Love these shoes! Comfortable right out of the box, no break in period needed. And they look great too. I have three pairs in different colors. My go to sandals. Black look fine with dressy or casual outfits.

I was able to immediately walk long distances in these sandals without having to break them in. They are so comfortable and I love the color. They are my new favorite sandals.

Comfortable in every way!

These are so comfortable. I think they’re cute-ish too… or at least not old woman style. I tore my Achilles a few years ago so I need comfort but I hate to give up style. I’ve worn them twice and both times i got a compliment that my shoes were cute. So I’ll take that as they’re not too “comfort looking”. I wear a 9.5. Almost never a 10 and not often a 9, so i ordered the 9 and they fit great.

These are the best sandals I've ever purchased. I followed a previous review that I saw of these and ordered the size up since I was in between sizes. These are absolutely perfect! I have a feeling these will be my faves this Summer.

Fit and construction were great. I returned because I need a stark white shoe, and this is a creamy white. Was labeled as white, and photo wasn’t clear.

A perfectly comfortable, and attractive sandal. These sandals have a highly placed ankle strap that secures the foot for those with injured ankles. These sandals are supportive, and I love that they can be put on quickly with the Velcro closures. Thanks for a great sandal that solves the support needed for my torn ankle ligament.

My favorite pair of sandals to wear with my summer dresses! I bought the sandal without the backing because I did not know these were available; these are much more comfortable to wear! Highly recommended!

This shoe is the best! I bought the one without the backstrap a couple of years ago and like the style; I did not know it came with this back strap so when I saw it at a store I wanted to purchase them but they did not have my size. I found it on Zappos and they arrived timely and I LOVE THEM! I have a standard size 8 foot and it fit perfectly. It's nice they have adjustable top and bottom straps so hopefully if you're a standard (medium width) size, it will fit! Would highly recommend. They are comfy. I can wear with dresses.

I have always loved Taos Footwear. They are made of real leather, are comfortable out of the box, and last a long time.

I'm normally a 7.5 wide or 8 regular. I ordered size 7 wide and it worked for me. I wasn't too sure about the velcro straps but after wearing them for a 2 week European trip I didn't have a problem with them at all. Very comfortable and easy to dress up or down.

First of all, it's really a thrill to open a new box of Taos sandals. They are packed as if somebody really loved them. And I reallly love this strappy sandal! Took a while to get it adjusted just like I like it, but they are extremely comfortable and supportive as well as good looking. I'm a Southerner, and down here we have a hard and fast rule--NO WHITE SHOES before Memorial Day or after Labor Day! That being said, these white shoes are just a tiny bit cream colored, and with the tan footbed and sole, I think I can cheat on both ends of that rule. In other words, just like shown on Zappo's site, they are not bright white. Anyway, they seem very well made, look and feel great. I think I'll be enjoying them for quite some time.

This is mt 3rd purchase of Taos shoes. Like the others, they fit well, look stylish and my feet feel like they are on a cushion with the padded foot bed. The straps are adjustable. My foot is a medium and they adjust well to my foot and ankle

These sandals are perfection! Most important, they do NOT hurt any part of my foot. The strap across the little toe is wide, which I like. Narrow straps at that point always cause friction on my toes, resulting in blisters or sores. The adjustable leather bands let me fix the straps just where I want them. I will only buy leather shoes at this point in my life because leather is soft and flexible. These LEATHER sandals are just that...soft and flexible. AND NOTHING HURTS!! The footbed has a nice moderate arch support, and the sole of the shoe is black, which is my preference. With a size 10 foot, you don't want to "highlight" it even more with a white sole! I may be buying more of these sandals, in other colors. The sandals are well worth the price, if you value comfort and style!

I have always had good luck with Taos sandals and shoes. As well as being comfortable, the pewter color and style of Big Time make them appropriate for wear with a dress.

There was nothing wrong with the sandals -- actually very attractive. Returning them just because they weren't a design comfortable with my high instep -- strap cut into my foot near ankle.

First time ordering Taos. Oooooh, so worth the price. They are comfortable and sturdy for my old feet. Yes, vey expensive, but sometimes you have to spend for good results. The red is cheerful and makes my feet happy. Velcro closings allow for personal setting.
