A few years ago I purchased and had delivered to my home in the Oakland. Perfect shoe for after work and packed in my camping gear for wear in the afternoon and evening. After a few years, I need a new pair. Why does LL Bean prevent me from purchasing a good shoe? Dumb.

I bought a pair of Blucher Moccasins in January 2020 and am very disappointed that they are already falling apart. The stitching is coming unraveled near the laces. I called LLBean and since it is more thatn 2 months since I bought them it looks like I would have to pay to order another pair and then get refunded when they are able to inspect my defective pair when I return it. It looks like there are two stores that have a pair in my size. I would have to deal with the stores to effect the purchase/return; Bean corporate seems unable to help in a timely way. They mentioned that no more are expected until August. At this point, I think I will get out my waxed thread and repair them myself rather than pay again and hassle with the delay and expense of the process explained to me. It is sad - I have worn Bean mocs for over 50 years and loved them. I never had a quality issue before this and they were durable and comfortable, and customer service was world-class. Seems that times have changed. I still give them two stars for comfort and design, mostly in memory of how it used to be.

ordered camp moc shoes, and disappointed in quality of the leather, it was thin and not great quality. Would be happy to pay more money and get thicker oiled leather for this type of shoe....good thing your guarantee has changed otherwise you would probably get a lot more of these back...returned mine looking for something better.

I have had multiple pairs of these shows over the last 40 years and these never broke in. They squeeked from the first day and over the next month of trying them. I'm sending them back to LLBean to try another pair. Thanks goodness for the easy return process.

Stiff, uncomfortable and large for a size shoe I have been wearing for many years.

Not happy with these, and not happy with L.L. Bean customer service. Much smaller than advertised.

This L.L. Bean customer of many years is VERY dissatisfied. 38-INCH LACES ON A 4-EYELET BLUCHER MOC? RIDICULOUS! WAY TOO LONG! You should wake up the product managers and have them send a properly sized pair of laces pronto. This would not have happened in the L.L. Bean of old.

I've bought many items from L L Bean over decades. I believe that this is the first item I've returned. The EE width is much too narrow in the toe box.

I've had 2 pairs of the brown over the last 30 years - I love these shoes !!! I can't believe Bean discontinued the brown / cactus colors !!! This a travesty !!!

Such a disappointment. I've owned the mocs made in the 80's and they were undeniably the best out there. The current version is subpar and would not recommend them to anyone. The quality of the leather and craftsmanship in no where near what it was. The people leaving good reviews on these have obviously never owned a pair of them when they were actually well made. I am baffled by Bean's failure to bring these back to the U.S. and make them what they once were. I guess the mighty $$ talks in this case too.

I received these Mocs as a gift. Unfortunately, during my first wear I experienced a slip and fall due to a problem with the left shoe. While walking on a Store's tile floor I had to step over an object and my left foot slid out from under mecausing to stumble and fall. Upon examination it was discovered that the left shoe's sole was significantly different than the right oneseemingly harder and slippery even the "traction bar" along the outside edge. When I returned the Shoesthe clerk concurred with my observations.

Not the quality I expect from L.L.Bean, but materials and finish were ok. However, using the online fit tool and entering that I wear other brands size 12 Wide hiking and boat shoes, it recommended that I purchase the Blucher Mocs in size 12 Medium. I knew better and ordered them in 12 Wide, and they were still way too narrow, about inch narrower than my old boat shoes and a pair of L.L.Bean size 13 Wide Ventilated Comfort Moc boat shoes I purchased in June because they were out of 12 Wides, and about inch narrower than the size 12 Wide hiking shoes I wear every day. Tried to attach photo, from right to left: new L.L.Bean size 13 Wide Comfort Moc, new L.L.Bean size 12 Wide Blucher Moc, fairly new size 12 Wide hiking and old size 12 Wide boat shoes. If it gets rejected again, maybe photo of just the Comfort Moc and Blucher Moc will get through, if no photos are included look for my review on other popular locations, the size differences are almost comical. I'll be returning the Bluchers and eat the $6.50 shipping charge, they're painful to wear even sitting down.

I have worn these shoes for over 35 years. Most recently, I am on my 3 exchange for quality issues. For the latest pair, the uppers are not placed correctly/consistently on the soles, and the stitching on the top front of the shoes do not match in color. They look like they were not manufactured at the same time with the same materials. The leather is significantly scuffed, but I could have lived with that. These are going to be returned and I'm giving up.

I bought these months ago and put them aside for a trip. After wearing them one night on my trip I had literal cut on the sides of my feet. The stitches had sharp points inside the shoes that tore into the instep. In order to wear the shoes I had to put bandaid to cover and cushion the points inside the shoes. I've been wearing camp mocs and bluchers for 60 years and never had an issue in the past.

Have enjoyed wearing my old pair of the same mocs for many years; finally, had to replace them. Ordered exactly the same model and size as had and received shoes that were too narrow(not true to size) and sole was smooth rather than having grippy soles as were on the old shoes. This experience will influence any decision to purchase from LL Bean in the future.

Very, very, Very disappointed in these shoes, I'm not sure there are enough words in the English language to describe how uncomfortable these shoes are, once my blisters get finished scabbing over I'm gonna bring them out back and burn them in my fire pit. Without a doubt the most uncomfortable shoes I ve ever purchased. I liked the old LLBean, if the shoes didn't meet the quality that was expedited they would give u a refund. Such a shame.

LL Bean quality has dropped significantly in recent years. My first pair of bluchers lasted 4 years but my current pair barely made it to 2 years and has a large hole in one heel. I took it to the store and they refused to replace it and said 2 years was all I should expect to get out of them.Very disappointed!

I purchased a pair in Saddle color because I love the classic style they represent. Unfortunately the quality is not what one would expect. The leather immediately felt cheap, dry, and unnatural. This type of leather looks strange and unappealing out of the box, and gets even worse with age. The upper on the right shoe was particularly bad, feeling paper-thin and creasing in a strange way. The laces were also awkwardly long, leaving a huge knot with several inches of excess lace left over. I have several pairs of Camp Mocs which are very nice quality, but these Blucher Mocs are basically unwearable. I wish I had thought to just return them at the store, but I ended up throwing them in the trash in disgust. Oh well... lesson learned. I would like to try the Signature version, which looks a little nicer, but it isn't available in wide width.
