I have several pairs of Danskos. This by far was the weirdest fit I have experienced. The heel box was SO much bigger than my other professionals and there was a weird nylon lining to the interior (not leather). These feel like a wide or a men’s size and won’t even stay on my foot. I am somewhat suspicious that they are knock offs. Thanks Zappos for the easy return.

These are horrible. Being returned. There is such a buzz about them but they’re not attractive looking, especially for a 21 year old nurse. They’re also not comfy. Maybe they needed breaking in more maybe didn’t give enough time but I bought these for my daughter and her second time wearing on a 12 hour shift her feet hurt so much especially on the top she had to take them off to drive home. And over priced as well

I don't understand how these shoes have gotten the reputation for being perfect for people who are on their feet all day. I tried them out at home for one evening and was in so much pain. They are hard and heavy and very loose. Returned immediately. They are also even less attractive in real life than in the photos.

I’ve worn Danskos for many years as a work shoe. I spend a lot of time on my feet and these shoes absolutely kill my feet! I’m so disappointed by the decline in quality of my go to work shoes.

The color was great in the photo but frumpy in person.

I don't understand how there are so many 5-star reviews for this shoe. They are so uncomfortable! The first pair I bought in my size I could walk right out of. They were so big. So I sent them back for a full size smaller. They are not much better. The back of the shoe is too low and my heel slides out constantly. My feet ache from trying to keep them on. And because I'm now wearing a full size smaller, the high arch in the shoe makes for a tight fit across the top of my foot. This causes me feet to fall asleep if I sit in them for too long. The leather is so hard it doesn't want to stretch or mold to my feet. I keep wearing them because I keep thinking that maybe they'll stretch or my feet will become accustomed to them, but it's been a couple months now and there's no change. These shoes are too expensive to pitch and now it's too late to return them I hate these shoes! I have an old pair of Ariats that are 1000x more comfortable and have been from day 1. I wish I could find their replacement.

It was perfect except for the width. I’m normally a 7 but thought a wider size would allow for thick socks, but no way! Just too wide, so I went with the 7 in a regular width. A very comfortable shoe overall, I am always satisfied with Dansko

I really wanted to love these shoes. So many people recommended them as I am a dog groomer and on my feet all day. However, after one week of wearing these 8-9 hours a day, I began to have terrible back and leg pain. I just don’t think there is enough arch support, they felt so hard on the bottom of my feet. I ended up buying a pair of slip on Skechers last week and after just two days of switching, my back pain has subsided. But the shoes themselves are really cute and seem like they would hold up well to water, dog hair, etc. I would just caution anyone who may have arch issues on buying these.

I bought these because I am on my feet all day and have horrible foot pain from plantar fasciitis. Well let me tell you, I didn't know foot pain until I wore these for several hours. They are heavy and stiff and painful. I don't understand how anyone wears these when they're on their feet all day. I would say my pain was 10 times worse after wearing these. Definitely NOT worth the price.

I purchased these solely based on all of the positive reviews. I am in a classroom daily and stand for 6-7 hours per day. I searched for professional nursing shoes and this brand came up. Wow, did these shoes hurt! Putting them on for the first hour was fine, but after that my entire foot ached. By the end of the day, I could barely walk in them. My 8 year old even noticed my altered walking after picking her up from school... it was a horrendous experience and I finally just realized that these Danskos were not going to work for me. So sad. I got to wear them 4 times and received many compliments on the style. I went back to wearing Clark's Cloud Steppers in a low key mary jane style and my feet were fine... even when keeping them on until it was time to go to bed!

These are very stiff and uncomfortable. I'm pretty surprised by all the great reviews. If I had tried them on in store, I would have definitely put them back on the shelf immediately!

Very disappointed in fit. I followed size guide and got what was supposed to be for my 9.5-10 foot but they were way too snug and uncomfortable over instep. Would not have been able to wear with socks either. Also, left one seemed much smaller than right and have never had that problem before. Was looking to replace pair of old wooden Swedish clogs, and think will get a new pair of those (actually have already done it and am happier with them; don't like plastic soles on Dansko). This is not a promoted review and am not member of Zappos rewards program (though they described me as such in previous review).

Super loud when walking!!!

I've never purchased Dansko before but was excited about these! I ordered the 36 and anticipated a good fit but unfortunately they were extremely large. I would say they were over a size too big and wide.

I had such high hopes for these shoes but was very disappointed. I wear a 9 in everything, but my toe hit the end of the shoe in the 39 and the 40s were ridiculously too big. I'll be sending both pairs back, and try another brand.

I love this pattern, and I was excited to try shoes that could help my plantar fasciitis, but I'm scared I will turn my ankle in these...they are very high soles. Also, one rubbed on my inner foot, even with thick socks.

i bought this Dansko (Prof Silver/blue Tooled Mule) as well as a Pro XP. The Pro XP fits close to perfect while the Professional is tight across the top of my foot and smaller in size. It rubs against the back of my heel when I walk, making it impossible to even try to get used to them. I will return that pair and try a size bigger.

I am so disappointed! I bought my first pair of Dansko's after hearing rave reviews about them from co-workers. The first pair I ordered were too tight, so I ordered a size up, and they were STILL too tight!!!! I think I may go to a store to get fitted so I can find my exact size. Lovely clog!!!

I chose these shoes after looking for footwear for people on their feet all day. Reviews I read seemed to suggest that these shoes were amazing and would end all foot pain. This may be true for others. I found these shoes as painful to wear all day as 4 inch pointy heels. They were hard and ungiving. I felt like I was wearing cement blocks on my feet. Additionally, the fit was very strange. They are on the narrow side, but did not keep my heels from sliding around or even out. On at least one occasion, the shoe flipped sideways under my foot as I was taking a step, so I'm also docking them for being very unstable. All in all, I was hoping for a comfortable, supportive shoe that would allow me to stay on my feet while reducing foot pain, I got a shoe that is hard as a rock, extremely uncomfortable to wear, and felt dangerous.

The color of blue was too dull and as this is my 4th pair was bit too large. Overall, I did not like the look of this shoe.

I loved the design of these Danskos. I absolutely love my old pair and they are great for wearing anywhere. I noticed that only the generic color professionals came in wide, but I was hoping that I could make these work with regular width. Definitely a bad decision and thus had to return them. I literally had to squeeze my feet into them and took serious effort to take them off. They were a beautiful color and design and Danskos is a great brand and quality shoe but they need to make the prettier designs in wide width for girls with bigger feet. Pretty disappointing, no fault of Zappos!

Were not comfortable at all. Very narrow. I will need 2 sizes bigger if I want these to fit. Returned them.

I ordered these shoes because I am on my feet all day and everyone seems to rave about these shoes. I opened the box and was so excited to have them! Big disappointment! They are extremely heavy, and they are rock hard! I don't recommend them unless you want to walk around with clumps of concrete on your feet. I don't understand the other people who rave about these shoes...but I tried them on in my house and within 1 minute couldn't wait to get them off. Sorry...not for me.
