My husband has a small foot, this size 7 fit, and he was happy with the shoe.

Possibly the best shoes I ever purchased from L. L. Bean, and I have been a Bean's customer for over 40 years. At my age, ankle support and arch comfort are very important. These shoes keep me comfortable walking nearly all day. Mind you, I'm not a hiker; but walking strength and comfort are paramount while traveling. I shall soon spend 2 weeks walking up and down Wales in the UK. I shall treasure these shoes the whole time, and of course beyond!

Fairly supportive and breathable, though the medium width is a just a tad roomy, so my feet move around in my summer-weight socks. I am a size 12 in every shoe I buy, so it's possible that this model runs just a bit oversized. May be one of the most comfortable fits at this price point!

Comfortable and durable walking shoe. I've had 5 pairs. I walk a lot and they last a long time. My current pair isn't worn out but I wanted another pair on hand.

I bought these as a gift for my husband. He said they were comfortable the very first time that he wore them - no breaking in!

Shoes are well made. My feet are wide and the ee's fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Nice and light but have interior lining above toes that other brands did not. Great value.

Very comfortable. They fit like a lot of my other LLBean shoes of the same size (10 regular), which works great for my feet.

They fit right, are cushioned just right for my walking,and look right-sensible! I bought my size-9 1/2 D, and contrary to other shoes I have web purchased, were honest to that size. No patiently and uncomfortably waiting for them to stretch.

When I first tried these on I was "neutral" on how they felt. The first couple of short walks (less than a mile) went fine and I felt no discomfort in my feet. Next was a significantly longer walk that included a lot of uphill walking, to the destination, and then a lot of downhill walking back home. Upon arriving home I wanted to take a shower so I removed the shoes and noticed my feet felt like I hadn't taken a long walk, i.e., they weren't sore or tired at all. I was really impressed by that! If my feet could talk I imagine they would've said, "we could've continued to walk many more miles without any problems!" They are now my good weather shoes and my feet are very happy about that! I ordered size 11D, my typical shoe size, and they fit perfectly... as if they were designed especially for me. Thank you, LL Bean!

This is my first pair of "walking shoes" and I'm completely satisfied. Extremely comfortable, and all around great fit and style. Would highly recommend.

Delivered within a couple of days, best walking shoe I have ever owned. Size 14, and I'm often hard to fit. Right out of the box, super comfortable. Good price, too!

Comfortable, Practical walking shoe with excellent support.

These shoes make it a joy to walk. I live in Chicago near the Lakefront and many places and attractions are in walking distance. The arch support of these shoes is wonderful. I am seriously thinking about buying a second pair to rotate with the pair that I already have.

I bought this at a store where they fit me. I bought a 10 whereas I ordinarily wear 9.5. They are very comfortable. Other shoes tended to be insufficiently high inside to accommodate my large toe, so it would rub against the top. These fit me fine and I have been wearing them regularly for 3 months now . I thought the shoe laces were too garish for my taste so I replaced them with brown ones I bought elsewhere. My shoes, brown & navy, now work in almost any setting now, including my 5-mile daily walks.

I ordered two pair--sizes 12 and 13--because I have an AFO that has to fit. The 13 worked well, LLBean promptly refunded my purchase of the 12s. These are extremely comfortable walking shoes that allow me to step out even with the mobility impairment of the foot-drop (hence the AFO). What more can I say--great product, great customer service....

Comfortable from first wear backed by LL Bean quality.

I have a wide foot and have trouble finding shoes that fit me well. The wide version fit well and are very comfortable for walks.
