Great shoe, it appeared to fit however the heal keep slipping and while walking in the shoe to felt a bit like I was walking in a flip flop, therefore I returned it.

The only complaint I have is that LLBean doesn't offer this style for women. I bought a men's size that should have fit me but the shape was way off, had to return. Really like the style though

The shoes look and feel very nice, but the size is very different from standard shoe sizes. I always were a 10.5 medium. I ordered that and they were way too big, even with full socks. I paid for the return and got a 10.0. Now they fit the length but the heel was very wide and slid up and down so I had to return them. The problem with buying shoes at LLBean is you have to pay return shipping when they don't fit. Other places selling shoes don't do that since proper fit is often different for various shoe types. Yes, there is an LLBean store but it is over half an hour drive away from where I live.

I have worn these for four months and the waterproof rubber-shell upper is cracking on both shoes. I'm very disappointed since I bought them specifically to reduce the moisture that gets to my socks while working in the yard/garden. I love how easy they are to slip on/off and they're comfortable. But, they certainly won't do the job as described on the product page.

Although I liked the design and are made of good quality materials, the construction of heel support is low and therefore slips on me when I walk. I had to return the shoes.

Comfortable and fashionable shoes but not fit for purpose. The outer is waterproof but the liner absorbs and retains water. If moisture wicks down your socks the interior of the shoe is damp for days.
Suitable for short walks in damp grass.

They are a nice shoe, but I did not like the design and they run very big on size. I found myself stepping right out out of them and I had ordered down a size like they said. I had to return them.

I wanted a real slip on waterproof shoe. With this shoe I have to always reach down and unravel the heel part of the shoe to finish putting them on. My bad, I should have realized why that rear tab was put there. I want a shoe that slips on w/o fixing them to feel comfortable.

I liked these shoes a lot for the first few months but they soon started cracking at any spot that flexes while I walk. I only wear them a few times a week for short walks, so I was surprised at how quickly they started deteriorating. Super cute and comfy but I wish the qualities was there.

I bought these for my husband and they are great looking. He got compliments on them all of the time. He said they are extremely comfortable. But soon after buying them, they developed cracks in them. Customer Service was great as usual and sent us new ones and we returned the others. Less than a month later, the shoes are full of cracks. It's too bad because they are really cool shoes. LLBean really needs to figure this out. I've now seen other reviews mentioning this but it's time for new shoes!

I like the style and they're reasonably comfortable but they're rubber and cause my feet to sweat terribly. I returned them.

I bought the shoes and wore them 7 days in the begining of 2024. I put them away until I took a vacation in 2025. I wore them 3 days and the entire top came off. I had to buy new shoes while out of town. Too late to get a refund

I bought these shoes lass than a year ago and the uppers are already starting to crack and fall apart. I don't use them very hard so I am kind of disappointed. Do Not Buy

Bought less than a month ago and the shoes are already cracking. I returned and would highly recommend not buying this crappy shoe. Shame on ll for lowering the price on a product that should not be sold

My husband loves the fit & the fact he can wear them in wet conditions. Problem is the rubber on top of the shoes began cracking after 3 weeks of wearing outdoors. I do not see the Wellies on L.L. Bean's website anymore either. We purchased these slip-on shoes 2-9-2025. Shocked at this failure. We have been purchasing L.L. Bean merchandise since the early 1980s.

PURCHASED NOVEMBER 2024...I thought I found my forever garden shoe. I do all my own yard work and got these I was blown away. (small yard little mowing little mulching city house) Then after wearing them like 6X the right shoe on the top of the front has already started to crack????? Wellie's cracking, what, how......???? I had such high expectations for this shoe, being LL Bean outdoor stuff.... I really hope LL BEAN Customer service see's this. I see they are on sale but don't even have my size. They must have sold well because the black wasn't available when I bought mine in my size only green was available. Mine were $60 some dollars and honestly I was happy to pay it for what I thought was going to be a quality shoe.

I bought these in September, 2022. Around September 2024, cracks started forming in the tops of the shoes. I inquired by phone about a possible return, and was referred to the local L.L. Bean store in Paramus. The manager there said, since I bought them two years ago, I would be in eligible for a replacement.
This is disappointing. I expect to get more wear out of a shoe from L.L. Bean.

I bought these for my husband about a month ago as an early Christmas present and the material on both shoes on both sides of each shoe is splitting. I am a frequent buyer of L.L. Bean and this is the first time I have had a bad experience with the quality of the the materials. So sad because my husband really loves these shoes.

I bought these in May, started wearing them in July just to walk the dog in the morning (wet grass) and they are already cracked on both. I loved the feel and ease, I just wish the rubber had lasted.

These shoes are the poorest quality footwear I have EVER purchased. The rubber on the top and sided cracked and split after only 2 weeks.

These shoes are not worth the money. I only purchased due to the believed reputation of LL Bean products (supposed to be worth its cost). Guestimating at 60 hours use in the year's time of owning, I only noticed now, days after the year's warranty expired...cracks in the upper surface. This is yard work: mowing and edging/trimming at home. To be like the shown at appx 60 hours use is not what I'd expected. I had Redwings of daily use that only worn to this type of endlife for YEARS, not 60 hours. The soles have little to no wear.
