Quality was great. However, Size 8 was too big and Size 7 a tad too small. lf only half sizes were available....

They are adorable but the heel was really big on me and I dont have this problem with shoes in general. Also they are a bit heavy so if you were going for a long walk or hike they might be too much. I returned them.

I don't usually write reviews and am usually very happy with my LL Bean purchases, BUT these shoes have been frustrating. Based on reviews, I initially ordered a size down. These were too short, so I returned them for my usual size. The length in my usual size is fine, but the heels are really wide. (I do not usually have problems with heel fit.) I wanted these for farm chores, but after trying to use the shoes for a few months I give up! I have nearly twisted my ankle several times because my heels slip so badly from side to side on even slightly uneven ground. While the treads are rugged, they are wide enough for gravel to lodge in them, which I find annoying. I will have to find some other slip-on, waterproof shoe with a decent tread before I actually sprain my ankle wearing these!

These are very comfortable and supportive. However after 5 months they have cracked across the top and they are not waterproof. Good for dry summer weather.

These shoes are good for yard work, short walks in the rain, dog parks- but they are not waterproof for puddles and heavy rain. I see little air bubbles at the seams of my soles when I step in puddles and then minutes later my feet start to feel moist. Also, the tread on these shoes provides storage for lots of pebbles (not a deal breaker for me, but it can get annoying). Otherwise they are comfortable, easy to put on/off, and stylish. I wear a size 6.5 and the size 6 fits comfortably with winter socks.

Great rain shoes, great fit, and style. However I noticed they began cracking across the tops of the shoes and now they are no help in wet weather! Almost $100 down the drain!

Fit pretty well. A little loose in the heel for my foot. Heavy but this makes them sturdy. Tread is so thick that dirt sticks in the treads and then tracks it all over my porch. This also adds to the heavy feeling of the shoe.

Whereas I liked the boot, it ran a little big so I bought a fleece insert because I didn't want to send it back. That helped but when walking around the house I was hearing a popping noise coming from one boot. Sadly I returned because I couldn't deal with a shoe making a noise. Otherwise, cute boot I wish they carried in the store so I could test another one.

these shoes run big. sent mine back for exchange and have not received smaller size, so cannot review. I wish lab was quicker processing returns.

Loved them but way too big - had to return. Order at least a size down if considering these. Great shoes though.

I am surprised and sorry that these boots didn't work out for me. They LOOK nice--I ordered the grey--and they slip on beautifully. BUT...they are heavy, clunky. I wish that someone would produce a lightweight boot like this in more sizes. I just want to walk to the mailbox (a long walk) in bad weather. My normal size is 5.5.

Wore this shoe for 2 winters/spring and was happy until they started to crack on the top of the shoe. They were not worn hard, just to and from work where I would change into work shoes.

This is exactly the waterproof shoe I need -- great traction, low rise, warm but not insulated. This is the third pair I'm returning due to leakage. This time, it only took 10 days until failure.

I bought these a little less than a year ago and the left one cracked just above where the toes naturally bend. Very disappointing because they were comfortable. I ended up tossing them because I did not have a receipt at that point.

my first pair cracked around the toe box after several months. LL Bean replaced them and the second pair also cracked after 5 months. if these shoes were durable they would be an fabulous garden shoe.

They are well made and the suggested size/fit was accurate however they are just too heavy for me. They are too uncomfortable to walk in because of their weight.

I've been looking for a pair of rubber boots/shoes for spring. I like the look of these, but the soles are very heavy and I thought I might trip so I had to return them.

I had them for about a year and they crack when you bend your foot at the toe is cracked and looks Horrible now, they only last to look good a few months and then the ware

Love everything about these, EXCEPT, the uppers are cracking where my foot bends, and I have only been using them on a daily basis for 4 months. I have worn them in the mornings to take my dog for a short walk. As you can see, the right shoe is cracked, but you will need to zoom in to see the left side is also starting to crack.

I really loved these boots until they started to crack on where you Ben your toes to walk. The glue around the sole of the boot also seems to be separating. Disappointed.

I had my Wellies for two months and the top cracked at where my toes bend when I walk. I exchanged them for another pair because I really do love them. Waiting for the new pair to arrive and will see if the second pair does the same.

My toes froze in these boots with wool socks riding in the car with the heater on. I was hesitant to buy them, until I read they had a super thick sock liner. There is no super thick liner in the boot. They are only fine on a warm rainy day. My toes froze on a 56 degree day in January. Never should have bought them.

I bought these in late June and love them only wore them maybe 10 times and I noticed that the waterproofing upper is already peeling from the sole

second pair I've owned. both times they cracked across the top near the toes. disappointed.

Unfortunately the boots have tears around the bunion area. Very disappointed.
