I bought this for an upcoming trip to Ireland as I wanted something I could wear over different shirts and sweaters. The shirt is fairly heavy and the petite small gives enough room to wear over sweaters as other base layers as I intend. I purchased the deep sapphire and the blue is bright and vibrant.

I love this shirt. Love the colors (maroon), the big pockets, the comfy feel. Was a wee bit bigger than I thought it would be, but that's ok. I can layer-up with ease.

This has been a very nice heavy shirt to wear this winter. I love the colors and the quality of the fabric. It is definitely made to L.L. Bean standards. So nice to have pockets!

I am 5'2" and the petite small fit just right. In the cool weather this over shirt kept the chill out. I love the colors too, the black, green, blue and white pattern goes with anything.

Comfortably, versatile, fits well. The pink and yellow colors are unique and feminine. Lots of compliments. I will wear this shirt a lot and for a long time. It's a keeper all around.

I love the pockets and oversized over shirt. Great for beach nights and for hanging out around the fire pit. Nice color combo, mine is yellow and teal.

This shirt is warm, fits well, and looks good, too. It is just the right weight for layering on those days when the house feels cool when it is bitter outside, and it also feels great as an over-shirt outside when it begins to warm up in the spring. As always, the fabric and construction are up to the usual L. L. Bean standards I have come to expect.

Quality outstanding, fabric exactly as described. If ever lost, would buy again.

This shirt is a great layer for days when a sweatshirt would be too much but a tshirt or turtleneck is not enough. I first bought the men's shirt as a gift and the recipient seemed to like it a lot, so when I realized there was a women's version I got it. This shirt washes well and I like that it has pockets.

Love my shirt, great over a short sleved shirt or over layers on a cooler day. I bought the off white with blue plaid, looks great with jeans.

The thing I love the most about this shirt is the combination of colors. It has burgundy, mauve, red, white or off-white (I can't decide), and an orange-tan that matches the buttons. I like the heavyweight, woven fabric. I could take or leave the side pockets. They don't add as much bulk to the stomach area as I thought they might. I don't like that the hem curls out slightly in the front. Also, I might prefer it to be a little longer overall. The hem is very curvy with the sides being much shorter than the front and back. I definitely am not planning on drying it in the dryer.

A nice looking cover-up for later in the Spring that also adds a substatial layer under a wool sweater for real warmth.

Just received this shirt and really like it. The pocket lining is a little different but I don't think it is offensive. I'm grateful for all the pockets. I think I will enjoy this for a long time. Thanks L. L. Bean.

Enjoying this shirt - it's just what I wanted/expected: a bit warmer, heavier than a regular flannel shirt, love the plaid, and it has inside pockets I hadn't expected.

Love this shirt. so soft and well made. on cooler days inward it with a turtleneck and jeans and looks great.

This is one of my go to pieces to run errands or have lunch out. It is heavier than a shirt, more like a jacket, has nice size pockets in the side seams to put a mint or chapstick. It is soft, cozy and colors are true to what is advertised online. I would buy this again.
