Let me start by saying I would have given a 5 star review. I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I have owned them since September. I have gotten so many compliments on them and have recommended them to others. - but sadly - same as other reviews- the toe area has started to crack. They have not been in any extreme conditions - only normal use.. I wanted these shoes because of the quality of LL Bean products - but now I am disappointed that the company no longer stands behind their products. I am so sad. I do not have the receipt as they were bought for me as a gift, so according to your new policy I have no recourse. Such a shame.

I wanted to love these. I had one pair and wore them daily and within 6 weeks the top started to split where your toe joint is from all of the flexing. I returned them and received another pair, thinking it may have just been that one that was defective. The second pair split as well within 4 weeks in the same spot. They are super comfortable but there has to be a design flaw or the rubber that they use is not as flexible as needed. The shoes would be good for someone who only wears occasionally but it you want to wear daily, forget it. Hopefully, they can redesign these. They are onto a great idea but need to fix this fatal flaw.

I ordered the size I always wear, but I wasn't able to use them, as they did not fit. I never even put both on, let alone wore them anywhere. Still waiting for my refund, as they were returned in perfect condition. Not sure why I got an email asking me to review them...... Happy to oblige, however! I've been waiting so long for the refund that I don't even remember whether they were too large or too small.

I bought these shoes just over a year ago (Dec 22) and have loved them since. However, as I have worn them, cracks developed across the top. Now they are also pulling away from the sole. I haven't done anything unusual other than wearing them in the rain and snow (and they were fabulous in both). If they had not start deteriorating so soon into my ownership of them, I would be giving them 5 glowing stars.

I'll never learn. If a person wears a half size, they can't size up or size down and expect the shoe to fit! I believed the manufacturer when they said these bright yellow slip ons would work for my 9 1/2 size feet even though they only come in whole sizes. Don't fool yourself or let them fool you! It's false advertising.

I have 3 pairs of these. I bought 2 more after buying the first pair and now wish I didn't. They cracked on top and the sides started to come apart but they were past the under a year purchase so there was nothing that could be done. I also bought 2 pair of the mid size for my daughter and had to return both due to poor construction and the soles coming apart. Fortunately they were within the timeframe for return. I am very disappointed in the quality that LL Bean is selling with these items.

I bought these rain shoes from an L.L.Bean store and loved them they were comfortable out of the box. Sadly they are not worth the money since they cracked within a yr of buying them. I didn't wear them alot so I'd say it's a quality issue. They are cute and comfortable and before they cracked I like wearing them in my garden.

I was so excited about receiving these, as my previous pair had worn out. This pair was a HUGE disappointment. Too large, clunky, and very heavy. They had to be returned.

I received these as a gift last Christmas. I haven't worn them all that much but the leather is cracking on the top of the foot. I had my previous bean boots for almost 10 years before they started to wear out.

Unfortunately these are just not a very durable pair of shoes. I have only worn them a few times since purchasing and they have cracked all over the top and split along the sole. They are not waterproof. My feet are soaked within 100 meters of walking. Overpriced for the quality!

Had these just a few months and they developed cracks, my feet were soaked inside the foot bed... really surprised. Return was fast & easy, at least!

In the first few months the color faded. I got them out on this rainy day only to find the fabric had cracked in the toe box. I wore them in the rain and the right foot leaked.

I returned these boots. Even wearing a heavy sock they were too wide. They were also very heavy.

Bought these in April 2022. Absolutely loved them. Very comfortable, kept my feet dry and they looked good. About ten months in, I noticed what looked like a crack stsrting on the left shoe near the widest part of my foot. Shoes were still waterproof at that point. When it got a little bigger, I took them to my local Bean store (Oak Brook, IL) I was told I was just outside the return window. I said I could understand if I simply wanted to return them, but the shoes were poor quality. No dice. I also emailed customer service and never received a reply. I continued to wear the shoes. Now they are leaking and cracking in multiple places. Last time I wore them on a dewy morning in June, I came home with soaking wet feet. I'm writing this review because although you may love them at first, you'll probably be disappointed in the longevity of these shoes.

These weighed a ton and were very hot. I returned them.

I purchased my 1st pair 12/22 and was so disappointed when the uppers and sides cracked and my feet were wet. LL Bean was great replacing them in 04/23 and today 07/23 I am returning the second "cracked" pair for refund as I have no confidence that another pair would do any better. I purchased these to work in my garden and sadly they did not do the job.

These are 1 month old and already have several cracks in them. They are not water resistant. Not worth the money.

I bought these in March for gardening and spring work on the horse farm. By the end of April the rubber was cracking on top where your toes bend and the sole was separating below this area as well. The material and design of the upper is not compatible with the heaviness of the lug sole so the whole shoe twists your ankle sideways if you step on something uneven. The sole also picks up rocks and dirt and deposits them in a trail onto the porch and mud room. I am sending them back.

I bought 2 pair of wellies 6 months ago. One for me and one for my husband. They are very comfortable. However on both pairs the upper shoe is separating from the sole not just a little but the whole length of the shoe on both sides. Also there are splits on the top of shies that go right through to the inside. You can put your finger in them. Don't waste good money on these really badly made shoes

In my experience, the quality is so poor, I recommend that you remove this product from your catalog; it is not up to the standards that we expect of L.L. Bean products. Within weeks of purchase, I noticed crease-like stress lines forming on both shoes in the upper rubber in places where the foot bends in a natural stride. By month 2, cracks had formed allowing moister from damp grass to permeate the shoe and leave my feet wet. Please note that there was no excessive wear. I purchased them to keep dry feet when walking my dogs in the early morning dew and only wore them for brief periods in a day. They were stored at room temperature.

Heel was so big I could put my entire hand in between shoe and foot. Material didn't seem substantial enough to last

Purchased these a few months ago. Loved them at first but now one of the shoes has water seeping through where the sole meets the upper. I wear them every day in the yard because its muddy and wet. I rinsed mud off of them and ever since water seeps through. Not happy.

Shoe is already falling apart. The seam is loose from the sole. I had hoped for better quality with this brand.

The reviews said the shoes ran large, I did not find that to be true . I needed a half size and it was not available they only came in whole sizes. Shoe was too tight I had to return them.

I love the look and feel but quality is very low. The top is crackling and upper separating from sole after only a couple years of limited wear. Very disappointing.
