I wear a 12 wide so that is what I purchased. Unfortunately, I couldn't get half of my foot into the shoe. Returned them. I will need to try and see if I can get a similar shoe in a men's 11 wide. the design was attractive though.

These were at least a full size too big and the coloring was much more yellow than the product image depicts. If they fit properly, I can tell that the comfort and support would be excellent.

I'm a size 11 and have been wearing 41 in Dansko for a long time. But the 41 in these were huge, flopping off my feet, and the 40 was too small. Have a coworker who also bought the honey color and said the same thing. So don't know if it's just this color, or the sizing has changed. Sad, because I need a new pair and am in love with the honey distressed color.

I want to love Danskos, I really do. They're just not comfortable for me. I have a high arch and these cut into the top of my foot (leaving a mark) every time I wore them. I don't mind the style of the shoe so much -yes it's clunky but I think that's to be expected. I marked these low for "style" primarily because of the color. I expected a true grey and these are much more brown than grey. I know many swear by Danskos so maybe they'll work for you - they just don't for me.

I tried on a black pair same size 38, but the fit was not the same. This pair was uncomfortable and not as cushioned. They also seemed tighter. I mainly purchased this because of the color, but it was way too yellow for me, plus the tips of the shoes were darker. Weird. On the dansko site, the honey distressed was more of a brown hue which was what caught my eye. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I have worn Dansko's for more than 10 yrs. First time ordering a pair on line. After much anticipation, my clogs arrived in 2 different sizes: Left 39, as ordered, the right in a 38...too small to try to wear. I still love Dansko's but will NOT purchase on line again. PS: Was a Clearance item...NO RETURNS!

Wore these around the house for 3 days, my feet were so sore! I am an RN and really had high hopes, bummer.

I was looking for shoes for work where I'm on my feet for hours. I know these shoes work for a lot of people, but they were not comfortable for me. Also, I seem to be between two sixes so this was a bit loose on me. I had to return.

Not the same fit as the Dansko Professional clogs I have worn and loved for many years! I am heart broken - these were my FAVORITES! I have them in a lot of colors - all in the size I ordered. These are too big and I'm I think the next size down will be too small. :-(

These are really cute, a little bit of patent in the pattern. I found them too stiff and rub my feet uncomfortably. I have worn several Dansko styles in the past but this one was not as comfortable. Will be returning them. Thanks Zappos for the return shipping!

I have been wearing Danskos for 12 years, always a size 39 and I have never had to "break in" my clogs. I bought a pair when I was returning to work after 4 years off. Right away I knew something was different/wrong about the shoes. They felt harder and stiffer than all my previous Danskos, and they gave me blisters, which was a shock and an immense disappointment. I found out about Dansko branching off from its previous business relationship with S and that Danskos are now made "somewhere else". Well, somebody downgraded the materials. So sad, Dansko, and so disappointed that I can't put my trust in this company to provide the support/comfort that I need as a nurse. $125 wasted. I bought the XPs in a 39 and they were huge! I could barely keep them on while walking. Guess I'll try something else...

If you want to twist or break your ankle, buy these! I have owned five pairs and kept hoping that I wouldn't sprain my ankle again but alas I have surrendered, no more! I have switched to the Alegria Seville and will never look back. I am a nurse in the operating room and am very physically active so Danskos are not the way to go if you have a similar job. Please take heed or I'll be seeing you in surgery to fix your ankle!

I've heard so many good things about these shoes...I work in a lab and wanted to love these so much. Unfortunately they are so uncomfortable! They don't really bend at all, so my feet are terribly sore at the end of the day, and my feet and legs are really swollen. I've gone back to tennis shoes.

They are extremely comfortable, and I wanted these shoes to work for me. They are very heavy though, and I suppose because of the weight or balance of the shoe I was constantly twisting my ankle in them. I've had my pair for nearly two years, and figuring I would eventually get used to them, I keep trying them. Finally, today, after twisting my ankle in them again, hard enough this time to actually fall on the ground, they went into the trash. They obviously are wonderful for a lot of people - look at the great reviews. But if you find yourself twisting your ankle in them, you're probably not ever going to get used to them. The thick soles that make them so comfortable and shock absorbing also make them like bricks on the feet I guess. At least for me.

I just received my pair of Dankso Pro XP shoes in the tooled leather (brown with an oiled finish) and they feel amazing. However, after wearing the shoes for just a couple of hours at my office job, they have scuffed abominably. Thankfully, Zappos kindly refunded me half of the money because they didn't have a replacement pair in stock. I just want folks to beware of this leather style because it obviously does not hold up well (cosmetically) to simple wear. I still love Danksos, and I definitely still love Zappos. But beware of the finish!

I had purchased my first pair of Dansko shoes about two years ago. I had got the patent leather ones they ended up splitting at bend of the foot. I contacted Dansko they very generously replaced them with a new pair. My second pair the toe has fallen right off. I'm very sad because I really like the way they fit. Unfortunately I won't be buying any more.

The fit of Dansko shoes has apparently changed. The sizing doesn't seem to be consistent and the parameters of the shoe don't seem to be symmetrical when on the foot. This shoe rubbed me in a spot that made them impossible to wear and still get through my 12-14 hour shifts. This is the second pair to have a problem. Looks like I get the tedious task of finding a different brand of shoe for work. That makes me truly not happy.

I have a similar pair of Danskos and was looking to replace them. Checking inside the shoe, I see that my size 42 professionals were made in China in 2010. I love them. I bought another pair immediately after purchasing the original pair. This new shoe looks to be the same shape -- but the toe box is shallower? tighter at any rate. I am returning them and wish that more info were given like that inside the Dansko shoes (serial no, date made, etc). I recommend Danskos to everyone. I may have to rethink that!

Dansko Nubuck bone Professional shoe, bone color only - This was my 5th pair of Dansko stapled clogs. The Nubuck bone was so tight, with no room at all. I had blisters on both feet. I returned them after wearing them one time. I replaced them with the Professional cordovan cabrio. True to size. I wear a size 8 so I order them in size 39 as well as the Dansko Sonja, not a size smaller but the same as the professional. Zappos sent me out a new pair without receiving my return first and did not charge me a second time on my charge card, trusting me to return the bad pair. Fabulous company I will only buy from Zappos from now on. Thank you, Tammy RN

Not for comfort!! These shoes look nice, run small, and kill my feet after I hr of wear. Had a friend try to break them in, she agreed with me. Don’t buy for comfort.

Why so popular? After being encouraged by many co-workers (nurses) I finally tried Danskos. I quickly sent them back, I guess the people I work with don't have chronic foot pain like I do and these were not the answer. They felt hard on my tender toes and felt like I was walking on tile for my tender soles. Only for tough footed nurses, I am not into extra pain.

I don't understand the hype - I am a medical student, and everyone was raving about the comfort of Dansko shoes on those long call days, running around the hospital for 30 hours straight. These were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn! I even wore them with socks, which is what had been recommended to me for additional comfort. The shoe is sooo stiff; my foot slipped forward with every step, crushing my poor toes into the hard toe box. I suppose the support was pretty good, but my toes were throbbing in pain after a few hours. Were these inspired by wooden clogs?

Not Comfortable - These shoes have no cushion. They are very, very hard on your feet. I actually can not wear them anymore because of it. They also run very, very small.

Sized too small - The metric size and the American shoe size does not match. Order one size larger than American size- example woman's size 11 order a 42.

A Disappointment - After all the raves about how comfortable these shoes are, I was sorely disappointed. They are extremely uncomfortable if I wear them for more than a couple of hours at a time, even though I feel that I have the right size. Anyway, I'm just going to get rid of them and buy some Birkenstocks.
