These are super comfortable work shoes for inclement weather. Warm for s sneaker style shoe.

The shoes fit perfectly and feel great. Usually Im hesitant to buy shoes without trying them on but have no problem with these. In addition, they look great.

Comfortable shoe from my first use. Size is just right, 9.5, which is my norm.

I needed a waterproof shoe for those dewy mornings with the dogs. These fit the bill.

Have only had it for a week but I am really surprised how much I like this shoe for trail walking. Right amount of cushion, lots of support in the ankle and wonderful traction. If there was one area to improve on this for me, the tongue could use a denser or thicker padding. I am not able to tighten too much on them.

I am one of those female humans who has a very high arch and wide toe bed and for the last decade I've mostly bought men's sneakers/athletic shoes instead of women's just for comfort and fit. In the Fall of 2026, I'm traveling to Alaska and wanted a sneaker that was waterproof and had a good tread and bought these shoes in Navy with the orange accents on the sole. I called LL Bean and asked what size shoe I should get if I wear an 9.5 W in women and the customer service person said a size 8 men's. Since I usually fit into a size 9 regular in men's in Brooks I was doubtful of this info and instead bought a 8.5 men's in the regular width. These shoes fit me well and also leave a bit of room for my big toe, wide toe bed and high arch. Be aware the tongue of the shoe is almost completely attached on three sides but I was able to squeeze my foot in the shoe, which was unusual considering my high Shamu arch usually doesn't fit into shoes with an attached shoe tongue. All in all, I like the fit, color and width of this shoe.

I LOVE these SHOES. From the box to my feet they feel better than any hiker I've tried. In fact I bought both colors. I wear them with the Explorer Ripstop pants...that's the problem. Neither of these colors go great with the Light Saddle color pants...LL BEAN, can you consider making these shoes with some brick/red/brown tones to match the pants above? Please??!!

I have a narrow foot and these fit great. Very comfortable and I like the styling. They aren't clunky...more streamlined.I liked the navy (looks black) so well, I ordered the green, too. Awesome.

Very comfortable ,good looking , only thing is they fit a tiny bit narrow and a tiny bit too long but still the most comfortable shoe I have purchased in the last couple years. The blue color is okay, just a little too bright.
I would buy these again

The Elevation Trail Runner shoe wears a lot of hats. It's stealthy around still-sleeping persons, they are sturdy enough for big box shopping, they're lightweight enough to nap in and I can crunch acorns and hickory nut shells around the yard.

I bought these shoes for my husband, who walks our dog in all kinds of weather. He has other L.L. Bean boots for snow and hiking, but for everyday use, he reports these are great. His shoes and socks stay dry when he walks over wet grass; the shoes are also just plain comfortable for walking.

Great foot support for a lightweight shoe. Out of the box, I thought how can this featherweight shoe provide decent support for my feet and wonky knees. To my surprise they did better than my older heavier weight LL Bean shoes.

This is my second pair. As an old runner they feel more like running shoes, light, flexible, stable. They replaced my Hoka Cliftons, the soles too cushioned and not as stable.

The shoes performed very well. Two weeks after I purchased them, we vacationed in Greece. I used these shoes to hike up and down the Acropolis in Athens. (Not a typical flat hike). The performance was outstanding. No foot pain or discomfort which I have had in the past with other brand shoes.

I needed a shoe that doesn't look out of place at work or the gym but that I could also walk the dogs in the snow and rain with. I hope I can buy these again when they wear out.

These are lightweight and comfortable hikers. Water resistant enough to keep your feet dry as long as you aren't hiking through deep puddles. They aren't super stiff like some hiking shoes and don't take months to get broken in.

Great shoes. Always happy with Bean shoes no matter who makes them.good fit out of the box. Ordered my street shoe size of 9.5 over my running shoe size of 10 and I think that was the right call. Looking at them, I thought they might be a tad narrow but that's about illusion I guess since they fit great and were plenty wide for a medium. Looks great - I'll be spending a lot of time in these kicks.

It didn't take long to decide on this purchase. The shoe was light weight, fit well with good support, flexible and comfortable. It provided enough support without sacrificing shock absorption qualities. I am not the best one to write on this as I use this style for all day wear and walking. For those who take their hiking seriously, I leave it to you to decide. But this fit the bill for me.
