Ordered in Wide, the opening for your foot fits a bit tighter than expected. I imagine that is because it is a snow rated show and they want it to be water tight. It does feel a bit tighter around my foot than I expected. Not too bad not to wear. Look great and comfortable other than right at the opening.

These shos are not insulated! They may be water proof but only on a very limited scale.

Bought this for my husband. PRO; Very comfortable once they are on. Con; Very hard to get on, they are cut high on the arche and gusset very tight. Am hoping they will stretch out. Not good if you have arthritis. Hence a star off.

Very warm all purpose two season casual shoe. The color I wanted was not in stock so I'll keep checking. I typically wear a 9 D ( med) width but found the show very tight so I went with the wider E fit and am very pleased. I hope the color I want comes in stock soon given the very generous one year return policy.

Love the shoes, good fit..but the heel does rise with each step. Tried to stop the heel problem with some mole skin and that did help. . Looks and works great!

I bought these in black, 11.5D (M). I was excited to see a shoe in a half size. Unfortunately, I will return these as I was unable to get my feet totally in them. I have a high arch and the opening is not large enough to fit my feet.

Fits according to size. A little loose in the heel, but fine for my purposes (errands, casual walks)

Although I had to return these due to a manufacture defect these shows fit perfect which is critical for wide feet people!

slip on designation should not be confused with sketchers slip ons. I have to use a shoe horn to get these on.

Shoes are great, I highly recommend them. Delivery on the other hand was another story. My purchase decision was based on the estimated delivery of three days, which was during the holiday break. (Yes I fully understand this is high demand delivery time but the estimated time should reflect current shipping time not best case.) They did not ship until a week after the promised delivery date. The label was created on-time. Then nothing. No notice of late delivery. No updates until after it was tended a week late to the carrier. The package arrived after I left for a trip. All I got from customer service was "sorry."

The heel curls under when you put them on so you can't just step into them like other slip on shoes. If they made the back of the shoe stiffer his would likely not be an issue.

Replaced last year's pair with these, but these hurt my son's feet.

Comfortable but only after you have put them on. I thought they were hands free but they aren't because the opening is too small.

My husband was so excited for these. I got him the wide in the hopes that the instep would be good, but it was really tight and he didn't feel they would be able to be stretched out over time.

I've owned two pairs of these snow shoes. They are warm and they have good traction on the snow. The slip-on feature is nice. They are not stylish or very attractive. And, they have a bad flaw: They wear out quickly along the inside of the foot opening both on the heal and the sides. This is an inexcusable quality flaw in a slip on shoe that I only wear part of the year. The reason I've had two pairs: Bean sent me a replacement because I complained about quick wear on the first pair. The replacement pair had the same problem. I see the price has gone up significantly. I won't buy another pair to see if the quality issue has been remedied.

It seems like you're only making shoes for kids anymore, I returned the shoes, as an adult I can no longer find many (maybe any) shoes from LLBean.

I have worn the precursor to this shoe for 15 years and bought 5-6 pairs. It was offered in Suede and Leather. I always bought leather in brown and black. The suede is not attractive, nor is the light sole. The black looks better in this style.

Nice short boot but not very cushioned. The description states cushioned like a sneaker but mine are not.

These shoes were w Christmas gift for my husband. He states they are "Difficult to get on and off." The opening could be more generous. They are comfortable once he gets them on. He's going to keep them in the hopes that they will loosen up a little bit.

Insulation is not very effective. Be sure to wear good socks with these if it's under 40 degrees.

Very comfy, solid snow sneaker. Good grip. Feels worn in already. Way too narrow, had to exchange for a wide, which I never do.

Comfortable shoe and is quality in construction. The only downside that I experienced is the long delay in "Processing"...? For the time you order to the time it's shipped can vary from 3 to 6 days. This needs to be addressed, processing and shipping should happen on the same day!

My husband is very pleased with these shoes. The keep his feet warm when hes outside and look good enough and are comfortable enough to wear all day indoors. He said they were initially snug but have loosened up just a bit.
