i have foot pain and the sole was too hard. it was a very supportive shoe but the sole just felt like steel and it didn't help my foot pain so i have to return them. The Bethanie helps my foot pain (and all Birkenstocks)

I wear a 6.5 and have 2 other pairs of Dansko clogs that are size 37. I ordered a new pair in a 37 and they were so big (too long and too wide) that they fell off my feet. I was so surprised. I have read several other reviews here that have experienced the same issues. Has Dansko changed their sizing or has their Quality Control been discontinued? However, I like them so much, I will probably try again in a while.

I love the shearling but this particular model is cut very wide and large. I have worn Dansko's for years and owned many pairs.

Terrible quality. Both shoes very worn in just two weeks of wear. Very disappointing because I have worn Dankos for years and have never had this happen that quickly!

I got these shoes because I am on my feet for 9 hours a day several times a week, unfortunately, wearing these all day eventually felt like standing on two rocks. The arch support is great but they are not comfortable or cushy at all. My feet ached half way through the day. Disappointed after all the great reviews saying how comfortable they are.

These will, sadly, have to go back. I have narrow feet and the heels on the shoes did not come up very high in back. I walked right out of the shoes and could see that heelf cushions would not make a difference. Still looking for a really comfortable nursing shoe.

I have been buying Dansko clogs for about 10 years now. I always get a 39 since I am an 8 1/2. They always fit perfectly. No breaking in ever needed.However, these shoes felt extremely tight and too small. I have swelling in my feet but I still always have had a good fit. So I am not sure if I should go up a size or go with a wide width or both. That being said I absolutely love these shoes! I am a nurse and I have nearly flat feet and they pronate inward. I used to have a lot of pain in my arches and heel. These shoes were a god-send. I hardly ever have foot pain now.

Dansko has changed. or maybe the nubuck has. Ordered my usual size in professional clog for 30 years and this shoe was very big. Back it goes.

Shoe would’ve fit okay, but was made way too wide. I had to return them. Very disappointed.

I work in a lab in a hospital. At first, I was so excited to get these! I loved the print and a lot of nursing friends had recommended this brand. I ordered two sizes and ended up keeping the 42 (US Women's 11.5-12), even though I am usually an 11 in running shoes. I went my the instructions in the listing for fit, plus the size down, my toes bumped the end too much. Anyway, I was told to break them in so they'd be comfortable. I think they were comfortable for a total of 2-3 days and then they just offered no cushion or support. I walk a lot at work so I switched to running shoes. The people who wear these must not be walking a lot or something and after wearing them, I wonder what the draw to these really are. I did try to give them a chance and wore them for about a month before giving up.

I ordered a size 40 which is what I have worn in other Dansko shoes but these are too big so that in order to walk in them I am scrunching my toes which is not recommended. I am in a quandary and not sure if I should reorder smaller or rethink it and order another brand. They don't have any cushioning but from what people report, if you get the right size they are comfy. So far I am not one of those people.

I was very excited to get these shoes based off of the ratings and what I read about the comfort and arch support. However, upon receiving them and trying them on, they felt very odd on my heel kind of like very floppy but the size was correct. The next problem was the width and the tightness around my arches on the top of my foot. I have high arches but nothing crazy but it was so tightly fitted that I would constantly have to take them off when I was sitting at my desk or driving my car because my feet would become almost numb. I love how they looked love how they fell walking on but I could not get past how tight they were across the top of my foot. Overall disappointed because of this.

For whatever reason, these run closer to a 9 than anything. I am usually fine with Dansko 39, as 38 is a tad too small for comfort. Even with socks, this style seems to run too big.

Got my foot in but it was TIGHT! I wear a women’s 12 and my toes were right up against the front! I wanted to love them but alas I’m back to good ol’ Brooks.

I have been wearing Dansko clogs for decades, as a restaurant professional. I live in them 40+ hours a week and I will always be loyal to the brand. However I was SO disappointed with this “oil slick” design. You would think that a brand that markets to professionals would create a product that can hold up to the regular wear and tear & cleaning of a professional. They were GORGEOUS when I got them. All my coworkers kept complimenting me! But, the first time I cleaned my shoes (after an incredibly painful break in week) using normal all purpose cleaner, the oil slick design COMPLETELY CAME OFF!! Like, the towel I used was black from the ink or whatever. So I returned them and got another pair, determined to be more gentle when cleaning. I used just water to wipe them off, and within 2 months the oil slick design had rubbed off/ disappeared. I kept this pair because in the end they are a fine pair of broken in clogs, but I am so sad to have spent the extra money on a design that doesn’t hold. You know who you’re marketing to, Dansko, do better.

The professional Danskos fit differently than the regular Dansko's. Not as much room in the shoe. Which, as a nurse, I love. Gives your foot some space to swell and not get blisters! Will have to try a larger size and see if that works.

The color is much more yellow than I imagined. Its is no where near the pretty brown color that I thought it was. Also too large, my other Danskos are a 36, so I got the same size in these and they were much too big. Thinking of repurchasing in a smaller size and hoping the color is different.

I have 2 other pairs of these shoes in different colors . Both the same size , had to return these because they were way too big .

These are too high and stiff feeling for me. I am not graceful enough to wear them. The wide is very wide. They are super cute. Not for me though.

Toe base felt short and low.

I had to return the Stone Waxy Burnished pair that I ordered. They do not look like the shoes in the picture. The color was different and they have texture to them that was hard for me to see on line. Also, they seemed to run big, as my foot floated all around in them.

LOVED these, and was sick that they did not fit. Really hated to send it back.

I ordered several pairs of this identical shoe a year ago, now when I order the same size, they are just too big. I've purchased four pairs in the hopes that there would be enough variation and I'd find the right fit, but to no avail. The 38s are too small and the 39s too big.

I don’t know but my knees have been hurting since I got these. My feet are now hurting to. This is very disappointing considering they are perfect slip on and easy to clean but having lots of discomfort

Not sure what has changed... I bought my usual size to replace ones that were several years old and I had to retire due to wear. These new ones are comfy to stand in, and have more toe room than my last, which is good because I am not squishing my big toe. But they keep falling off my feet when I walk. I wish I had the others to compare because I suspect the foot of the new shoe is further forward, meaning they don't cover as much of the top of my foot, so the space is larger and my foot falls out. If I don't walk carefully, the whole shoe flips right off my foot - both sides! I pray that with some wear they'll stick inside better. But it's annoying.
