My husband loves these shoes. They are warmer and more comfortable than his "duck shoes" that he previously wore in wet/cold weather for easy slip on and slip off. They are holding up well so far in a long northern Minnesota winter.

Good winter footwear. A little disappointed couldn't get black, but brown is acceptable. A little wearing on some stitching is a little concerning

These snow sneakers are wonderful!. I love the fact that they are so warm and comfortable. They are a bit tight and I found it helpful to use a shoe horn for ease of wear as I didn't want to crush the heel. The ONLY negative that I have encountered is the sole. It has a tendency to be a bit slippery on shiny surfaces. If only they had the Arctic Grip technology it would be a five star review.

I bought these shoes to replace a similar pair that I bought from L.L. Bean years ago which had become my go-to shoes for winter. Other reviewers had warned they ran small, so I got a half size up (11 instead of 10 1/2) in wide. They do feel slightly loose when not paired with thick socks, but I have walked many miles in them so far, and they are comfortable and the tread holds slippery and snowy pavement well. My feet stay warm and the shoes do seem to repel moisture. Time and more snow will be the true tests of whether or not if these snow sneakers are as good as the previous pair that served me for many years. Fingers crossed.

Shoe looks good. It's got the loops to help you pull it on if you have child-size fingers. He finally got the shoe on but was wincing in pain. We waited 5 weeks for this shoe. Too bad the sizing has shrunk. It is definitely not an 11 Wide.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He has a difficult time finding shoes that fit his wide foot and are comfortable. I am thrilled to say that these shoes fit him extremely well and were very comfortable. He wears them when walking the dog long distances and inside the house. The shoe is incredibly warm which is a plus living in the NE.

Not as advertised in my opinion. Billed as wide width but wasn't . I need a wide (E or EE) witdth, not a single L.L. Bean shoe or boot I've ever tried fits.

I bought these for my husband whose old shoes sent him slipping on a brick walkway; no longer able to tie his boots, these wide shoes filled the bill for an immediate need. They are easy to put on and remove and they seem to have just the right amount of grip for a walking shoe. As an employee of L.L. Bean, I was pleased that LL Bean carried a shoe that solved a problem for my husband.

I was excited when I found these shoes (in black) from LL Bean. They are of a style that I have worn for years and they are insulated and waterproof. When i tried them on they were comfortable and fit well. I wore them in my house for the first two days I owned them. They were comfortable. On the third day I wore them while running errands. By the end of the day I noticed a strange ridge in the sole of the left foot towards the front of the heal. I could not feel the ridge with my hand but while wearing them they caused a definite pressure point with each step. Wearing them on the fourth day, the pressure ridge was getting worse. Steps began getting painful. By the end of that day not only was my left heal sore from the ridge but the rear collar had begun cutting into me near my Achilles. I ended up returning them by the end of the first week. I really liked the shoes but they proved wildly uncomfortable

Highly disappointed in this shoe. I have 2 pair of snow sneaker lace up and love them. The opening on the shoe was extremely small.very hard to put on and very uncomfortable once on(too tight). And disappointed that i had to pay $6.95 to return a faulty product.

The heals are a bit on the flimsy side for a slip-on show. The fabric loops on the heal to help pulling them on is too small to actually get a finger in. Best to buy a shoehorn to go with these if you buy them.

Initial impression as i just purchased it: Size, texture, overall support perfect for what i was looking for: overall casual shoe. Possibly too much shoe for hot weather .otherwise definitely recommend it.

The sneaker is warm. It runs small. I would have to order a half size up for better comfort.

Expected better craftsmanship from ll bean .dont know how long the stitches of the lining will last. Also the elastic venting(?) on the uppers should be more forgiving to prevent the back of the shoe from being dragged into the shoe when inserting the foot. Gladly pay another $20 if made in the USA.

The shoe is a good looking shoe but putting them on is very difficult. It is two narrow in the heel. You have to use a shoe horn.

Shoes are comfy and have a good non slick tread. Look good and priced accordingly. Only problem is they are hard to get on even with a shoehorn. The ankle elastic is quite tight even though the shoe fits well.
