I purchased this boots in September 2023 for patrol. I really liked these boots and they are comfortable and kept my foot dry in the rain. But I noticed the side treads started coming apart on both pair of boots. Ive attempted to contact with the company and filed a defect form (12/15/23) but have not heard anything back from them.

Super comfortable boots! Run true to size and ready to wear out of the box. The issue is, they are never waterproof. I keep buying them in hopes they will fix the issue. But, to no avail, the pair I just purchased leaks as well.

I've had these boots for 2 years now and they are finally wore out. I am on my feet 16 hours a day. It had great arch support and were very comfortable. Looking forward to getting a new pair!

I bought these for work when they first came out. So did another work buddy. They are comfortable and durable. The wide with fits me great. I work in mud water snow and any other weather and terrain in Northern az no complaints. I would like a higher top for the winter. Other than that. Amazing.

I went through 2 of these. The first on the PLASTIC eyelet broke off just while lacing them. The second pair had a defective (plastic) zipper. Obviously poor quality (too much plastic). It is unfortunate, because they were really comfortable, and I have a hard time finding shoes that fit me right. I exchanged them first because I really liked the comfort, but I opted for a refund because I got 2 defective products in a row. (The only reason I rated 2 stars was because of the confort.) Hopefully Merrill will make something similar in the future with better quality.

The fold of material behind the zipper is slightly uncomfortable and bulges the side out a little bit. The boot itself is very comfortable!

I bought a black pair today from Bass Pro for work. Got them home, and there are two eyelets broken off the left boot. I never even got to lace the boot up! I live over an hour from Bass Pro, so returning them will be fun. Poorly made for $165. Incredibly disappointed.

Didn't hold up well and poor quality. Shortly after buying the toe tongue or front whatever it's called started peeling off and strings are coming out all over it. Also too hot but that's not the reasoning for the review.

I am on my third pair in one year. Super comfortable but do not last. The box sides come apart on all three. I am an Emergency Manager and do a lot of walking and climbing. I am going to try another boot since the price for these is too much.

Like others, first time out of the box the eyelet broke. The real kicker is this was a warranty replacement for my Moab 2's that are less than a year old. Two sets of Moabs fail in under a year, Gen 2 and 3... Not sure what to think.

Laces Eyelets broke when I was lacing the boots for the very first time! I returned the boots the same day to the dealer.

This is no MOAB 2, I am severely disappointed, I have only had these boots for enough time where I haven't even put on 200 miles, the outsole is coming undone, the laces have already torn and needed replaced, and they are NOT waterproof because of the mesh. I Work as patrol and have to do 22 miles on foot in 7 hours time, which means I do not have time to mend my feet and require actual waterproof boots, I ended up getting frostbite on my toes because of Merrell using their previous track record of the legendary Moab 2, this situation has caught me at a horrible time, as I still have 40 hours of work left, so the question becomes, how bad will the frostbite get? When a company lies and deceives it's users? My previous MOAB 2 boots have well over 4,300 miles on them, and the laces are still intact, and the tread has only just now come undone. Even with the legendary track record of my previous Moab 2 boots, the Moab 3 is so disappointing that I am completely done with Merrell and regret having my team select from them.

I bought these "waterproof" boots because I haev several Merrill products. Just washing car, minor splashing and socks are wet. In the wilderness this would be a disaster. If you advertise "waterproof" you should be waterproof.
