Great for warmth and water proofing and comfort, but the traction is ify; on dry, loose snow traction is good however on hard pack snow or wet surfaces be careful because it is like walking on an ice rink.

I found these snow sneakers to be way too stiff to be called sneakers. The stiffness made my feet ache after a few hours. Not for me.

While these shoes were as warm as I had hoped, they hurt. It's not just that they're narrow, but the shoes seemed to be squeezing a nerve in the sides of my feet. Unbearable pain, had to return.

These are decent sneakers. I'm just happy they started making more shoes in wide widths. Though they get TOO warm when wearing them. And they are definitely NOT waterproof. First rainy day in the city my socks were wet within 5 min of walking. I didn't step in any puddles. They just leaked through from the falling rain.

Strangely built show. The heel is the widest EE heel I've ever encountered. But the toe box is extremely tight not only side to side but top to bottom. Really squeezes the toes.

Size runs very short and narrow. My hiking boots are size14E with room for thick socks. These shoes were sized as 14EEE. In thin socks, my big toe was hard against the toe of the shoe; width was painfully tight. The heel is weirdly elevated....like wearing heeled cowboy boots.

When I received the shoes I was happy with the purchase. I used them for a few days at work and around the house and they felt good, I was happy. But then one day after work I went for a 3 mile walk on the bike path and my left heel was rubbed raw from the shoe, right foot was fine. There seems to be a plastic piece in the heel that either wasn't installed properly or was defective. Either way since it was only the left shoe I figured something wasn't right and returned them. Size was a men's 13

Very narrow toe box for 2E, fit like D width at best

Foam on bottom of shoe began separating after one week of use. LLBean quality does not seem to be what it once was, sadly.

I am a size 11.5 wearing Brooks or Asic sneakers. I purchased this shoe in a size 11. This was suggested by Bean since there are no half sizes. Unfortunately, while the front of the shoe was a good fit the back of the shoe would not stay on my heel. My heel was constantly slipping out. I had to return them. I think if you have a larger than average heel these may work for you.

Very stiff, uncomfortable and not warm Size is off

My husband tried these in the store and they fit fine. When he got home and tried them on again, the side of the inner tongue ridge fold on one of the shoes dug into the top of his foot. Sadly, back they went .

Wore maybe 3 months in the past year on the weekends. Sole has already separated from the rest of shoe. Not from wear and tear- still is good shape otherwise:(

Shoes run small,especially in the toe box. I bought a size larger and wider, but the shoes where still too tight. I am returning them.

I returned them 2 weeks ago, didn't get an acknowledgement from LLB, so called today & LLB said got it & credited me. Had to give a rating or this email wouldn't go, so gave it a 1 for service

There is a hard ridge near the heel below the softer back collar or rim. It constantly rubs and caused a large blister. The construction is different than my first pair which were very comfortable. I'll be returning them .

My foot measures 11.3 inches heel to toe and is narrow. I normally wear a 13 regular. Last years model was a narrow fit but I get by with a thin dress sock. This year I ordered the new wide model 13 and it is narrower than last years regular. Next I tried the 14 wide and its a no. Ordered a competing brand and they will work. I will try again next year.
