These Wellies are sturdy and comfortable. They are easy to get on and they provide a good grip on icey or muddy ground. The toe on these Wellies is pointed and thus longer than my usual, more stubby shoes. My personal preference would be for a toe that is more rounded, but I am pleased with these Wellies, nevertheless.

These are very comfortable. Getting even better with wear. I ordered my usual size but had to put an insert in because they run big

These are very nice shoes for the wet weather. I loved the bight yellow color & that I could put my own orthotics inside. They are comfortable & cute.

After reading all the reviews I down sized to a 7, my normal shoe size is a 7.5. I really wanted this shoe to work but it is a full size to big & very wide. Sadly I have to return.

They run large and the instep is big also. I have good arches and the rubber lining didn't hug my foot. Sad to return them.

When I received these Wellie slip ons I was impressed by the style and design. However, the sizing/width is off. I tried different insoles, some instead of and some in addition to the original insoles without success. My feet were swimming, especially in the heel. I so wanted them to work, but alas and alack, it wasn't to be.
These might work for some, but they need to be tried on to be certain as they do not have a standard fit.

The Wellie Shoe slip on was what I wanted for walking on local sidewalks when wet. However, I found this shoe hard to get my foot into. Unfortunately it didn't work for me and I returned. Otherwise good quality shoe.

These Wellies were offered at an incredible sale price a while back, and since I had been looking at them for a long time, I jumped on the sale and purchased them in the beautiful and versatile color, River Rock/Silver, which is no longer offered. I wore them walking my dog, gardening and to field sports events. People commented on them, saying how comfortable they looked. They were comfortable, but a little too big, so I added heel liners and wore thicker socks. So, 18 months later, the righthand Wellie started "smiling" at me, and I noticed moisture was getting into the shoe. The right one also got a row of splits where I was flexing my foot. I'm disappointed in the quality of these; however, they're so comfy, I'm going to try Shoe Goo to repair them. Incidentally, I have a pair of L.L. Bean duck boots (gumshoes) from the 80's -- no Shoe Goo needed for them!!

Sturdy, but too big even with inserts and not as comfortable for real walks as I had hoped.

I bought these in yellow in March '24. They were good up until February '25 when I noticed the rubber had ripped near the sole in about a 3" slash. I used these only to take the dogs out when the grass was wet/hurricanes. The size worked well - a little lose without socks, perfect with. Being in the backyard only with them, I don't believe I ran into anything that would have cut them. It is almost like they tore away from the seem. I even rotated them with a pair of higher boots when necessary so didn't wear them every day. I was very disappointed in this LL Bean product.

This is a nice well constructed boot. The fit was good and the style is attractive and still practical. Unfortunately I had to return it because the boots were too heavy for me. This wouldn't be a problem for most other people though so shouldn't be taken as a negative. I have a minor mobility problem which causes some problems in walking and too heavy a boot can be difficult.

I bought these at the end of August to take to Ireland. They served me well at first. They're REALLY comfortable and I walked between 6 and 13 miles/day in Ireland. They kept me feet very dry! I have continued to use them once I got home whenever the ground was wet or we had precipitation. Today (Nov 21st) I noticed that the upper rubber was separating along the seam from the shoe bed. I am so disappointed with them only lasting a meer 3 months! They should have lasted a lot longer! Thinking twice about buying another pair.

The shoes are very heavy and clunky. I expected them to feel lighter on my feet.

The Wellie leaks water where the elastic meets the outer shell of the boot not great for dog walking in inclement Midwest weather

I bought these shoes three months ago and LOVED them! I had to size down, but they were super comfortable after being broken in and perfect for morning walks when the grass was wet
I had seen reviews that the rubber cracked for some and hoped that wouldn't happen with mine. I even made sure to keep these inside as much as possible so the sunlight wouldn't damage them.
Unfortunately, after three months of pretty minimal use (10 minutes walks in the morning), the rubber did crack! It was small at first, but got worse to the point I was afraid to wear them. I was super sad to return these. Hoping LL Bean can use better materials for the next generation of Wellies because I would love to try another pair one day.

These were comfortable when I first tried them but after wearing for an hour or so I realized that were just too big. I wear a 9 but these were more like a 10! The heel slides up and down and my whole foot slides forward - ouch!

I bought these back in September 2023 and just tried wearing them but they are way too big for my feet, size 6, shoe was more like a 7 or 8. I gifted them to my friend who wears a 7 1/2.
They are beautiful shoes and really great quality but too big for me. Bummer!!

Ordered an 8 my regular size. Fits in length and width but is big from the inside bed of the shoe to the inside top of the shoe. Have to wear 2 pair of socks, not real happy about that. A 7 would be too short

While I absolutely loved the look of these shoes, my feet are skinny and flat, so wearing my normal size didn't work for me. The length was great, but I would have needed several pairs of socks for the girth to work. I was disappointed for me, not for the product.

These shoes are darling (I got the yellow ones) and they seemed like they would be perfect, but like other Bean shoes and boots I've tried, they're too wide in the heel. I don't have that problem with any other brand. The other thing is, I wanted shoes that I could slip on without fiddling with them. These have that fabric insert, and it folds down when you slide your foot in, so I had to reach down and pull it back up. For those who wouldn't mind that, these would probably be great but they don't work for me.

Well made and good shoe for hiking in spring muddy conditions.
However, the sizing is way off. They are a size bigger than listed - the toe is way too big.
I've kept them but have to wear at least two heavy socks at once to be able to keep from slipping out of them.

Great waterproof shoes, but run big, loose in the heel, but fit okay when I wear thick wool socks. I'm usually a size 10 but could have gone down to a 9 1/2 if they offered half sizes. Also, shoes are quite heavy, doesn't bother me, but might others.
