Was extremely excited to see that Teva created a bootie style shoe for river trekking.to keep out the pebbles. But after only a few minutes, my ankles developed cuts from the plastic strapping ring. I had to stop using immediately and plan on returning asap. Very disappointed and not sure how product testing didn't reveal this.

My husband bought the shoes for a vacation trip to Hawaii and was really excited about them. The shoes looked great, felt great, had great traction. What could go wrong? Well... it was most disappointing for him to use them the very first time, and, after rinsing the sand out of the shoes at the beach spigot, find more sand in the shoes. Rinse, put on, find sand; repeat. No amount of flushing the shoes would get all the sand out, and walking around with sand in the shoes is begging for a blister. They had to be returned, most regrettably.

Not for me. They're hard to put on. My feet get hot wearing them. I thought with mesh they'd be cool. But they're not. Sandals should be easy to put on. Slide your foot, then fold one strap over. These are far from that. They need to go back to the drawing board with these.

Too narrow for bunioned-foot -same size that worked previously in another style. Suggest: Wear yr new shoes inside before you take a long walk so you have recourse - lesson learned. They *look* like they'd be very comfy if the width works.

The shoe itself is very comfortable. The only reason I'm giving a one star is because I wore them on a hike while on vacation that also required me to go into water. The shoe didn't give me no problems walking, climbing or in the water either. They didn't weigh me down at all. The only complaint I have is when I got back to the hotel I rinsed them and put them outside in the sun to dry when I woke up to wear them again they weren't dry inside and they also had a weird smell like when you leave something in the dryer overnight. I was a bit confused being that they are meant for the water I figured they would dry fast but they didn't. If it wasn't for that I'd give these shoes 5 because everything else is great.
