I bought a pair for my mother, who said she liked the fit, warmth, and grey/pink color. It was her first pair of LL Bean winter boots. She felt steady in the snow and slush I ordered a half size up with her same width so she can wear thicker socks. I tried them on and they were so comfortable that I ordered a pair for myself. We both agreed that the shoes were too warm in the mid 30s with thin socks, so we know they will work well for colder weather.

I returned these boots only because I had a pair stored away already and they are still in perfect condition. These boots are warm and comfortable.

I wore these boots everyday for a month while on vacation. I walked cobblestone streets, hiked slippery trails, walked up inclines and flat sidewalks, and even wore them for the airport and flights. And the boots still look brand new. I wear a size 10 regular but like a wider toe box. The 10 wide was perfect for my foot. The boots are extremely comfortable, even when sitting 14 hours on an airplane. I highly recommend them and beg to LL Bean to keep them in stock. I'll probably need to buy another pair as backup!

Love them, they are comfortable and great for walking on trails.

This is my 4th pair of these sneakers. They are warm and comfortable for my daily cold weather walks. I'm so glad L.L.Bean continues to offer these gems.

bought these before and love these. really warm and comfy and good traction bought a half size up in wide width so i can wear with thick socks.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. Even after hours in these boots my feet don't hurt. Definitely more like sneakers than boots, but with great ankle support. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought these to replace my last pair of snow sneakers that finally wore out after 15 years of winter wear. I wear nothing else in the winter for snow and cold activities. They are true to size, look stylish , comfortable , not bulky and extremely warm not to mention long wearing and durable.

This is a comfortable, sturdy sneaker/boot for walking in cold weather. They were easy to break in and comfortable from the start. I highly recommend them.

Real comfortable and warm for winter walking, also for snowshoeing. They are the best because they aren't bulky for doing a lot of winter outdoors activities.

Great boot - the only thing that is an issue is the loop at the back of the boot - way too small for my fingers and I have small fingers

Boot, fits good, had to go up a size, and wide was better then I thought it would be. Is a good looking boot.

Warm enough to wear walking in the winter in Minnesota. Fits well and looks good. Ankle support is good. Traction is also good. I gave it only 4/5 because I would have liked better arch support. Had to add an insert to get that.

Rare for me to find. A good fit,comfort,warmth and dry boots but these deliver.

A little bulky but otherwise a good well fitting comfortable boot.

I can't report on how the shoes performed in winter as I received them later in the season. I do like the color and the style. I'll need to wear them with thicker socks as the left shoe rubs a little bit on my toes. I'll need to share more later in the year!

I really like these as they came in Wide width but I would have loved them if the ankle area wasn't so tight. I can't use the top metal grommets as they make the top of the shoe too tight.

Very warm and almost perfect. A little more cushioning and I would be in heaven. True to size also.

I love the look and fit of these snow sneakers. They keep my feet warm, almost too warm sometimes! My feet can get a bit sweaty in them and I find I need to change my damp socks to be dry and comfortable. They do not bother my bunions and they seem to run true to size. When I wore them for the first time the tongue of the right sneaker kept rubbing on my inner ankle bone to the point where I had to put a pad there for some cushioning and protection. I found that if I changed the tongue so it folded outward, instead of inward, it seemed to resolve that problem! Overall, I'm happy with the fit, comfort and warmth of these snow sneakers.

I bought the snow sneakers in the high top lace-up style in November of 2024 for a lengthy trip to Europe. I needed a reliable, waterproof pair of shoes that would work around the city and on some light hiking excursions. These snow sneakers performed fine and are perfectly comfortable and cause absolutely no blisters. I did have to reorder from a 7.5 to a 7, as the first pair was just too long. I put many miles on these and I am wearing them to work now, where I am physically active all day. An improvement that I feel is needed: the insoles are very flimsy and could be of higher quality and be more supportive. For the price I shouldn't have to pay to get a new pair of insoles. Breathability is not the greatest, but perhaps that is the price for a waterproof shoe with these kind of materials. From a fashion perspective these are okay. Work in different kinds of settings and didn't look overly outdoorsy when used going to restaurants etc .... I bought the black pair. The reflective detail on the laces is a nice touch, especially walking in the dark. Perhaps L.L. Bean could add a reflective detail to the back of the boots instead of the logo. A lot of European companies add the type that is black and not the shiny silver, so it doesn't stand out unless light reflects on it. The inside of the boot has nice, soft quilting. The toe box gives plenty of room and they don't slip in the back and rub on the back of the heel. I have a wider forefoot and thin back of the heel. They look good with leggings , pants etc ... I probably would have liked them even better plain black without the blue detail, but it is not a deal breaker. In summary, it is definitely a great all-around cold season shoe that is not heavy and very easy to take on - and off. Outer soles have great grip, even on slippery cobblestone. Just hoping for a better insoles next time. Thanks L L. Bean!
