These shoes are junk. Wore them for a couple weeks and the rubber cracked.

Bought these as a gift for my husband. They were so super tight he could not even get his foot into the shoe! Sent them back and ordered a size larger in the boot version. Same problem; way too tight to even get on. Sent them back, as well. Luckily, Bean didnt make me pay their return shipping. Very disappointed.

The practical part of this shoe was just what I needed, but when I looked at them, I realized they were cracking after a few months of sporadic use. Returned.

I bought these. Wore them on a 3 mile walk. And the rubber tore on both pairs. If you're going to Sleep in them. They're Great!

These shoes are a horrible disappointment. In theory they are great and I enjoyed them for the two weeks that I had them. THEN THEY BOTH CRACKED, rendering them no longer waterproof. I have been shopping at LL Bean my entire life and have things that last, and last, and last. I look to LL Bean to provide a solid product that has sustainability built in. Fortunately, they took them back with grace and ease. I can NOT recommend these shoes.

I loved the idea of these shoes. Easy on and out the door in the rain when walking the dogsjust perfect. But they nearly immediately began cracking. This has to be a material problem as I have never had something from LL Bean fall apart like this. I would love another pairthat will NOT crack in the first month.

Bought two pairs as Christmas gifts. Both were only worn a couple times and started cracking. Awful quality and I hope I can get my money back.

Did not last one summer. The material if it is actually rubber tore by mid summer. And thats with occasional use. What is LL Bean up too these days? No photos added look at the reviews with photos.

Literally had the shoe around for over a year but did not wear it a bunch because it's a shoe for wet weather and I live in San Antonio. After wearing them a couple of days they were so comfy I bought another pair :( After 3-4 good days of wearing, I noticed some leakage on the tops. Both shoes cracked and leaked on the top crease at the base of your big toe that develops from normal walking. LL Bean used to stand by their stuff but only 1 year now WITH lots of conditions. After 40 years and 10's of thousands of dollars...I'm done. NOT the same company we grew up with.

A week after starting to wear the Wellie shoes the top rubber surface of shoe cracked and split open on left shoe. A crack in the outer surface of the right shoe formed a few days later. I'd had them for about three weeks. Otherwise they're great. Quite comfortable.

Fit well, but exterior cracked within weeks. Better options out there for price compared to quality.

Bought these a month ago, used them 3 times to walk around my yard in the mornings when the grass was wet, and one of the shoes already cracked on top. I will be returning this these shoes.

I purchased these and only wore them occasionally. They developed cracks that I did not notice until the return window had passed. This is the first time any item from LL Bean has disappointed me.

These are remarkably comfortable and practical shoes, and I loved them for the first 6 months. Then the vamp above the toes began to crack through. Apparently the same complaint as in other reviews. It's a shame - LL Bean rarely blows it like this.

My husband is on his third pair of these. We keep hoping that LLBean would correct the material so that they would stop cracking. We've had no issue returning them and getting new ones. They are great looking and comfortable. But he's had the newest pair about 2 weeks and they are already cracking. Certainly we aren't the only ones? I have read other reviews mentioning the cracking. Is this going to be corrected?? Very disappointed.

Nothing new here in the reviews: the shoes fit wonderfully, are the perfect keep-at-the-backdoor slip-on for dog duty or gardening...but wore them a couple months sparingly in the fall, and now one month in the spring and both are cracking badly and no longer waterproof. So, what's the point then? Might as well wear socks. Sad, and shockingly poor quality from LLBean. Also, had a terrible experience with customer service on the live chat. Beginning to worry about the company itself and wonder about shopping elsewhere (sadly!).

Bought in November 2022, developed a split on the upper in less than four months. Unacceptable for the price. Wore them in wet weather only.

I owned these wellies for about 9 months. I wore them maybe 7 times. The rubber of the instep on both shoes has already cracked. I have not used them roughly or really gotten then very wet, so it is surprising that they are already falling apart. I was excited about the unique look of these, but disappointed in substandard durability.

The sizing on these is way off! I purchased my usual size 8 and my feet were swimming in them, even with thicker socks. They kind of remind me of clown shoes.

The rubber cracked within 10 days; now, the shoes fill with water. This is just from simply walking around a park. Nothing too aggressive. Unsatisfied with purchase. Do not recommend.

My husband takes a size 7 shoe. These shoes were so big on him...maybe more than a size bigger. He walked out of them. And we both weren't impresses with the style of the shoes. Unfortunately I had to return them. Have noticed lately that the sizes are kind of all over the board for the men's and women's clothing and shoes. But will still purchase items from LL Bean, because I get free shipping both with purchases and returns, But when that stops, so will my purhcases.
