These are good shoes. The leather is not perfectly soft and supple, but they are instantly comfortable, clearly sturdy, and backed by a wonderful guarantee. These shoes are often derided on the internet, but they are always compared to shoes that cost 225 dollars. I don't pay that for my casual shoes. Anyone else that derides these shoes usually does so from a sense of nostalgia. I am 25. I never knew what these shoes were like before. However, I do know that today I have them and I like the fit, the look, and the comfort. Thinking about buying these shoes? Go ahead and buy them: they are worth the price, and save the extra money and buy a nice pair of dress shoes.

The mocs are very nice. My husband usually wears a mens 13 but we had to return them for a 14. (No return fee if you have a LLBean Visa Card). He has some extra room by the toe but that's okay.

i have to give shoes credit: reasonable price for a usually good looking pair of shoes that serve me pretty well on the boat. this time, i found the fit a little big, the look a little off, and the left one laced up wider than the right one, which was not common for my feet. anyway: if i could give some advice to llbean? keep up the good work and make it even a bit better. this is a popular shoe for a reason. i get compliments on these shoes from boaters who think they are better looking than the two eye boat shoes. they are better looking. but, maybe offer a higher end version? better leather, maybe a better sole (it doesn't last a very long time, is all.) a bit more quality control. these are the kinds of shoes that llbean can really be proud of. they could be a bit better - and i think if there was a higher end version, ll bean customers would pay up for them. my two cents.

I had to return the 12 Medium pair that I bought because they were too wide. I have worn out an identical pair that I bought from LL Bean more than 25 years ago. I have worn them every day since I retired 7 years ago. Needless to say, I have narrow feet and my worn out pair were size 12 Narrow. Alas, LLB no longer makes this style in a narrow width. If LLB resumes making these shoes in narrow widths, I'll be buying a pair. On the plus side, the return & refund process was very easy.

No complaints. High-quality uppers, particularly like the 4-eyelet fit across the top of my foot. Are sized properly. Enough cushion in sole and insole. Have enjoyed the tan leather color

I love this look and feel of this shoe, but the right shoe had a manufacturer's defect... The outer top rim was 1/4 inch shorter than the left. This make the shoes severely mis-align when the laces were tied. The shoes were returned and I am waiting for the replacement pair.

They shoes are well made and fit well, but the laces are way too long for these shoes. I will have to buy new laces or shorten these before being able to wear them. Disappointing to have to find and buy laces for brand new shoes

I wore these in college years ago and just had to get another pair. I had to buy a men's size for they no longer offer it for women.

These mocs are the best all around leisure shoes for indoor/outdoor activity. Highly recommended!

Good quality boat shoes. However, I returned them because it was extremely difficult to put these shoes on with the small and stiff foot opening.

Blucher Mocs were my everyday shoes through the 1980s and '90s. The ones I just bought are OK, but seem "cheap." The leather isn't as nice as it used to be. I discovered that these are made in China, not handsewn in Maine, as Blucher Mocs used to be. Again, they're OK and I'll keep them, but I won't enjoy them as I enjoyed my old shoes. I hope LLBean never sources the Maine Hunting Shoe in China!

These are too long so, I just sent them back to LL Bean yesterday.

inside stitching was poor on just 1 shoe. Probably the reason it was on sale.

ordered Wide, but still too narrow, fit different from other LL shoes

It's too bad LL Bean has changed suppliers (I guess) and no long provide a moccasin with a nice deep finished color similar to harness leather as they were for many years. The color of the leather now makes them look like cheap shoes and the color does not get better with age. It gets worse. Like my mother-in-law used to say "first they make it good then they make it cheap". Does anyone from LL Bean take notice of comments?

So, Super nice, quality item. HOWEVER, the cut is just too slim on the regular (10.5). They were too tight on my feet and I had to return them and search out a pair of these in 10.5 wide (EE). Luckily, I found a pair- I think, the last pair on earth in wide (EE) - and was able to get them. I've never had to order a wide pair of shoes till now. The wide fits perfectly. Super nice.

I purchased a pair of these Mocs a few years back, they developed an annoying squeak in the sole, and they were replaced under the LLBean guarantee last Oct 2014. Now the new replacements are starting to squeak !! less than a year later. This is not a squeak from where the body meets the sole, but actually in the sole. Reading the Reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence with these Mocs. Has any one found a solution to this?

Bought these for my son. Shoes seem to be very well made, but far too narrow through the toes. Had to return them.

Very narrow. EE was 1-2 centimeters narrower than other mocassins

Not a SHOE! Quite "light weight". Best used around the house. Shouldn't ware them to go outside or around the town. The sole is almost Thin. And who wants laces that are Screaming Yellow & Red? But they are comfortable and do look good.

These shoes do not come in a wide enough size for me.

The shoe was very barrow across the ball of the foot. Disappointing since they were nicely made.

I want shoes I can wear through wear and tear of being outside a lot. Although I like the look of these, both shoes now squeak. They drive me up the wall and I'm looking for a replacement that will be more long lasting.

Apparently nothing y'all sell is sized right. Bought pair of jeans, don't fit. Used store credit to buy shoes, don't fit.

Great looking shoe but zero comfort! I decided to return it.
