs. Had to return them.

I so wanted to love these danskos. I have 8 pair of the orignal professional danskos. I loved the extra toe box room, they did seem to run longer in length as well. Themaine issue I had was the arch support was more forward on these models. And their was a high heel like slope from the heel to mid foot that created mid foot and toe pain for me. Loved the look, but alas they have to go back .

wanted to try this new version. I wore danskos for over 10 years every day for work. I am on my feet 8 to 10 hrs. I stopped wearing them about a year ago. they were no longer comfortable. even a fresh new pair didn't do the trick. after several trial and errors of other brands, I found alegria to work for me. but I miss my danskos so I tried this new version. it was just ok. very sloppy on my foot. these run very wide even for dansko. the insole did seem a little more comfy, but after a little time around the house I new they wouldn't work out.

I have tried these Danskos in 40M, 40W, and 39W... and somehow none of them fit properly. My old Dansko 40M fit better, but their wooden foot beds are getting a little tough on my aging knees and ankles. I hoped XP's rubber/manmade foot bed would have a little more give. Unfortunately, the 39W were too short and the 40s were too long and quite loose in the heel and above the arch so that I sloshed around in them. I hate to say goodbye to Dansko, but they have apparently altered their last just enough to make them unwearable. Thanks Zappos for all the shipping and returning!

These were much smaller than expected. I ordered a size 42 and they felt like an 11. I wear a women’s size 12. They are lighter, but still clunky. I just can’t do a Dansko clog. I sent my pair back and went with a Clark’s brand shoe for half the price.

this new dansko traditional clog is a little lighter and the insole is somewhat softer but very much the same as the original. unfortunately, after 10 years of wearing the traditional dansko clogs for work, they no longer work. I began to experience pain in the ball of my feet and toes.always tried a new pair of dansko clogs every 10 monthrs but even a fresh pair no longer helped. I thought I would try this new version, but I started feeling the same pain. so disappointed. I wear other dansko styles in my casual life, just not the professional clog. I am now wearing alegria for work and other dansko styles for play.

Dansko clogs have always been a "go-to" for work. The tooling on this model gives just enough decorative style to make them unique. One of the unique aspects of this shoe is the removable leather in sole. The reason for the low "overall" rating is that these arrived showing some wear. The upper toe area of one shoe shows that it has been worn and bent. I love the ability to buy from zappos and ship free both ways when needing to return. However, I would expect that a returned item would be evaluated and offered at a discount if it shows wear or breakdown from a previous buyer. Because a dansko clog works well for work as I'm on my feet all day, I pay the price. I would, however, expect that for the price paid, the shoe would arrive without evidence of previous wear.

This shoe/clog felt like a dream on my feet. But the color in "Wine" is just not the richness of what I am looking for. Looked more pinky/orange than the burgundy I love in other patent leather clogs I have from Dansko. I spend many hours on my feet like every other RN and Dansko is forever my go-to for comfort and clog-sassiness. This pair goes back, but I keep my eyes open for other retailers that might have different options. Zappos, your speedy delivery is amazing!

I tried them and I wanted them to work for me given the reviews and such but, way too hard on my heels.

I returned these shoes. They did not have the classic square toe box of other Danskos. The shape of the toes was strange not round and not square.
