Tried this sneaker when all my other sources were out of stock in the color I wanted. This is a much better sneaker it turns out. This is better made. It feels more substantial, is more stable and has a good arch.

As predicted LL Bean shoes are true to their workmanship. No longer am I able to wear hard sole shoes so I am always on the lookout for a soft sole shoe that looks conservative and gives support. I have had many complements in a short time on these shoes.

My wife and I walk about 70 miles each month. I was wearing day hikers and wore them out. This time, I decided to look into "walking shoes" instead of hiking shoes. Decided on LL Bean's product......and, man oh man ---- These shoes have proven to be limousines for the feet. Thank You.

the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I live on very rocky outdoor surface and these shoes protect my feet better than any of the big name running brands that I have used. Price was very reasonable.

This shoe could sell for $40 more like some comparable New Balance models and still be well-priced. I've been walking a couple of miles a day. In my rotation of New Balance, Merrells and this shoe, the Bean is as comfortable and well-made as any walking or running shoe I've tried lately. Unlike some Beans, this last is a perfect fit for my size. One nit -- that dark color isn't black -- it's a dark navy. I wish it were black. Of the three colors currently offered, I'd probably wear only the gray, which is quite handsome. Highly recommended.

Comfort, fit, looks great

Foot measuring charts say a 13 ought to fit me, but I have been uncomfortable in size 13 shoes. I am very pleased to have these in 14. I first looked at another brand of shoe on your website, but it was back ordered so I tried this one. It fits, and it is otherwise comfortable, and so far the materials seem to be easy to keep clean.

Very comfortable, all day shoes. I like these shoes a lot so I bought a second pair. I didn't like the white shoe laces. I replaced them with laces that nearly match the color of the shoes.

This shoe is great looking with it's deep navy color and crisp white accents. It also has good arch support for an overall good feel when wearing. I would definitely recommend this shoe!

It is a very good looking shoe, brown and navy blue. I was surprised by how light the shoes are, and the fit is perfect for me, but most important is how comfortable the shoes are. Highly recommended!

I have a difficult time buying shoes. But once again Bean came through for me. The shoes are great! They fit perfectly right out of the box and are very comfortable. I walk two to three miles a day for exercise and the shoes were very comfortable right from the get go. I would highly recommend them.

Fit is true. May seem a little snug on the first wear but they are comfortable, keep your feet in place and give you a real supportive feel. Quality looks fine too.

As a daily 3-mile walker for nearly 30 years, I have tried many brands of shoes in that time. I would have to rate these Bean fitness walkers as better than the rest. They have enough sole cushioning to make sidewalk treks comfortable (no knee or ankle pain), yet retain a good feel for any type of terrain. The wide width is comfortable but not too loose. Interior padding cradles my feet without rubbing or "sore points." To top it off, the price is excellent for such high quality. I had been buying shoes in the $125-a-pair range, making these a real bargain. I bought a gray pair of fitness walkers first; liked them so much I quickly followed up with the navy version. These shoes continue Bean's tradition of offering superior products at a fair price!

I just unboxed my new pair and walked 3.5 miles in the neighborhood around us. Excellent sizing with a wide enough toe box that I like. Light weight, nice combination of leather and breathable mesh fabric. I wear LL Bean Trail Hikers almost exclusively. These are a nice variation. Very pleased on day one.

The shoes were a gift for my husband. They fit perfectly and were comfortable right away, and he really likes them.

I love this walking shoe very much! I use it practically every day. The color works with anything you could ever wear! It's a great shoe it is everything that LL Bean said it was!

This is my second pair of the same shoe. I liked the first so much that I'm wearing them most of the time. That said the first pair are not so beautiful anymore; now I have a spotless pair too. They are good for walking or casual dress too.

Over the years I have purchased at least one of every color. This is the best shoe I have ever purchased. I walk 5 to 10 miles every day in these shoes and have never had any pain or discomfort from the shoe. The fit for me is perfect from the time I take them out of the box new until I have to discard because I've created holes in the bottom.

In late May, 2020, shortly after my first pair (in gray) arrived, I wrote a review giving them 5 stars due to their comfort, support and stabilization. Because I walk from 2 1/2 to 4+ miles a day, believe in rotating shoes, and found that I prefer these to the others I owned, I have since bought more. I can now add that they all have proven to be remarkably durable, holding up very well. I recently purchased the new saddle/classic navy style. While this latest pair evidence the same positive attributes as the others, and I am equally happy with them, I i did note that the mesh on these not only does not have the sheen of the gray or classic navy, but it seems to be a different material; the suede is a noticeably darker shade of brown than appears on the website; and though a photo on the website evidently depicts a saddle colored interior, the interior of the shoes I received Is a dark navy color.

Very comfortable and also stylish. It fits great and and my feet don't ache after I take them off. The also breath nicely. I will definitely buy these again. Just wish they offered in other colors.

The shoe is well made using good materials. It fits well and is comfortable for walking. The laces stay tried hour after hour.

This was my first time ordering this shoe & did so because of great previous success with Bean's Wide EE in other styles. The fit is excellent. They are comfortable and look great. I use them for walking and they have thus far shown to be very durable.
