Compared to the XP: these XP 2.0 are narrower than the XP, have lower heel (which is better I think, because I often twist my ankle with the XP.) and are lighter in weight. The shoebox do stretch with wear, and I hope that it will stretch enough so I can wear these comfortably, like the XP. I normally wear 5.5, and ordered 35 in these.

I was skeptical that these would be any different than my size 42 XP from 5 years ago, but I was wrong. I wore them right out of the box for two consecutive days of 12 hour shifts and was comfortable the whole time. Lighter than the previous version with a cushiony footbed, I felt no leg fatigue. Very happy.

More arch than original XP. These overall are a better fit for me, snugger, lighter, and softer footbed.

I ordered a pair of these (Dansko XP 2.0) and a pair of waterproof Dansko Professionals. I like the Professionals much more than these because the arch support and sole are a lot more comfortable. The Pro arch and sole feel like they have more cushion and ‘give’. They also fit my foot better. I have very flat, low volume feet. Perhaps these fit better if you have high arches. Not sure. Other than fit and comfort, these shoes seem very well made. The leather is good quality and the black color and sheen of this style are very nice-looking.

I ordered these in Black Patent and returned them. Not only were they less sexy goth Margiela nurse and more goth clown, but I didn’t find the XP 2.0s to be any lighter or more comfortable than the plain ol’ Professionals – in face I prefer them. The XP 2.0s also squeak too much with each step! You already look clownish enough in Danskos, no need to sound like one too.

I have been wearing Dansko Professional and Dansko XP clogs for many years. They have recently started making my feet and hips hurt but no other shoe has fit or supported my foot in other ways that they do. I decided to try the Dansko XP 2.0. I had reservations on how much different they would actually be. They are quite different. The lighter weight is so much better and having a little cushioning seems to make a difference as well. Slight warning, sizing runs all over the board with these. I have a 38 and a 37 in the regular Dansko Professional and Dansko XP clogs. I ordered 4 pair of the black patent Dansko XP 2.0 in a 38 and not one of them fit the same. I then ordered a size 37 and they were way to small. Much, much smaller than my other Dansko clogs in the same size. I decided to try a different color and ordered the blue patent and the wine tooled patent each in a size 38. The blue patent was huge and the wine tooled patent is just right and more true to size to my other clogs. The fluctuations in sizes was frustrating, but I finally found a pair of 2.0's that work!

I've worn Dansko as a work shoe for years. Almost had to give them up, but then XP came on the scene and saved the day for my old, tired feet. I was no longer satisfied with the comfort, and was looking for something more lightweight. XP 2.0 to the rescue! More cushion, and lightweight! I wear a 43 in the XP, but had to size down to a 42 in the XP 2.0. Even so, the shoe feels a bit loose and my feet rattle around in them just a bit. Not too bad, but enough to take the comfort from 5 stars to 4. Love, love shopping with Zappos!

Hard to guage European sizing. The 11 too short and 11.5 too big. Regular width too wide. Wish came in narrow then maybe 11.5 would have fit. Beautiful shoe though. Really wanted it to work

I've had other Dansko clogs that I purchased several years ago. Something has changed significantly in the sizing of these shoes. The regular width now fits more like a wide and overall the clog just fits larger. Also noticed much more room across the top of the foot. Unfortunately, given the inconsistencies in sizing now on these shoes, I will be returning. Very disappointing. Am wondering if Dansko obtained a different manufacturer for their shoes? Giving 3 stars due to the fit. Quality of construction still seems good, but doesn't help if their sizing is off.

Have worn a pair for 10 yrs and was hoping to replace them. Two pair came both very large. I have always worn a 40 but these were much longer and wider. The new XP are so light that I was disappointed not to have a good fit.

Ridiculous. Don’t say it will fit 11.5-12 if it won’t. I wear and 11. Sized up and still wasted time, effort and money. Be honest. I wouldn’t have ordered them and wouldn’t be so annoyed with the site and seller if you would have just said you only make up to size 10.

I've been wearing Dansko for years and haven't changed size. Somehow, these run smaller than 'normal'? I am unable to return because I wore them. This is terrible because of the expense of these shoes.

Nurse here!! Wow, where do I start? Long story short these Dansko had to be returned and did not work out for me and I’ll tell you why but first, MAJOR shout out to Zappos for always having excellent customer service when a shoe doesn’t work out. It’s been a journey to find a shoe that will not give me pain after being on my feet for 12 plus hours at my job and Zappos has been so good! I finally bought these XP 2.0 after a fellow nurse recommendation. I had tried “regular” athletic shoes and spent countless of dollars only to have burning pain shift after shift. The clogs in the beginning were great, immensely alleviated the burning and I could tolerate being on my feet all day. Then, surprisingly, about a week or so later the top part of my right foot starts with “digging like” pain. I thought maybe they were just too snug so I took them to a shoe repair place and had just the right one stretched. No avail. No matter what I did, the top part of my right foot had tremendous stabbing pain so much so that I couldn’t stand to keep wearing them. The bottoms of my feet were feeling great but not my top right foot. I placed cushion pad on my foot and everything. Turns out, I have come to find out I have high arches and apparently a higher than normal instep especially on my right. These shoes, as others have stated, are not meant for high instep feet. I was so bummed because I really wanted these clogs to be the final answer to my pain but it didn’t work. In fact, I still have an area to this day on my right foot that is still swollen from the rubbing/stabbing and it hasn’t alleviated. It’s very strange. What I found out is I need the support of the clog but with a lace up type enclosure. Well, they don’t make such a thing after endless investigation and research. If you don’t have high arches or a high instep, then these clogs should be a god send to you. They definitely ARE comfortable otherwise. After calling dansko, I am now trying the the Pace Mesh. I do have tailor bunions on each of my feet and usually try for a wide width but they don’t make Pace in a wide but surprisingly I don’t have any problems with that. I do however, feel the same irritation to the top of my right foot and thinking it’s due to my high instep. So I’m trying to lace these shoes in such a way that will give my instep area some extra room. The bottom of my feet with the Pace are surprisingly comfortable. Pace arch support is very sturdy. So still on the hunt for the “right shoe”. This whole experience has shown me I have very special, screwed up feet!!

Run short! i've tried this brand several times but always find that they run short. I wear a ladies 13 narrow/medium. It's dificult to find stylish, colorful, feminine shoes in my size. Very disappointed they don't fit me.

These run short! They make cute shoes but every pair I've tried runs short. I wear a ladies 13 narrow/medium. It is very difficult to find cute, feminine looking styles and colors. So disapointed these don't work.

Generally this shoe fit in all the right places except one: it was too narrow in the toe box, and specifically it rubbed the inside of my big toes, even though there was ample space everywhere else, including at the end of my toes. Dansko clogs used to be my go-to. Finding it harder and harder to find a version that fits just right anymore.

XP style has bigger size in comparison to the Professional style. About 1 size larger for me. Shoe looks great but unfortunately had to return because I can’t wear them. So I can’t give feedback on comfort and durability.

I stopped wearing Dansko’s years ago because I kept rolling my ankles. I’ve been wearing Alegria (Debra) for 7+ years now, but I felt they were falling apart quicker than they used to. I have small bunions on both sides of my feet, so I always purchase wide work shoes, I don’t have meaty feet, but man I find these shoes to be tight. They hit me in certain pressure points like right at the top of my foot and right on the sides. For close to $160 (with tax) I don’t find these comfortable.

I've worn size 39 in Dansko for many years, these were much larger than my other 39 Danskos. They're "cloppy". Today I tried on a 38 in a local store, and the fit was much better.

Such cute and comfortable shoes! I used to wear these all the time! I wish they had better ankle support. I waited tables for about 11 years and wore these for long shifts and wore these out—many pairs! But I have an ankle that rolls/sprains if I’m caught on uneven surfaces. If these clogs were ever to come out with something more stable I’d still be wearing them. If you don’t have that issue I highly recommend these. I’ve turned now to Hoka One One shoes and Crocs for more stable support. Keens are good too.

I am on the search for a good pair of clogs. I am in healthcare and am on my feet majority of the time. I’ve tried Sanita brand clogs that can be compared, and loved the weight and feel of them; only downfall is the sizing for Sanita for me. I am in between a 6.5-7, and Sanita is either too big or to small. Dansko fits me perfectly in regards to sizing. I have to say that these clogs in comparison are much lighter, but for my preference, prefer a more heavier feel. When I received this pair of 2.0’s I had to exchange them because one clog was significantly more stretched out than the other. These are softer as well, and can foresee it being too loose for me in the near future. It didn’t take much time to break them in. Overall, I’ve returned these to try the Professional line of Dansko instead.
